An atmospheric place, suitable music is playing in the courtyard, as if you were in the Middle Ages. I liked the exhibition, there are quite a lot of exhibits, there are restored rooms, but there are also parts of the walls in a dilapidated form, which also adds to the sensations, we did not take the tour, walked ourselves, went through all possible rooms, I really liked it, I advise you to go. The parking lot is not very large, but there seemed to be places. The toilet is paid next to the castle. There is a souvenir shop inside, the price tag could certainly be lower, but there are all sorts of exclusive things.

Gorgeous. I liked it even more than the Nesvizh complex. If it is rather a palace, then it is almost a purely utilitarian defensive structure. Brutal, much smaller in size. You can climb into the former prison in the basement and on the walls. There are old pads in the prison, polished from private use) you can take a picture in them! The exposition on weapons, armor and household items is not very rich, but interesting. I was pleased with the misercordia and the six-finger. Next to the castle there is a large pond with very daring ducks)))

It's a great place!!!! I advise everyone to be initiated! If you have time, then stay in it for the night. For this there is a hotel right in the castle itself. The cafe nearby and the restaurant in the castle itself are not very bad prices for such places are very loyal. The expositions are fascinating and if you are with a guide, you can learn a lot about the history of Belarus and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Plus, be sure to walk around the territory in a circle and into the village itself .

Great. I advise everyone. There are historical installations and even a sword tournament was shown. I also advise you to visit the Church of St.Nicholas is next to the castle. The majestic fortress structure is included in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites.
Located on a hill, the castle is perfectly visible from all sides and is very beautiful from different angles. Inside the walls of the fortress there is a cozy courtyard lined with cobblestones, a museum, a restaurant and a 16-room hotel where you can really spend the night and feel like a real prince.
The castle museum is very interesting.
It is here that you can climb up the narrow spiral staircase into the defensive towers of the castle, walk through the galleries of the fortress wall, visit the wine cellars, and for the bravest, try on wooden blocks in the basement of the local prison.
There are excursions with animation elements with costumed characters, with a dance performance like at a real ball and even with tasting of national Belarusian dishes.
By the way, real balls are also held in the castle: for example, the traditional Christmas ball for adults in mid-January.
Behind the castle there is a small but very interesting functioning church.
I would especially like to note that all the staff of the castle museum and the church are very polite, friendly, they will be happy to prompt, direct and even tell you something interesting.

Be sure to visit if you are in Belarus. The journey from Minsk took about one hour. The wide highway can be driven 120 km/h. There is a park and a pond next to the castle. Souvenirs are sold on the territory of the castle and there is a cafe. There is also a hotel. You need to book a guide in advance, but you can also see everything yourself. I do not recommend watching towers, especially if you are afraid of confined spaces, this applies to stairs! It's very narrow and there are a lot of people going up and down and congestion is forming! But in general, I really liked it!!!!

It's a very beautiful place. There is a place to walk and sit. In summer, everything is especially green. They ride in a carriage with horses. Inside on the ground floor you can buy various souvenirs. On the ground floor there are restrooms, very spacious. And the museum is a separate art. It is necessary to go with a guide in order to get a lot of information for yourself and your loved ones. I advise you to visit, you will not regret it. You will be very impressed.

Keep in mind that cars with Russian license plates on the highway from Minsk are being slowed down by the traffic police and violations are being punched through the database for the last day with payment on the spot. I am delighted to visit the castle. There is a direct whiff of the brutal Middle Ages. We climbed all the towers on extremely steep stairs. There are also ceremonial halls. In one of them, the ceiling was particularly impressive. There is a restaurant of local cuisine in the cellar, delicious and satisfying!

I liked this complex even more than Nesvizh Castle, although it is smaller in size, because it has preserved many objects in their original form. The park area is beautiful. Add to this the theatrical staging of medieval battles. If you inspect the towers, then be prepared for VERY narrow (people with a dense collection may get stuck) and steep stairs with high steps.

It's worth visiting at least once, especially if the weather is sunny and warm! There is a large enough parking lot next to the castle, well-maintained territory. I visited this place for the second time. Previously , there was a wooden bridge with a dam , it was replaced with a metal one ( for me, wooden was more colorful and suitable ) . Passing by this castle, it is worth visiting its neighbor - Nesvizh Castle. I would not waste time on the other three castles in Belarus.

The time in the castle and the surrounding area flew by unnoticed! Children aged 6 and 10 liked it very much! Everyone has found a place for themselves. I liked the steep ascents to the towers, the children liked the weapons in the courtyard of the castle. Medieval armor and edged weapons are beauty and art! Where to have a tasty snack is also not a problem . The enchanting performance with the participation of the audience at the end of the day in the courtyard of the castle was something unexpected and unforgettable!

You can look in, but you haven't been thrilled. We were passing through, I don't even know if I would recommend it or not.. there is nowhere to eat, there are a couple of cafes in the area and they were occupied by local residents for some kind of events. The stall with some rolls and a doshirak was especially "impressed".

It turns out that not only in European countries (in the EU) there are locks ;) The castle is no worse than the others ;) you can fully feel the dampness and cold of unheated stone rooms, dark rooms (there are not enough existing "windows") and VERY steep stairs! 😁👍
An interesting fact is that during the Second World War there was something like a German concentration camp for Jews.

It is obligatory to visit Belarus, but I liked Nesvizh more because of the atmosphere. There are a lot of stairs inside and there were difficulties, as it was hard for my mother to visit. I was unpleasantly surprised by the need to pay for the entrance to the church nearby, and since I forgot my ticket until I reached this place, my impressions were blurred

This is the second time in the castle and if the opportunity turns up, I will come again! The first time I was alone, this time with my husband and my youngest daughter of 13 years old. Everyone liked it! My husband has guns and armor, my daughter and I have towers and the decoration of the halls. In general, Unesco will not advise anything bad. Be sure to come!

The Mir Castle Complex is a unique monument of the national culture of Belarus, included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List in 2000.
The complex includes the Mir Castle of the XVI–XX centuries, the tomb church of the princes Svyatopolk-Mirsky, the watchman's house, the ruins of the palace of the last owners, an outbuilding, a roadside chapel, an English landscape park with a pond, the remains of an Italian garden, earthen ramparts with bastions.

During the New Year holidays, the castle cannot cope with the tourist load. There are huge queues, there is an hour-long queue in the haredi, people are not allowed in their outerwear even if they pick it up. A lot of people are returning their tickets, and we did the same.
