A magnificent building, spectacular! The foyer is comfortable, the audience does not interfere with each other, although there was a full house! The hall is comfortable, the seats in the stalls are downhill, not a single head in front)), the whole scene is very clearly visible! The opera was listened to by The Tsar's Bride of the Bolshoi Theater of the Russian Federation, the orchestra and singers were wonderful in their parts! And of course, the Father's part was performed by a Belarusian People's Artist, a handsome British one, thank you, we had a wonderful theatrical evening!

It's a very beautiful theater. Unusual architecture . A beautiful hall . The theater was built in 1939, and a complete reconstruction took place in 2006.
I watched Rigoletto. Amazing music and the voices of the soloists .

My favorite theater, I try to visit it as often as possible. The artists are amazing, the performances are great. I love this theatrical atmosphere. The only drawback is the prices of champagne and sandwiches, well, they are absolutely cosmic. And the prices for productions are always reasonable.

We were with a child at a New Year's Toy Contest. Everything is perfectly organized, all the children were given nice gifts, decorated Christmas trees with toys that the children sent. Free horse carousels and food stalls were set up on the street. They decorated everything very beautifully with lights and garlands. Well done!

I really liked the Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre.Inside and out, especially the different monuments and the park area around.I was at the opera La Traviata, the performers performed beautifully.The only thing that overshadowed a little was that the director of the production decided to modernize the main characters in jeans, but most of all she ate from Poppy seeds, because these are rich noble people, how can they even nowadays eat fast food from cardboard boxes and glasses?

We were at the ballet "Sleeping Beauty" Tchaikovsky's music staged by M.Petipa. The hall is always full, tickets are difficult to get, but you need to try to buy in order to get an unforgettable experience of the performers and the orchestra playing. Mesmerizing costumes and stage design remain in the memory. The ballet looked great in one go. I recommend a mandatory visit to all guests of Minsk.

But the objective disadvantage is that subtitles are not visible from all places, I was on the dress circle in the 5th row, they are very difficult to look out for, and this greatly hinders. I don't understand why this drawback is not eliminated, because you can make a screen above the stage. This is the only, but very significant disadvantage.

This is the first time in this theater. You won't get into the Big One in Moscow (both the prices and the difficulty of buying tickets), but here tickets in the stalls (we had 13 rows) are 3000 rubles (Russian). The magnificent St. Petersburg troupe and the Eichmann ballets!!!! Awesome

We were at the performance "The Story of Kai and Gerda" in December 2023. Tickets were taken two months in advance, through an online ticket office using the World map from Russia, which is very cool. Since there were of course no free tickets upon arrival ...
I really liked the performance, firstly, a very interesting and dynamic production, which is a big plus for opera (especially for children). Secondly, the beautiful voices of the artists and the magical acoustics of the hall - all the words were audible and there were also subtitles, which is also a plus. And thirdly, the scenery and costumes were bright and colorful, but not too vulgar!
There are several tickets in the theater, we managed to have a cup of coffee during the intermission)))
These days a New Year's fair was working in front of the theater, it created a very festive mood 🥳🥳🥳

Big one! We were at the Bayadere, just a delight. The theater is in perfect condition, the level of ballet is at a height, the prices are simply ridiculous. It is better to take higher seats for ballet, a mezzanine or a balcony, otherwise you cannot see the perspective.

Finally we got to the Big One, now it's clear why it's called that. They put on a Magic Flute, I got the highest pleasure from watching it - the orchestra, the acting, the scenery - I liked everything. Inside there is a rich decoration with gilding, there were no queues, the staff is friendly - they will tell you what you need, if necessary, they will orient you. When the hall was fully seated, there was practically no queue for the buffet during the intermission, not very expensive alcohol. We had a great time!

Of course, what can you write about the Bolshoi Theater of Belarus? I think it's clear that this theater did not leave negative emotions, but only the most vivid impressions and the desire to visit it many more times. The orchestra is beyond praise, they play in a way that takes your breath away, and the melody will stay in your head for a long time. Ballet dancers are doing something incredible! They dance, it seems as if butterflies are flying around the stage, dynamism, grace and "lightness" of movements immediately show the professionalism of the dancers. Everything is done very beautifully inside, the staff is pleasant and polite; the buffets have the right assortment for the theater, and most importantly, the price, quality and taste of food and drinks are quite adequate (except for coffee, of course, it is not made there by a barista, but by a coffee machine, because of this it is tasteless).
