My disappointment with the intercontinental network ! We were regular customers of this hotel chain, before the sad experience in Ras al Khaimah. We had a rest with my husband and son at the end of May. The hotel is new, the sea is clean and that's it. Up to 5* is very far away. The food is not bad, but monotonous, which is very annoying for 2 weeks of rest, fruits are quickly disassembled. Queues at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and on weekends locals come and they are always a priority. You order drinks, but they can either not be brought at all, or they can be carried for a very long time or from the second or third request. There is no room cleaning, my son came to the room a couple of times, and there an employee is playing on the phone, sitting in an armchair. After such a "cleaning", they will forget to put towels, then there is no shampoo, etc. Nonsense is a hair dryer, you will not be able to dry your hair in the bathroom, (according to the laws of the UAE, there is a socket for a razor, but not for a hair dryer) but this was the case in all hotels and even in the intercontinental Fujairah, everything was fine with a hairdryer, it was built-in and a dressing table in the room. But here, this hair dryer is not kept in one outlet in the room, the cord is short and at any tension the plug pops out of the socket, I was offered to dry in the hallway on the floor at the reception)
If you want any entertainment or walks, there are none here. There is no animation, there is a children's computer club and vending machines. The beach is bounded on one side by boulders on the other side by boulders and a construction site. We have been to the UAE many times and usually these are long beaches with a picturesque sea world (stars, crabs, fish, hedgehogs, rays, turtles), there is nothing here except crabs and hedgehogs at the breakwater stones. There are shells. To the shops only by taxi, there is a souvenir shop with bathing accessories and snacks on site. In conclusion, I want to add once again that this hotel is very far from 5 *, even to his brother in Fujairah, the service, and the organization limps on one leg, but in general, as a beach holiday for the not particularly pretentious, it is very suitable. Quiet, calm, many families with young children, rest in the style of ate-slept) We're definitely not coming back here.

Rest 2 + 1. Reading reviews of a hotel, you always subconsciously choose those that have a rating other than 5. Reading reviews of this hotel, you think "no, it's people who are overeager." No. People are not telling this yet. In general, it is disgusting, terrible. It's funny that this hotel has an Intercontinental tag. I don't know what to praise, but there is something to scold unequivocally, so that the price is not quite low and, as expected, you think that the price corresponds to the quality.
Everything is included in your al inclusive concept, but nothing is included. For coffee in the coffee shop at the reception they ask for 27 aed, for a croissant 40 aed!!! That's 1200 rubles for an empty croissant!!! I find it funny and sad at the same time that I bought the cover. And then in order, but that's not all.
1. BYREDO.
Many people write about byredo cosmetics used in the hotel. If it was disposable, I would have believed it was her. But in fact, you just have reusable tubes of WB with the inscription byredo, in which God has something poured. But judging by all other aspects, it becomes clear that there is something the cheapest filled in, which is confirmed very funny: going into the shared toilet in a restaurant, there is a tube with the cheapest soap from the supermarket with exactly the same smell.
2. Room cleaning - what do you mean?
Yes, room cleaning here consists of making the bed. All. To remove the dirty plate?- no. The disposable cup after coffee stood for three days. Do you need to refill your expired disposable pasta?- no. Slippers? - No. And everything else is not there either, for which do not touch.
3. The new luxury hotel is only on Instagram.
The hotel only screams about its luxury on Instagram, because, fortunately, word of mouth is working against it. If I hadn't been told that the hotel is only a couple of years old, I would have thought that its age is close to ten. Everything was done poorly from the beginning. There is no repair at all. The light bulbs on the territory are only half working!!! The rest don't even change. It's not even worth talking about the rest if they don't change the light bulbs, well, it's funny really.
4. Restaurant?!
No. Just not. Everything that's in it. It's funny when the intercontinental hotel says “fresh juice” and it's poured from a pack of the cheapest juice. It's funny when it says "fish and crabs", you ask where the crabs are and they smile at you and say they're not here, there's only fish here. It's funny when the intercontinental hotel puts 20 bananas in a box as fruit, they are disassembled and no longer replenished. It's funny when there are no napkins on the tables (there have never been any during the whole vacation), you ask and they bring you one!!! It's funny when the intercontinental hotel in the emirates has ice cream for money. A lot of money! Sometimes, as an indulgence, they can bring you lunch if you ask well.
