Outside and inside a very beautiful building, I saw the orchestra pit for the first time. I watched the ballet Cinderella, a lot of people on stage, we really liked it.

I've been going to the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg since I was 16, so the bar was high initially, I went to the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow a couple of times.
I can say that the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus holds the bar, I was very pleased with the opera Rigoletto, amazing voices, performance, excellent scenery, beautiful hall and lobby. Just super awesome! I really liked it, it's really cool! Very pleasant employees of the theater, friendly.
I would only wish visitors to be able to behave and not interfere with real connoisseurs with their brusque conversations during the action. It's just a shame, and not the visitors got caught nearby, the aunts of dyed blondes in balenciaga came to the second row to take a selfie, and then discuss it during heartbreaking arias to the music of Verdi)

If you come to Minsk for at least a couple of days and love art, you just need to get to the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theater! I would like to note that tickets for famous works fly like hot cakes, so you should take care of purchasing tickets in advance, since now you can buy a ticket online from anywhere in the world! Enjoy watching!

We went to Carmen. The voices are strong and beautiful. There are no complaints about the place itself - everything is on top, very beautiful and cozy. You open a heavy door, step over the threshold and that's it - you're in another dimension) Marble stairs, chandeliers, scarlet velvet armchairs, all this light flair of music in the foyer, and a scene, a scene ... Follow the action, immerse yourself in the stories told by dance, marvel at the graces, plasticity, fantasies of directors, soar, dream… This time there are modern ballet performances. No pointe shoes, no tutus, barefoot, but God, how beautiful it is!!! Thank you to the theaters for being there!

This is not the first time we have visited the Bolshoi Theatre in Minsk. I really like the building itself, a beautiful and comfortable hall.

The best theater in Belarus. A wide repertoire, great performances, interesting scenery, which they do not spare money for. The acoustics are good everywhere. The interior is interesting, there are original sculptures, exhibitions are constantly held. Lots of places for cool photos! You can have a snack in the buffets and celebrate a wonderful evening. There are tickets at reasonable prices, it is better to book them in advance via the Internet. By the way, you can get on an excursion to the backstage, but only by an organized group.

I was at the opera "the magic flute". Actors, scenery, staging, voices - great! Bravo to the artists and orchestra. The hall is beautiful, majestic. On the 10th row, seats 19. 20, on the 8th row seats 16,17, comfortable viewing of the scene and text is hindered by those sitting in front. It is better to take 1 row 😄 the rows have a small height difference, take into account when buying tickets.

It's a very beautiful theater. Unusual architecture . A beautiful hall . The theater was built in 1939, and a complete reconstruction took place in 2006.

A magnificent building, spectacular! The foyer is comfortable, the audience does not interfere with each other, although there was a full house! The hall is comfortable, the seats in the stalls are downhill, not a single head in front)), the whole scene is very clearly visible! The opera was listened to by The Tsar's Bride of the Bolshoi Theater of the Russian Federation, the orchestra and singers were wonderful in their parts! And of course, the Father's part was performed by a Belarusian People's Artist, a handsome British one, thank you, we had a wonderful theatrical evening!

A wonderful theater. Beautiful architecture (both outside and inside the building). The seating arrangement in the auditorium is very convenient. A free foyer and what is important and worth adopting for Moscow theaters is the presence of three (!) buffets with many tables. The repertoire of the theater is very diverse and is designed for any most demanding taste: opera productions are both classical and staged in a modern style, with elements of the grotesque. The Bolshoi Theatre provides its own venue for performances by other theaters, thereby expanding the boundaries of creative contacts

We were with a child at a New Year's Toy Contest. Everything is perfectly organized, all the children were given nice gifts, decorated Christmas trees with toys that the children sent. Free horse carousels and food stalls were set up on the street. They decorated everything very beautifully with lights and garlands. Well done!

We were at the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" Tchaikovsky's music staged by M.Petipa. The hall is always full, tickets are difficult to get, but you need to try to buy in order to get an unforgettable experience of the performers and the orchestra playing. Mesmerizing costumes and stage design remain in the memory. The ballet looked great in one go. I recommend a mandatory visit to all guests of Minsk.

We were at the performance "The Story of Kai and Gerda" in December 2023. Tickets were taken two months in advance, through an online ticket office using the World map from Russia, which is very cool. Since there were of course no free tickets upon arrival ...
I really liked the performance, firstly, a very interesting and dynamic production, which is a big plus for opera (especially for children). Secondly, the beautiful voices of the artists and the magical acoustics of the hall - all the words were audible and there were also subtitles, which is also a plus. And thirdly, the scenery and costumes were bright and colorful, but not too vulgar!
There are several tickets in the theater, we managed to have a cup of coffee during the intermission)))
These days a New Year's fair was working in front of the theater, it created a very festive mood 🥳🥳🥳
