Yesterday we visited the Mon cafe: we were delighted! There are many tables inside with air conditioning and outside. The service is friendly. There are many dishes on the menu! The portions are large! The prices are reasonable. They cook fast! And most importantly, everything is very tasty! Fried khinkali was especially surprised!

A year has passed. We are back in Gagra. The first dinner is at the Mont Cafe. It's the same boat that we love! Then, traveling around Abkhazia, we tried it in different establishments. But here it is the most delicious! The crust is thin and toasted. There is a lot of cheese and butter. You should enjoy eating)))
And yes, locals very often make takeaway orders here. You saw it for yourself. And this speaks in favor of the cafe!

They cook perfectly, khinkali is delicious and juicy. Chebureks are huge. Compotes, desserts, pans with meat - everything is successful. We have been here on vacation several times with the company: they serve quickly, you can pay by transfer.

Our favorite cafe, insanely delicious! Huge golden chebureks, juicy khinkali, a set from khachapur. Meat hodgepodge, spicy kharcho with baked flatbread, southern seasonings, national simple and hearty food. Local people eat in the cafe, there are a lot of orders with them, the chefs are excellent!

Perhaps the best cafe in Gagra! Khinkali is delicious! Solyanka in Abkhazian-ooooh (for those who like spicy)! Kharcho under a cap of bread-mmmm khachapuri-the boat is certainly good! If someone has small children, there is a good chicken soup) A good place, we recommend it! The third time in Gagra and our choice is always Mon cafe❤

Delicious khinkali, juicy. We took a portion of regular and a portion of fried ones - everything is delicious. But the staff is not friendly at all, neither hello nor thank you, everything is through their teeth, in general, it clearly needs to be worked on. Maybe it's different with the locals, but it's somehow the same with tourists. I don't know if we'll come back or not, this fact is definitely repulsive. And it was so delicious

Excellent khinkali. Meat is probably the best that I have ever tasted in general and in Gagra in particular. We didn't have time to take a photo, they fly away faster than the wind. I really liked the dough. And for the first time I tried khinkali with cheese under beer. Very tasty. The price tag is normal. Thanks to the staff for 2 wonderfully delicious evenings.

Hello everyone. We visited Gagra at the end of June, Mon cafe was found according to reviews, we really wanted to try khachapuri in Adjara. Well, as a result, a friend is in the hospital with salmonellosis. Please ask the staff to be more attentive to such dishes, observe safety measures, take care of the health of their visitors! In general, it's an ordinary cafe, we won't go there a second time, but in light of recent events, read like never before.

We had a rest in Abkhazia from 1 to 5 May 2024. I was pleased with the Mon cafe, according to reviews we found this place and did not regret it. Pleasant and courteous staff, fast service and delicious food. Wonderful cakes, fresh and very tasty. Beautiful decoration on Easter Eve.

We have been coming here for 4 years now, every time we visit Abkhazia, the best Khinkali that we have ever tasted, the taste is excellent, there is something to compare it with, you cannot find such in Russia, even in Georgia they are not so remembered as these. I highly recommend it.

Someone wrote about salmonellosis, someone wrote about a match in a cake.
I read it all after visiting this place.
For the first time in khinkali there was a piece of plastic a couple of centimeters in size! They gave it to the waiters to sort out the situation. They brought another portion of the same hinkals from their initiative, and apologized.
Everything would be fine, in this complimentary portion I almost broke a tooth on some piece of stone.
It's a pity Rospotrebnadzor does not apply.
Shut the hell up this place!
The owner, hear and figure out what your employees are poisoning guests with!
It's a shame!

A wonderful restaurant for tourists in Abkhazia. I recommend trying kharcho. It is served in a pot covered with freshly baked flatbread. There are also delicious khinkali.

We visited this institution on the recommendation of friends from the hotel, a complete disappointment. A diner from the 90s. It doesn't seem to be completely clean inside, flies are flying, visitors are smoking at the tables, the staff is rude, they have never heard of customer orientation there. We ordered khinkali and khachapuri. Khinkali is disgusting, my husband mastered three out of five pieces somehow, the child ate one piece of khachapuri, I tried khachapuri, it's solid salt, it's impossible to eat. Where so many positive reviews about this rygalovka come from is completely incomprehensible to me. Money is wasted.

We visited this institution yesterday. Judging by the reviews on the Internet and from the locals, well, the boats and khinkali are so delicious. What they took, a boat, 5 pieces of khinkali, 2 desserts (Pavlova and a basket),white sauce, lemonade, Sukhumi beer. The bill is 1400r.. The boat is average, there is not much cheese, you can't say, I can't, maybe it's worse, we haven't tried it yet, or we are spoiled, or we cook tastier in Yekaterinburg several times. Khinkali is sooo much spices, thick dough, no broth, or rather there is, but it is not enough. The sauce is tasteless. Dessert basket is delicious, lemonade is standard, beer is awesome, has not changed since 2014, my husband says that Sukhumi is tastier, I understand this question for an amateur. We left hungry, on the way we dropped into the dining room number 2, also not Wow, but this is the dining room. What can I say, the disappointment is 90%, except for the basket, everything is not very tasty(.

