Ну место конечно культовое и хотя бы разок наверное сходить сюда нужно. Вкусно кормят, порции нормальных размеров. Вид на город вечером не так хорош как о нём говорят, но в целом нормально. Само здание явно требует ремонта, особенно балкон. Но всё равно мне тут понравилось. Очень аутентично. Хорошее меню с красивым описанием не только блюд, но и истории самого ресторана.

We were in this restaurant late last week, a tall, dark-haired young man, the receptionist looked us arrogantly from head to toe (we were in ordinary clothes, on the way we stopped to eat at this "vaunted" and supposedly cool restaurant) and immediately on the move "We have so much deposit... Are you ready?"
Um... what do you mean?? Is it so customary to greet guests in an expensive and "lauded" restaurant??

Оригинальное неповторимое историческое место. Место, где можно соприкоснуться с историей. Обязательно перед посещением прочитать историю создания и появления данного объекта. В с амом ресторане много исторических фотографий. Отлично, что поддерживается в первоначальном виде ( ну почти). Огорчает само отношение нынешних хозяев к посетителям ресторана как к бездонным кошелькам и как к своим подданым. Заходить нельзя, фотать нельзя, меньше чем за 1500 рублей вам здесь делать нечего. Хочется обратиться в комитет по правам потребителей, да страна не та...

Вкусно, красиво, вежливый персонал, принесят быстро.
По меркам Москвы цены вменяемые) Уж простите)
Сам ресторан красивый, вид с него отличны й и сам смотрится великолепно.
Рекомендую. Был в апреле, загруженность не большая, столик не заказывал. Но чувствую, что в сезон надо заранее побеспокоится о заказе стола.

A terrible impression from visiting this restaurant! The waiters and staff are arrogant and arrogant! The level of the restaurant is a good dining room in Moscow. Moreover, they use dishonest methods to withdraw money. That's exactly what it is. The waiter offered to order a rack of lamb, which was not on the menu. We have specified the serving size and price. The price turned out to be quite affordable. We ordered it... But when the bill was brought, it turned out that the waiter announced the price for 100 grams, and not for a portion. Their serving is standard - 400 grams. You can't order 200 grams or 300 grams. At the same time, he did not warn that he was voicing the price for 100 grams. It is strange that he did not announce the price for 50 grams or 10. As a result, we paid 4 times more. Gagripsh restaurant is an interesting place, built in 1902. A beautiful and ancient restaurant brought from Scandinavia in 1902 by the Prince of Oldenburg. At the entrance, the inscription was immediately strained: walking on the territory is prohibited, a fine of 10 thousand rubles. But still we decided to have a cup of tea with dessert and went up the stairs into the hall in which there were 2 ladies at the window drinking wine for the whole huge hall. The waitress came up to us and said that they had a deposit of 1,500 per person and it would not be refunded if we did not choose it, but there were three of us and the waiting time for dishes was from 10 minutes. Disappointed in this, we went to look for another place to have tea.

К посещению рекомендую, но надо запастись терпением и нервами.
Плюсы.
Историческое место, красивые виды, возможность окунуться в прошлое, разнообразный ассортимент блюд.
Недостатки: был в этом ресторане три года подряд, как и в самой Абхазии. С каждым годом отношение все хуже и хуже. Официанты хамят и не пустили в последний раз. Аргумент- у нас депозитная система 1500 р с человека в том числе и с ребенка. А то, что депозитная система работает с 17 часов, а я пришел с семьей и мамой в 14 часов, им плевать.
С такими сотрудниками собственники ресторана будут нести убытки в скором времени.
Итог похода. Осадок в душе, лучше бы не ходил. Абхазы - это не гостеприимный народ. Очень жаль.

Ресторан со столетней историей, и это чувствуется во всём. Необычное здание, купленное на Парижской выставке и собранное без единого гвоздя. Прекрасны й вид на Чёрное море. Оригинальные блюда в меню. Особое впечатление оставил обслуживающий персонал: с одной стороны и администратор, и официанты общительны, клиентоориентированы, с другой- чувствуется школа: всё чётко, оперативно.
По вечерам на сцене всегда живая музыка: саксофон, скрипка, вокальное исполнение. Несмотря на то что исполняются достаточно популярные композиции, в подборке репертуара тоже есть и такт, и достоинство. Гагрипш - очень атмосферное место, где чувствуешь себя персоной начала 20 века.

Ресторан Гагрипш - очень атмосферное место. Блюда вкусные. С веранды открываются потрясающие виды. Ценник в рамках разумного (не дешево конечно, но можно себе позволить). Принимаются только наличные или переводы на Сбер. Карты не принимаются как практически во всей Абхазии.

