We came to drink beer at the bar on Stout Day on November 7th. You ask the bartender about the beer, he looks past you and grudgingly mumbles something. The 2nd bartender approaches and the two of them stand joking and giggling.
As a result, they just went to another place where the bartenders are interested in telling you something about beer or advising you to take something else if your favorite beer is not available. The most annoying thing is that I know that there have always been cool bartenders in this place and it was interesting to discuss beer with them in general. Very sorry

We were a big company during the New Year holidays in Minsk, we went to this gastropub. We didn't get there the first time, all the seats were occupied. The next day we were able to sit there. Several beers, snacks and hot dishes, including national dishes. Several halls, decorated in the style of a Czech or German beer hall, polite staff. There were a lot of people, the feed was slightly delayed. But in general, it's not critical, we talked. The staff is very polite and considerate.

As always, it is delicious, pleasant and healthy! Of the three dishes - all three hit 10) came to sample pork ears-tried two options and liked both, although the dish is for an amateur! And the port snack reminded me of a fish restaurant on the market in Riga!!! And for me, this is aerobatics, whoever was there will understand))) everything is great, we recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!!!

It is not clear where 5 stars come from. The service is zero, with incomplete boarding on the summer veranda and three waiters, the menu was brought in 15 minutes upon request. Next, they ordered a seafood grotto and eventually brought it an hour later, eventually refusing the dish. The serving of the dish also leaves much to be desired. The only thing for which the two stars are the bartender and the security guard is really a customer-oriented and pleasant person. The rest work with a sour face. It's just awful.

Shock! I went to Gambrinus for several years, invited friends from Russia only there, everyone liked everything. But now the place has turned into a diner. Examples: beer has been spilled and dried under the table for a long time, the dust in the toilet has not been wiped for months, uh, you swipe a napkin on the table, a black mark remains on the paper! Dirty plates and utensils are not cleaned by anyone - the waiters are not trained in this super-ability. Beer is carried longer than cocktails are prepared in the neighborhood. They forgot about one dish and brought it cold. And that's all in one go. Shamefully. Despite the fact that the prices are the highest in the city due to the proximity to the Town Hall.

The beer from the tap was warm. Actually, Gambrinus beer is only in bottles. The staff is fussy, but they were served quickly. Borscht turned out to be just beetroot soup. Do not try to take a "goulashok", it has nothing to do with Czech cuisine, although there is an icon! There was no sharpness, as there is a warning about, one cumin, not ground. The ingredients are so crushed that it is absolutely unclear what is in the soup, it even tasted like pearl barley. There are also big doubts about the veal, it was just minced meat. There was no reaction to my reply that the soup was terrible. In general, some kind of unpleasant, slimy biomass. The wings were not bad, but they are difficult to spoil. I was surprised that there were no cocktail tubes in the bar, despite the fact that there was ice. Nice music. It's quite noisy. It is not convenient to sit and go out at small tables, the chairs are close to the neighboring ones. There is nothing non-alcoholic, except for two types of bottled beer.

It's a very atmospheric place. The beer selection is excellent. The food is a bit greasy, as well as many places in Minsk. I liked deep-fried cheese, chicken wings, Belgian potatoes. It's more difficult with pancakes - all the recipes are too greasy. But the top dranik on the Dranburger is what you need)

Times have changed, in Gambrinus against the background of hard times, beer has become much worse than in competing bars, now the industry has adapted, but there is still trouble here. For a long time I did not go to Gambrinus for this reason. Today, after scrolling through their website, I bought it. Instead of calling before the visit. As a result, the site cannot be trusted at least in part of the beer assortment. You can compare it with the photo yourself. The taps are almost empty.
From the German hell - only Riegel, but by the way, not bad and very nutritious.
There is a lot of writing about under-watering - but this is a long tradition of Gambrinus. As an option for consideration of a photo- a beer cap in a glass of 0.5. As for me, it's too big. (For clarity, a comparison of the volumes of the bolt from the tap and the hacker-pshor from the jar).
I took ears in mustard sauce from snacks. The ears are not bad, but it was with this sauce that they did not light.
Schnitzel became a fiasco for me, as a novelty of the local assortment:
It's not schnitzel - it's a simple, moderately thick piece of medium-sized meat served in breading, in sections - salted and, very strangely, with a stable garlic taste, covered with crispy, at first, breading. Since the thickness of this piece exceeds the standard maintained in this case by the dough, it soon "floats".
Also, pay attention to the serving - potato salad is replaced with fries, lemon with pickled pepper, and the accompaniment of berry sauce and tartare is generally beyond the limit. But, "The artist sees it that way."
And after all, he called it correctly in the menu, without pretensions: "Viennese Schnitzel" (i.e. its interpretation), but why in the description was it necessary to emphasize its production according to a classic recipe (from the classics, thank God, at least veal as meat), with which the cook is not familiar enough, so he also perverted it the pitch?
In general, if we consider the dish as a piece of meat in a dough to satisfy hunger, it is quite edible. But if you expected to enjoy the already familiar and tried taste of Viennese schnitzel - do not flatter yourself and scroll through the menu further. It is better to take something more familiar to cooking by local chefs.
Abstracting from the above- a cozy place in the center to drink and eat what they give.
Reduced from 3 to 5. Deception on the site can be interpreted as misleading the consumer, and this is not ice. Well, there are questions on the menu..
