The mosque is of magnificent beauty. For women, the entrance is only in an abaya and a headscarf (or a similar type of closed clothing with a hood), for men, closed shoulders and knees are mandatory. Appropriate clothing can be purchased at the shopping center adjacent to the mosque. The time of the visit is regulated only by the guide, but if you are traveling on your own, you can spend time inside and outside as much as you need. Inside, unfortunately, there is a very limited area for tourists.

Sheikh Zeid is buried on the territory of this mosque, but in order to prevent a pilgrimage to his grave, the burial place is classified! Yes, the mosque is so big that you won't find the grave yourself). The Arabs thought of everything and put souvenir shops and a food court in the underground passage to the mosque (there is even a McDonald's). The mosque itself is very, very beautiful... marble, carpets, columns, pools, everything just sparkles. Precious stones and metals were not used in the construction of the mosque, but everything turned out just great!