The hosts' request is not to be offended, but I did not like the Khinkali. There are too many spices. A huge size, thanks to which a very thick dough turned out, and even boiled. + unreasonably expensive. After the khinkalin was in the hands, an unpleasant smell of food remained on the skin, which was not washed off with soap. I eat a lot of khinkali and in various places, there is something to compare it with.

Очень понравилась эта кафешка!!! Вкусные хинкали!! Отличный кофе и подача, пирожное Павлова прям Павлова))!! Лепешки и хачапури👍🏽🔥 можно и на веранде и в зале посидеть , быстро готовят) все из под ножа!!Будете в Гагре рекомендую, да и ценник нормальный)) порция хинкали 5 штук, но они и немаленькие!!

Отличное место, очень неожиданно вкусно, если учесть расположение. Но о качестве заведения говорит в первую очередь количество гостей в зале. Гостей много всегда! Хинкали очень вкусные. Говядина + местные специи и немного зелени. Всегда свежие, тут их не греют в микроволновке, а варят для своих гостей. Достойного качества пицца. Тонкое тесто и много начинки. Десерты собственного производства.
Частично это ресторан самообслуживания, то есть блюда вам принесут, а вот за приборами придётся сходить самостоятельно.
Еду, конечно, придётся подождать, так как гостей тут всегда много, а приготовление требует времени.
Рекомендую попробовать такое чудо как хинкал в хинкале, выглядит очень эффектно

It's a nice place, but it's kind of empty. I ordered khinkali to take away. They were done quickly, but unfortunately they were not warned that they were sharp. It was delicious, but my husband couldn't eat it...But I really liked the dogwood compote.

We were in this cafe on the advice of local women, we would not have found it ourselves. But it's just fine! Kharcho is beyond praise, baking is the best! Fried smoked cheese 😅😋 The service is friendly, the only thing, we waited for 30 minutes, but it was logical- New Year's holidays, now it's like this everywhere. In general, it is very emotional! Прочитав отзывы на различных сайтах, решили побывать в данном заведении в июне 23 года. Отличное кафе! Были семьёй с маленькой дочкой.. заказали по порции хинкали жареных и обычных. Дочке взяли вареники с картофелем, к ним сметану.. томатный соус и соус тар-тар.. Само кафе по интерьеру вполне обычное для Абхазии, все очень очень простенько. Но можно с полной уверенностью сказать, что хинкали там просто высшие, просто непередаваемые вкусовые ощущения)) для особо озабоченных сразу подтверждаю, что на утро никакого отравления, по ощущениям даже лучше, чем прежде)) большое спасибо поварам и персоналу MON CAFE!!

ЩенкиПриезжаю часто в Абхазии и каждый раз с нетерпением жду, когда приду к Вам и с огромным удовольствием пообедаю, спасибо Вам огромное за такую вкусноту, хинкали на высоте, салаты, десерт, а какая подача кофе-бомба! Так держать и никак по другому, однозначно рекомендую. Хочу дополнить, были вчера 08.07.23 года, всё шикарно, брали с мужем тайский теплый салат и салат цезарь с семгой, ещё раз плюсую, ребята Вы супер, а пиццу вчера выносили стопками, причем и местные жители и отдыхающие!!!

Manta rays are a large portion, but they are completely not cooked, the meat inside is pink and there is a lot of cilantro. I love her, but even I was too much. The child ate the soup - she said it was good. A boat with cheese and egg - there is a lot of vanillin in the dough, the cheese is sour.
I sincerely hope that this is a coincidence, but exactly two hours later a severe poisoning happened to me, which mowed me down for a day. Why am I writing about a coincidence, because at that time there was also some kind of virus in Gagra. Who knows how it really was.
Three stars exclusively for chicken soup - the only finished dish.

Khachapuri boat and khinkali were gorgeous! Colored dumplings did not go to the children. We will definitely come back again. The only thing is that they are unaccustomed to the fact that they can smoke in establishments. We would have no complaints if it weren't for the children. We'll know.

Пожалуй моё любимое кафе в Гагра. Здесь очень вкусная мясная солянка, хинкали, вареники, компот. Оплата возможна карточкой, но берите наличные, иногда картридер из-за отсутствия стабильного интернета не работает. Обязательно, если будете в Гагра, сходите не пожалеете.
