A peculiar place )
The location, the interior and the work of the waiters are of course great
But the taste of the food... does not pull at its cost at all. We took 4 different dishes. Firstly, the serving size (taking into account the price) is small, and secondly, there were nuances in each dish)
The most expensive and most unfortunate place that we visited in all 3 days in Minsk and all 7 in Belarus . It is a pity that it was this institution that ended the auto trip around the country

I decided to order snails, and the waiter offered ciabatta to this dish, to which I replied "there is no bread on the menu," he said nothing and I agreed. Ciabatta was not the most delicious, and it costs money. I was not warned that it was necessary to pay for it, an excellent maneuver to increase the receipt.
The second course pasta with duck is just disgusting. The pasta itself is hard to spoil, but the duck tasted like a ready-made chicken that had been in the refrigerator for three days, i.e. I felt bad from this terrible taste.
I had such hopes for this institution, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment, not a foot there anymore.

I recently visited the Grand Cafe in Minsk and was extremely disappointed. I ordered an ice latte with sugar syrup, but they served me an ice latte with caramel. When I pointed out the mistake, the bartender spent ten minutes explaining that caramel is essentially sugar, and that I needed to be more specific.
Despite this unnecessary lecture tone, he eventually made me a new drink with sugar syrup, as I had originally requested. However, I was charged for both drinks. The bartender kept insisting that caramel was sugar and that the mistake was mine because I wasn't clear enough, which was both condescending and humiliating.
I was very specific in my order, but I was poorly served and charged for a drink that I did not order and did not drink. This experience was quite unpleasant, especially when the bartender tried to humiliate me in front of other customers.
In the end, the manager reluctantly returned the money to me and admitted that the mistake was on their side, but it did not improve my impression of the stay. I will not return to the Grand Cafe and certainly would not recommend this place to others.

High-quality and very tasty cooked food from the freshest, best products. The menu has changed again. Cabbage soup disappeared, farm fat appeared (very decent). The staff is as always on top - attentive, helpful, friendly. It's not cheap, but it's worth it.

We visited the restaurant at lunchtime. Strict interior, white tablecloths, glasses, serving. Quiet, rather pretentious. The restaurant is almost empty. We made an order and asked for two glasses of water. The waiter tried to sell bottled water for the price of champagne. They just asked for filtered water in two glasses, two borscht with pampushki and two cappuccino. They waited for food for a long time, apparently they wanted to give the first course at once, although borscht and pampushki are usually ready to serve. Well, we took our time, we waited. The soup is delicious, with sour cream. The dumplings are worse, the dough is quite sweet, and the oil and garlic were simply poured on a plate and they did not soak. All the courses were submitted, we had lunch, who wanted what. We drank cappuccino - it's beautiful. No questions asked. Then there was a pause of 7 minutes, waiting for the bill. After the information that the payment is made via the terminal + another 6 minutes of waiting. The service is very slow. They paid off and left. Two glasses of the ordered water were never brought to us...

I give one star only for the beautiful interior and good friendly staff.
The rest is a complete failure. They don't know how to cook in this place, the kitchen is at the level of microwave-heated garbage. The only delicious things in this cafe were coffee, juice and tea. The rest is bad.
The lack of good chefs and the inability to cook is, in general, some kind of trouble for the city of Minsk. In any restaurant, even an expensive one, they serve food in a canteen style. When will there finally be at least one competent cook in this city? It's just a disaster! And the management of this Grand Cafe can only sympathize - the interior and entrance are beautiful; the kitchen is terrible and spoils everything.

We were with friends on 18.11. Saturday, there was no hope for a table, but we were lucky and got a table, also by the window! Special thanks for that. Grand Cafe is style, beauty, service, aesthetics. Already at the entrance, the mood is set, if suddenly it was not there.
Everything is fine here from the wardrobe to the restroom. Here is the level: and once again we decided not to experiment anymore, but to go here right away! We were served by a simply amazing girl. There is nothing to find fault with.