At the entrance, the girl announced the cost of a deposit of 2000 rubles from an adult and 1000 rubles from a child. My husband and I thought that since we decided to definitely visit this restaurant, what can we do, we stayed.
The waitress gave the menu and left. When they began to announce the order, there was not much on the menu, and the price tag for replacing dishes was higher than those that they originally wanted to order.
In general, the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. I really liked the live music - violinist, vocalist, saxophonist.

Очень классное, старинное, колоритное место. Старинный замок переделан под ресторан. Персонал встречает на входе непосредственно в зал. Приятная девушка объяснила нам, что столики депозитные. Депозит 1500₽ за человека. Очень разнообразное меню. Время ожидания от 15-20 минут в зависимости от сложности заказа. Пока заказ готовится, можно сделать экскурсию по ресторану. На балконах есть зоны для курения, кресла, пепельницы, столики. Можно заказать кофе сразу на балкон. Атмосфера сказочная. Еда очень вкусная. Цены конечно выше среднего, но вкус и впечатления того стоят! Рекомендую!

Исторический ресторан, очень красивое место, вкусные блюда, вежливый персонал, набран из русских, дорого! Последний раз посещали осенью 2019 года, всё было хорошо, но летом 2022 появились новые правила. Теперь надо вносить депозит: в июле в размере 1500 рублей, а в августе 2000 рублей с человека, что неприятно увидивило. Естественно, если ты тратишь меньшую сумму, деньги не возвращаются. А ведь иногда было приятно прийти в ресторан и просто выпить чашечку кофе, сидя на балкончике, к слову, кофе "Гагрипш" был очень вкусный! Ещё из нововведений: теперь запрещены экскурсии по ресторану.

+: памятник архитектуры с интересной историей в отличном состоянии! Вкусная кухня. Ценник за обед в среднем примерно 2000₽/чел (без дорогого алкоголя). Красивое расположение, сногсшибательный вид на море))
-: пятница и выходные много людей. Странный администратор-мужчина, который вводит в заблуждение с бронированием. В итоге сложно/невозможно забронировать хороший столик. Остался неприятный остаток. Хотя за два дня до был отличный обед в ресторане при администраторе женщине))) - тут видимо как повезёт.
Итог: посетить нужно обязательно, но лучше в будний день), для выходных бронирование желательно за 4-5 дней.

Посетили в августе 2023. Здание с историей, несомненно, украшение Гагры. Но как ресторан - не слишком впечатлил. Ценник выше среднего по городу. Столики по понятным причинам (абсолютно все идут посмотреть на достопримечательность, вечером битком) желательно бронировать заранее, но номера в сети нет, визитку с ним дали при посещении, на всякий случай фото прилагаю, вдруг кому пригодится. Все столики предоставляются под депозит - 1500 рублей на человека, но меньше с их ценами за ужин или обед и не получится. Меню в целом стандартное для региона. Обратите внимание, в счёт включают 10% "за обслуживание" - на мой взгляд не вполне честный приём, по мне лучше ещё больше увеличить стоимость блюд. В 19 часов началась музыка, вначале мальчик играл на скрипке, потом дама что-то пела - на любителя, в зале раздавались порой аплодисменты.

Just going in for a cup of coffee or eating ice cream won't work. At the entrance, the staff greets you and says that they have a deposit for each person. People just turned around and left, the hall was empty. The staff was not very hospitable. We ordered pasta, it was delicious. We ordered strudel for dessert, but it's too sweet. And the second dessert is their signature, it feels like it was old and not fresh. The pitch is certainly beautiful. For that kind of money, you could have a better and tastier meal.

we went to take pictures of a top place, but decided to have a snack. The price tag is high, the food is ordinary, as in all of Abkhazia! Service for 2, girls do not know what customer orientation and etiquette are at all… When asked how much a milkshake costs, the child was answered: everything is written in the menu!
I recommend taking a coffee, looking at the situation, taking a couple of photos and leaving, there is nothing special there

Архитектурное наследие, не более!
Здание с более чем 120-летней историей по-настоящему впечатляет своей изысканностью. Владельцам удается по сей день сохранять первозданный вид и это очень ценно!
Но вот с питанием все не так радужно.
Меню разнообразное. Предлагают блюда европейской до кавказской кухни. Но на выходе вы получаете совершенно непонятные фантазийные блюда).
На мой взгляд, куда приятнее (и вкуснее!) было бы наслаждаться в этом историческом месте аутентичной абхазской кухней.
И отдельно о музыке! СЛИШКОМ ГРОМКО!!!
В заведении играет живая музыка. Прекрасные музыканты и исполнители. Красивая музыка и голоса! Но почему это должно быть невыносимо громко?! Не слышно даже соседей за столом. Приходится кричать.
А еще вопрос по дресс-коду. Во многих отзывах пишут, что нельзя в шортах, на входе висит предупреждение. По итогу - ползала в шортах🤷🏻♀️
В общем, когда планируешь посетить место с историей, ожидаешь какой-то особой атмосферы, и обидно, когда эти ожидания не оправдываются

