At the entrance, they sell food for the price of 2byn , you can feed some animals .. If you come with a child, he will be delighted, the approximate visit time is 2-3 hours!! You can take photos everywhere, but without a flash!! There is a cafe to have a snack , prices are acceptable ... Bio toilets, good condition , no gadyushnik ☺️ There is a dolphinarium and a Dino park , there is a 1BYN surcharge to the main ticket to the dinopark , I will not say I did not visit the dolphinarium .. Catamarans can be rented and take a ride on the pond, 10byn 15 minutes, many different birds..

The zoo is gorgeous, better than in Grodno (one plus for contact animals). We are glad that if there are no animals outside in cold weather, you can see through the glass from the other side.

A good place to relax with children, at first it seemed expensive to me, but after the inspection I changed my mind. Although for children under 10 years old, half the price could be done. The territory is large, there are a lot of animals, there are places to eat, and there are actually a lot of places, especially in the back of the zoo closer to the main entrance, you should not queue near the dolphinarium. It is better not to go to lunch, especially if it is hot and a lot of animals are resting.
I didn't like that all the buildings have an icon that you can't use baby strollers, especially they let us through to the exotarium, of course, they explained this by the fact that there is not enough space! But in fact, there is enough space there, everything is thought out for the disabled and it is very interesting. Therefore, dear administration, why do you limit people with young children and think for them? They will decide for themselves where they are cramped, such as in a terrarium (the building of which should have been completely given over to the toilet a long time ago, and reptiles should build a new one), and where is normal! Believe me, they themselves will not go with the baby to a place where it is cramped and stuffy!

Great zoo! At the entrance you can buy carrots and beets, buy a lot of people who want to eat - in the assortment.
If you go up from the entrance (along the left path), then at first you feel that you will not see anything special (we were in April, when many animals are in winter apartments), but this is not the case. There are excellent aviaries with lamps, birds, and predatory animals hidden in the depths, and the covered pavilion of South America is a must-visit. My favorite is zebras, which can be fed if you go to the right side of their enclosure.
There were not many people, the animals look well-groomed, even the street cats on the territory are plump and walk impressively along the paths.

And if he swallows the pieces?! Think about it, he's alive too) The cages are not all cleaned, there is a lot of dirt, and they are also small. I would combine the empty cells and make them bigger. One animal (I don't remember which one) was generally away from everyone, that's where the building with parrots and monkeys inside is, there is only one aviary under it. The animal lies in the shade, with the weather at +22 degrees, there is a constant shadow from the building and it is very cold. There was not a single lamp in the animal's enclosure, I wanted to cry looking at it. Think of an animal! You can see that they feed well, all the animals are well-fed, they definitely do not starve)) Otherwise, everything is not bad

It's a very pleasant place. We were with my daughter, and both enjoyed it.
But: the rats!!! During our two-hour stay at the zoo, we saw rats 3 times. And they're not scared! Brazenly prowling around in the daytime!
I must say that I have repeatedly visited zoos in other cities (Grodno, Kaliningrad), but I have not seen this.
It's time for the administration to take action. How many of them are there then, if they roam around during the day!

Surprisingly, the zoo has a very small territory, and a small number of animals. We expected to take a longer walk here, but ... the location is also strange, far from the main tourist avenues. But these are my quibbles. To be fair, it is very clean here, and there are no smells, like in the St. Petersburg Zoo. A separate respect that there is a dolphinarium on the territory! I really liked the trainers, most likely a husband and wife. We did a great show with dolphins and a sea lion, the children and parents were delighted!

Was it forbidden to touch a dolphin when taking pictures, despite the fact that bathing was provided!? They took pictures on our phone, very mediocre, according to the principle - just to get behind. I didn't want to spoil my mood, but I had a great desire to send them and write a complaint to the management of the Dolphinarium. The performance itself lasts 30 minutes, 15 minutes of the "coach" advertise additional purchases - 25 bel.rubles.

The zoo is quite large and has an interesting infrastructure. Quite a lot of animals. There are rare specimens. Of course, we went to see the bison and they are very powerful! And the llamas were the most fun of all, buy food at the entrance and feed them boldly, they eat right from their hands, quite carefully, but do not forget that these are wild animals. Of course, the predators were impressed, but I wanted more monkeys. In general, I highly recommend it. By the way, there is a playground for children, but I won't tell you the prices, probably, as well as the food is not cheap.

After reading the reviews, I decided to visit. I'm just shocked! Dirty! The aviaries are dirty! The general state of some kind of mismanagement! Many photos are simply not ethical! The rats are particularly terrifying... and the workers are just laughing.... When they see them and the reaction of visitors to them. There are just dozens of them in the enclosure with bears and porcupines.... The food delivery points are simply unsanitary! Buildings... lawns... The tracks... need basic maintenance! The dolphinarium has certainly raised the emotional background, but repairs are needed there too!!!

To be honest, I'm terrified. I specially came to see the capital zoo! It's not that my mood has dropped.... A wild mess and mismanagement! There are lots of rats in the enclosures with bears and porcupines!!!! There has been no cleaning in the tropical park or in the caridors... or in the rooms with animals or in the bathrooms for 5 years. Many animals are sick! The buildings are in a deplorable state! No one cleans the tiles from the grass!!! I added a star just for the dolphinarium and it needs repairs!!! But the presentation is 100% complete. Otherwise, the rating would be -5☝️it's just not ethical to post many photos!!!

Of the cons, almost nothing. Through third-party sites, the price is much more expensive for the box office. The territory is not very large, but I am spoiled by the Moscow zoo.
