The museum is very beautiful both inside and out. The guide we met was just a fire, competent, humorous and very attentive to the whole group of tourists. There is no point in going in without a tour.
There are not enough exhibits, but this is explained by the rapid commissioning of the museum. I hope they will expand the exposition over time.
The interior was pleasantly surprised, very beautiful and authentic, I went with the effect of "wow! "
The ticket is inexpensive, the staff is responsive.

The museum is a must-visit!!We arrived in the evening, at closing time, no longer hoping that we would have time to explore everything, and were completely surprised that a guide met us, offering his services at the entrance. At the entrance to the museum, we met a guide who offered us her services, promising us an interesting and informative tour. They paid in cash. The tour actually turned out to be an audio guide in a live guise. It was obvious that the person was saying memorized things that he repeats from tour to tour. There was no live dialogue. Information about Timur is presented one-sidedly: he is a hero, and we are his heirs. They did not even hear a hint about the complex character, contradictory history, etc., about Timur's cruelty and the grief that he brought to other nations. In fact, such a limited memory of a person is not the history of a person, but the glorification of themselves as his descendants. Something alive, and that between the lines, can be read on the captions to the portraits of his descendants. Each of which ends with a text about how he died/was executed. Here, though without explanation, the tragedy of the tyrant man and his entire family is felt a little.

While traveling in Tashkent, we visited the Timurid Museum. This museum was built in honor of the conqueror, warrior, politician Tamerlane. There is simply indescribable beauty inside. There are many ancient exhibits. When visiting the museum, I recommend taking a guide, he will tell you the story, which we did. I definitely recommend it for a visit.

Nothing special. Most of the exhibits, if not all, are copies of various relics and souvenirs donated by delegations from different countries. There is an amazing chandelier hanging at the entrance, if it weren't for it, it would be unclear what the money was paid for. So at least we took a picture against the background of the chandelier.

The museum is cute inside and out! The exposition, in general, is small, but the beauty of the dome inside with a magnificent chandelier completely compensates for the lack of an abundance of exhibits.
According to the guide, the museum was built in record time from scratch (like 9 months). By the way, I recommend taking a guide - his story will make you very happy with the conciseness of the exposition - a sediment of dissatisfaction may remain from an independent inspection.

I would like to thank the organizers and the guide (unfortunately, they did not remember the name). We had an unforgettable pleasure and learned new and interesting things. The guide told a very fascinating and knowledgeable story, while having extensive knowledge beyond the topic under consideration, confidently and interestingly answered all questions.
The tour flew by unnoticed, but there were a lot of impressions left. Thanks to the museum management for the excellent staff selection - for their knowledge and ability to work with tourists!

I associate my best visit to museums with this place. When we entered there, we were a little confused, because we didn't know where to start. A young man with glasses came up to us and asked if we had a guide. We said no. He said that he conducts excursions here and since he has a little time before a group of tourists arrives, he can show us and tell us about the museum and the exhibits. We agreed with pleasure. He told us in great detail about the construction of the museum and about the life of Amir Timur. He pointed at the exhibits and we followed him as if spellbound. It was very interesting and a little humorous) When he finished the tour, we had the feeling that we were walking with a good and smart friend. It's kind of sad to go to other museums after him. The exhibits are all cool. There is a hall with gifts to the museum from other countries, I really liked the Japanese porcelain and the Venetian mask. We got a million positive emotions from this tour, but unfortunately I don't remember the name of the guide. And if he reads it-big greetings and sincere gratitude to him.

An unexpectedly interesting museum, we entered it by chance while walking around Tashkent, and did not regret it! The museum consists of two floors, dedicated to the history of Uzbekistan and to Emir Timur himself. Entry is not expensive even for non-residents. In addition to historical materials, there are augmented reality objects on display, they can be viewed using the installed application on a smartphone (you can download the application using the gr-code specified there, I highly recommend it), it will be interesting for children. In general, the museum is designed for serious uncles and foreign groups.
