The construction site opposite is noisy all day, the pool is in close proximity to the construction site and construction dust flies to the pool and sun beds.
The beach is not far away, but to go again past this construction site, through construction debris. The beach is public, not very clean, in the morning it is the parking of camels.
During the week that we lived in the hotel, there was a fire alarm, then a power outage from 11 to 17, in the heat without a condom, it seemed that the staff came to the room all day))
Regarding the rooms, they are good, everything is clean and tidy, they clean the room 2 times a day, dirty glasses, cups, towels, bathrobes are taken from the room during cleaning, then they forget to put it all, they have to call, ask to bring it.
The food is delicious, the eyes do not run away, but there is always something to choose from, everything is delicious, the restaurant is not big, but the dishes are laid out as needed, and there is no such thing that something did not get, there are always fruits, desserts.
And although it was indicated in the voucher that there was one drink for lunch and dinner, in fact no one was watching, it was possible to take a few glasses of juice, and then pour a couple of cups of coffee.
The staff is friendly, no one seems to speak Russian, they communicated only in English, in general, some could explain to someone what they needed on their fingers.
During the week, compliments were brought to the room - sweets, a piece of cake, despite the name of the hotel, they were never treated to ice cream) I can't say that this is a minus, but it seemed that the business card of the hotel was ice cream, they could have been treated)))

It is very far to the beach, if you are traveling in summer, in the heat it is unbearable to walk 15 minutes to the beach, and on the way back there is not even a place to rinse your feet from wet sand. Moreover, you have to walk along a city street, you're covered in sweat, in sand, dragging towels, folding sun beds…
The pool is just tiny on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
It's all muddy, it's unpleasant to swim in it, dust and dirt are flying from a nearby construction site.
The hotel is for business people who need to spend the night, for a few days at most.
But the rooms are clean, the food is also not bad, as it seemed. The employees are friendly.
But I would never have chosen more for such money.

Breakfast is like breakfast: eggs, pancakes, greens, omelets, yoghurts – just like everywhere else.
Lunches: a little sparse. Meat of two types rice pasta vegetables.
Dinner: meat rice vegetables. You won't stay hungry. There is always something for children to eat. There is a children's menu: puree, soups, cutlets.
There is a choice on the shore: drinks and cocktails are all free. Alcohol is imported. Beer in cans. What could be even more beautiful for our Russians. In the evening there is nothing to do at the hotel – from the word at all. There is no animation. For children there is a children's room: for children from 3 to nine years old. I went with a child of 11 years, he was bored. Nearby you can go to the store. By taxi. There are always sun beds on the seashore.There is no need to take up space.There are enough towels.The climate is humid.I live on the 8th floor, the view is beautiful.room 825-everything is fine.If someone writes that everything is bad, it means they have not seen what is bad.

The hotel as a whole is not bad inside . I did not like that at the time of my stay there is a construction site in front of the hotel that closes the access to the sea . You either have to go through it , which is not really a pleasure, or go around it. Ruined the impression . You can rent a room in another hotel and not hear this noise and with closer access to the sea . At the reception , the Russian - speaking staff is not at all responsive . Anastasia is a rare rude woman . They could not settle earlier in time . Although they were with a child . Lunch from one to three . They said we could eat only after check - in . Ie at 14:00 . It is not clear where the logic is ! Considering that we had a child with us . It was very unpleasant . We had to swear and only after that we were fed.
I do not recommend the hotel! Nearby on JBR you can find a hotel in the same segment , but more pleasant .

The hotel pulls on 4 stars. Of the minuses: a small hall, loud music always plays in the evening, because the UBK bar is working downstairs. On the day of the eviction, they drilled loudly in the next room around 10-11 in the morning, it's not very pleasant, you often wake up to these sounds in Moscow, I would like to find peace at least in a hotel.
They put us in a room with a view of the lake, the view is amazing, but just for the sake of this view, I would not go back there. The area itself is not bad, it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the metro, which is also not very cool, since it is unbearable heat in Dubai in September. The station itself is far from the main attractions of Dubai, it takes 25-35 minutes to get to them, too. There is a shuttle service from the hotel to Riva Beach . This is a private beach with a nice pool, cool music, but the beach itself is a frog house. On our last visit, we stayed in a Novotel at the World Trade Center, so the transfer follows to the Kite Beach, where there is a lot of space, you only see the sea over the horizon, and you don't look at other high-rises, like at Riva.
In general, the hotel is not bad, but I would not go back there again)
