An educational museum about the history of Uzbekistan under the rule of the Timurids. Entrance 50k, excursion 25k (30min) Be sure to wake her up. When you enter the hall, you will be met by a guide. The museum itself is very pretty and beautiful, especially the dome ceiling, you can get stuck.
The guide was a funny woman, they shot 1000 words per minute, if you stop her with a question, she forgets what is happening and where :) but there are 0 quibbles for such a price.

Excursions are conducted inside for an additional fee, but according to other people's reviews, the excursions are quite interesting. The expositions have all been replaced with copies (unfortunately), and the originals are scattered all over the world. But the copies of the expositions also look very good and are quite interesting. The interior is simply mesmerizing! The unreal beauty inside! Marble, chandelier, drawings, ceiling. Just can't take your eyes off!

Good afternoon! We were from Lugansk and in Tashkent for the first time. The first thing we decided to do was go to the famous Timurid History Museum. It was July 26, 2022. And they didn't regret it! The staff is very friendly and friendly. The museum itself is as beautiful from the inside as it is from the outside. There are many interesting exhibits. A huge bonus to everything was an excursion with an amazing guide, a researcher at the museum, Javlan Ataniyazov. Many thanks to him for a very brilliant and interesting story. He is an amazing person, very literate, with excellent diction, speaks excellent Russian. It was very cool! Thanks for the tour! I wanted to visit this wonderful museum again!

Without a guide, the museum is about nothing. Labels with a minimum of information, no explanations. Most of the exhibits are copies and modern works. There is a whole wall of reviews about the museum from various famous visitors. There are a lot of quotes by Karimov. A huge dome and a giant chandelier are a kind of center of the whole museum. If you are lucky with a guide, you can make an interesting story based on this exposition, but it depends on the skill of the guide. Without a guide, just look at the chandelier.