Когда планировали отдых в Абхазии, обязательно хотели посетить этот ресторан, как одно из исторических мест. Очевидно, что интерьер Гагрипша и его месторасположение в оценке не нуждаются - визитная карточка Гагры, как-никак) От кухни многого не ожидали, т.к. начитались противоречивых отзывов, но в итоге были приятно удивлены - все блюда были очень вкусными, особенно мне понравилась уха по-царски, а лимонад так вообще огонь! Что касается депозита в 1500р. на человека, то нас это не напрягло - в крупных городах России почти в любом приличном ресторане депозитное бронирование: к примеру, в ресторане Сахалин в Москве, мы вообще 10000 на двоих только в качестве депозита оставили. Что до обслуживания, то мы ничего предосудительного не заметили - вежливые и расторопные официанты, приветливые администраторы. Мы были днем в будний день, возможно, вечером, царит другая атмосфера. В общем, мы остались довольны визитом, с удовольствием вернемся сюда в следующий раз в вечернее время, хочется послушать живую музыку))

The service for which they charge 10% is questionable. First you wait at the entrance, then the waiter. Then I want him to come back. Smile -no, you haven't heard. I'm underpaid for this.
The food is not delicious. There are cold seafood in the salad. The ear is tasteless.
Smoked pork is disgusting. It's just something overcooked in a pile of butter. Local wine.. for the price of 750 per glass.. It's a direct question. What did they pour you there? They said they couldn't try it anywhere else. Thank God.
The institution itself has already "seen the sights."
They obviously don't really want to invest. It's just like in the 90s.
Come for a photo. But don't forget about the 1500 deposit. Which is just amazing these days. Don't come to us just like that. Tourists and onlookers. We have a serious establishment here. You have to pay.

Почините часы - позорники! :)
- За историческое и потрясающее красивое место -- +5.
- За пафосное меню, в котором, как оказалось многое было недоступно для заказа, как например, "мясо по Абхазски" (точно не помню название, но было сказано, что вся абхазская кухня мясная) -- -1.
- Пришлось заказывать форель. Я много перепробовал форели в Абхазии, но такой вонючей с запахом тины, мне еще не доводилось пробовать. Смените поставщика. Ловите минус один -- -1.
- Вы чего там напридумывали с какой-то минимальной кредитной суммой? Минимальный заказ на 1500 руб. Что это за понты, ребята? Это за что? За то, что вам здание досталось в наследство? Хоть бы часы починили бы, позорники. Еще минус бал -- -1
- "Уважаемый". Да, это я к тебе обращаюсь, официант, сделай лицо по проще, чувак :) -- -1.
По итогу +5 -1 -1 -1 -1 = 1
Ладно, оставлю 2*

Атмосфера и еда понравились. Вкусно и красиво. Правда алкоголя нет и половины из того, что представлено в меню. Депозит 1,5тр на чел. Обслуживание страдает. Баллов на 2,5. Официанты как сонные мухи, лишний раз не подойдут и не ответят на интересующий вопрос (во всяком случае у нас именно такая была, стол при входе справа, имя не помню). Зато за обслуживание в счёт включили как надо

Обязательно к посещению! Помимо вкуснейшей и достойной кухни, историческое наследие и прекраснейший вид. Про историческую ценность ресторана не здесь, а вот кухню можно оценить на превосходный балл. Мясо в любом виде превосходит всяческие ожидания. Форма подачи тоже. И сочный стейк, и цыплёнок, и шашлык (хотя последний уже ни в каком виде не возбуждает аппетит, здесь «зашёл» на ура). Отдельная тема уха!!! Это стОит попробовать! Очень вкусно, очень насыщенно и есть точно свой оттенок у блюда. Хачапури традиционно вкусные в Абхазии даже в низкопробных заведениях, но в Гагрипш очень вкусные и сыра ровно столько, сколько нужно, чтобы продолжать любить хачапури)). Официанты вежливые, внимательные, хорошо знают меню, улавливают твою потребность. Молодцы! Марку держат! Рекомендую эстетам точно)