5. Service.
Well, how to say service. The reception staff is not very friendly.
Then, with any request, you will most likely be told "it is extra", which means I don't give a shit about your inclusion.
Of course, there are some friendly people, I don't really know how they ended up here.
6. The territory.
There is not much of it at the hotel, but nothing outside the territory. It's just dark and there's a construction site. There's nowhere to go. There are no shops nearby. There is nothing nearby.
And there are actually a lot of things, from the strange exchange rate of dollars into dirhams, to queues at a restaurant, etc.
As a result, the level is 3 stars, as in the review. No matter how Turkey is scolded, this hotel is no higher than the so-so Turkish four.

Hello everyone Visited the intercontinental hotel in June 2023
There are too many restrictions in our opinion for all inclusive
On the territory of the hotel There are club sun beds and a swimming pool where you can not stay .
The replenishment of the bar includes only water, tea, coffee, and other drinks for a fee.
The refrigerator in the room is almost not working , we bought ice cream , put it in the refrigerator , it turned into water , asked the hotel staff to put it in their refrigerator - they said we had to pay 15 dirhams .
There is no food zone on the territory , only drinks at the bar are included, and that's all, and then limited opening hours .
For the first two days, cocktails with syrup were only made at the bar, then they stopped adding it at all, they personally saw how the syrup was added to those who order cocktails for a fee .
When cleaning the room, I had to dial at the reception and ask them to clean up, because we arrive at 14.00 and the room is dirty, we called the reception, they said that there is no fixed time for the arrival of the cleaner, which in our opinion is as strange as possible.
For all the rest time, they never washed the mirror and the sink,
they only made up the bed for us.
Swimming at the sea is not allowed after 19.00, the beach is closed.
From entertainment there is absolutely nothing on the territory of the hotel , neither for children -animation , nor for adults - discos .
Next , the restaurant is the most strange scheme of work , you go down to the restaurant and you can 't just go to any free table , an employee stands near the entrance , writes down your room number and takes you to a place where you can sit down , this creates a queue, they offer you to sit down and wait on a small sofa , but it is already occupied by others waiting , as a result first you stand in line until everyone is recorded by room numbers , then you wait again when you are invited to go to the table .
If a better table is available , it is impossible to move without the consent of the employees , where they put you - you sit there .
Upon landing , whoever has a better room is sitting and looking at the street , whoever has a worse one is sitting and looking at the wall .
Waiter workers do not perform their duties very well , well , this is understandable , they found out their salary , the waiter said that he earns 400 dollars .
taking us to the table , they write down what to bring you , no one brings drinks with food on their return , we have to ask again to bring what we ordered before .
I also didn't like the fact that the local population comes here just like to a public catering, to eat . We were out of season and the hotel was crowded, and here the locals also come endlessly, occupy tables and it was such that even some food was not enough for everyone
And also, they drive up to the hotel and their cars take up a lot of space, we came after the shopping center by taxi and the whole entrance is just filled with their cars in the morning and afternoon and evening, it's hard to get away somehow.
There is also a cafe in the hotel-a recreation area where everything is paid .
There is a choice of food in the main restaurant , but not the delights
I do not recommend the Ala Kart restaurant at all, neither Turkish nor American
If you arrive at the hotel early , you will not be allowed to have breakfast , wait for lunch , also check-out from the hotel , lunch starts at 12.30 , we had a check-out at 14.00 , lunch was also not allowed !
And also in the morning on the day of departure at 9.00, they already turned off our access to Wi-Fi, it's good that we had roaming on one phone.
That 's the kind of hospitality here !
Of the pros - the rooms are nice, beautiful, but the TV here is like furniture, you can't watch anything on it and you can't insert an hdmi cable either
The sea is clean , the water is too
I liked the spa area -a good sauna and Jacuzzi , but you may not like that women rest there separately , men - separately .
I can recommend this hotel to those people who have been to worse places , you will definitely like it here !
We are used to better staff work , as well as to more hospitality , there is no such thing here , from the word at ALL
