I recently visited the Cascade in Yerevan, and it was an amazing experience! This architectural work of art not only attracts with its majestic view, but also offers incredible opportunities for walking and enjoying the atmosphere of the city.
Climbing the steps of the Cascade is not just a physical activity, but a real excursion. At each level, new panoramas of Yerevan and Ararat open up, which are simply fascinating. I especially remember the sunset view — the city is shrouded in soft light, and the mountains look especially majestic.

A good view of the city from above - advice: it's better to go down than up)) Beautifully decorated with greenery. Clear. There is a fountain and a recreation area on each level. Inside there is a museum of modern art and escalators. It is convenient that you can go outside and cool down in an air-conditioned room + do not go up / down on foot)) There is also an exhibition of various modern sculptures downstairs.

Cascade is one of the wonderful places in Yerevan. There are very nice cafes at the foot. They're all good, I checked. You can walk up, but I took the escalator. Next to him in the lifting gallery are magnificent designer statues and various art objects. You drive and admire. And above there are wonderful playgrounds with flowers and fountains. But the main thing is the view of Ararat! It is beautiful at any time of the day. There you can feel the strongest energy of this holy mountain and Yerevan, which is located below.

Every time I arrive in Yerevan, one of the first places that I definitely visit is the Cascade. This amazing place has become a real find for me and a symbol of the city.

A great place to walk and just relax! The museum is under the covered sky! There are a lot of cafes around for every taste. It's great to spend time here both in the afternoon and in the evening. The cascade in Yerevan is one of the famous attractions. It is convenient to visit it moving from top to bottom, but you can also do the opposite. Athletic people cross it on foot, but you can also take the escalator. The height from the foot is 302m, and the number of steps is 572. On each of the five available steps of the cascade there are convenient platforms with benches and a fountain dedicated to its theme. This place looks like an open-air museum, with works of modern art on display. I would like to see the cascade fully completed in the future. And as it is written in Luke 14:28: "Suppose one of you decides to build a tower. Won't he first sit down and calculate the costs to see if he has enough funds to finish it?" I hope that someday this will happen and the cascade will become a full-fledged attraction of Yerevan, attracting residents and tourists.

Only after overcoming 567 steps and turning back to the city can you see all the beauty of the city of Yerevan!
Very convenient stairs for climbing, five terraces for rest and respite. You get up and admire the flowers, fountains, sculptures. Beauty! I can imagine how beautiful it is in the evening, when all this is illuminated with different colors of lanterns.
When you get up, especially on a clear day, you can see Ararat in all its glory!
To be honest, we didn't know there was an escalator, we went down the cascade on it)

A beautiful place of attraction for citizens and tourists. There are funny sculptures below. The cascade is beautiful. The view of the city is gorgeous. There are escalators inside (which is super convenient). And inside, too, everything is beautifully decorated. I will wait for it to be completed completely (work was suspended back in the 80s).

A great place , a very Cool idea , it's a pity that the construction is not finished and frozen , but 90 percent of it functions perfectly, there is an escalator inside to the top, a lot of interesting exhibits and exhibitions, you will occupy yourself for half a day for sure. By the way, visiting all the exhibitions inside is free! And there are a lot of different cafes and restaurants downstairs.

The place is certainly beautiful and interesting, but we were very impressed by the sculptures placed along this path. I wonder who came up with the idea to install sculptures of naked men and women in a park where almost everyone walks with children? I had to distract the attention of the children, who were shocked by what they saw. It was like being in Holland. But this is the norm there, but for the Armenian people it is at least wild. At least these wonderful sculptures of modern art were dressed in underpants.

Having visited there for the first time and seen Ararat from the top steps, you come there as often as possible to enjoy the view of the city, the noise of fountains, the view of sculptures and the boiling life around. While nearby, at the foot, people are running somewhere, drinking coffee in a huge number of cafes and restaurants, just looking around and enjoying life.
If you haven't seen the sunset and sunrise from the Cascade, the world has something to surprise you with.
For those who find it difficult or difficult to climb up on their own, there are escalators on the left side inside, along which works of Armenian art are presented.

The place is beautiful! There are always a lot of tourists here. Please note that the museums inside the Cascade are open only from Friday to Sunday. A separate quest is to get into the exhibition halls (these are elevators, feel free to press the buttons). The tour is more interesting, they tell a lot of facts about the construction of the cascade and art objects. I recommend you to visit.

There are many exhibitions and museums while you are climbing, for convenience, an escalator, the park itself is an open museum, many restaurants and recreation areas. We had a lot of fun, we visited several times , each time we discovered something new for ourselves. I recommend it for a mandatory visit.

One of the few places in Yerevan.
Despite the unfinished construction, it is very cool. The Museum (?) contemporary art on every level. The escalator is open for up to 20 hours.
It's time to go in the evening. We were lucky to have a concert dedicated to Charles Aznavour. It's very atmospheric.
Well, it's just worth going upstairs to look at the city.

A wonderful place, with one of the best panoramas of Mount Ararat and the city of Yerevan. It is very difficult to climb, you can always make a stop between the cascades and enter the museum areas, rooms under the cascading stairs. A couple of cascades have not been completed, but this does not prevent you from climbing to the very top.

At the highest point of the Cascade, the center of Yerevan is in the palm of your hand. As for the museum inside the Cascade, the chairs, the car, and other exhibits are not very clear. It's a pity that I had little time.... an amazing place, the city is in the palm of my hand ... with each step there is a new angle, a magical picture in a pink haze…Ararat is like the top of everything beautiful ... You need to visit Yerevan at least once, Mount Ararat is clearly visible from the Cascade in clear weather!!! There are a lot of cafes downstairs that are very good, very tasty to eat, but know the prices here are higher than in the center.
