We were in the UAE for the first time, and the acquaintance began in the Emirate of Fujairah, at the Rotana Hotel.
In general, I liked everything, the hotel, of course, needs a slight cosmetic update-although I am not much spoiled by chic repairs, but maybe it will be important to someone: in some places the tiles are cracked, somewhere the corners on the walls are slightly scuffed. In general, these are the usual operational details.
The staff is friendly, literally 1-3 people speak Russian. Everyone understands English, even in broken colloquial it is quite possible to explain.
We took a meal plan: breakfasts and dinners. The food is delicious, but not varied at all. There are not many positions, and almost the same dishes were served every day. Maybe these are the features of the low season-we went from July 14 to July 19, 24. We had lunch across the street-in an Iranian kebab shop (very tasty kebabs).
The pool is small, but there are enough sun beds, the sea in July is very violent-there are no breakwaters, there also seem to be plenty of sun beds.
The room was cleaned every day, they put water in 2 bottles per person.
There is emptiness in the surroundings, there is nowhere to go.
A vacation in Fujairah is probably suitable for people who are not in a hurry, and just want to relax by the sea - without any animations (which, by the way, is not).
We were without a child, but it seemed to us that the children would be bored there-although it largely depends on the temperament of the child.

This is the best vacation of my life! A great and high-quality vacation! Russian Russian, excellent rooms, food, ocean, attitude to Russian people, the staff speaks and understands Russian. Magnificent green well - groomed territory . If you need a high-level aesthetic vacation, then you are here. It is quiet here in the evenings, there is quiet live music on the beach in restaurants, there are no violent discos and noisy animators. Only a magnificent garden, birdsong and the sound of the ocean, as well as excellent service. I will definitely return to this hotel!!!

There are not enough sunbeds on the beach, towels are constantly removed from the sunbeds if you leave for more than 30 minutes, while your things are left lying on the beach! Children are given ice cream once a day, one ball and under the painting!! Alcohol is poured from some bags into bottles, and then poured into glasses! There is nothing to eat on the beach, it is not provided! Many thanks to the girls who do the room cleaning! Everything is fine in this hotel, except for the gathering of crows and evening entertainment. I'm shooting a star for this. It's the first time I've seen so many crows abroad. In addition to the constant croaking, they also take food out of their bags. In the morning it is impossible to put a plate and have breakfast on the veranda. We had a rest in March 2024. Beach, territory, rooms for 5! But the food is for three. There seems to be a choice, but absolutely everything is tasteless. Immediately after this hotel, we went to the Ramada JBR Hotel in Dubai, where the food turned out to be ten times better and tastier.

An ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Thoughtfully, the hotel has a lot for convenience. Excellent cuisine. The restaurants are clean. The room is comfortable and clean, everything is there.

Fujairah is🔥. Rotana is a decent hotel for a good unforgettable vacation.

Not a very good price-quality ratio.
That is, at a high cost - an extremely mediocre service and the food could be tastier. For example, pizza Margarita is prepared on purchased cakes and at the same time it costs 75 dirhams (~2000₽)
The hotel itself is new, spacious rooms and a good bed. Breakfast is acceptable with delicious coffee. For lunch and dinner, you could always find something for children (pasta, rice, vegetables, potatoes, salad, fish) and for adults. My children are fastidious in food, but they were always full.
I liked the presence of rescuers and their work, they follow very well. The sea and the beach are also wonderful

Great hotel! In my opinion, the advantages are as follows: 1) Really green territory. Since this hotel assumes a beach holiday, which means that you will spend most of your time on the territory of the hotel, this moment becomes very important and everything is fine here. Keeping so much greenery in such a climate is expensive and few hotels bother with it so much, but there is a place to walk and enjoy the local fauna. 2) Excellent cuisine. There are a lot of different dishes and constantly replenished stocks, therefore, returning from an excursion or from the city, you will not have to finish the leftovers. 3) Clean rooms. Maybe we were so lucky, or maybe not, but everything around the hotel is clean and tidy. 4) There are employees who know English both at the reception and in the restaurant.

We rested from April 12 to April 26. The hotel has everything for RELAXATION. Those who come to "have fun" or do "yoga" ("to get rid of") - there were also such - it's boring. The cuisine is diverse, although without "twists", we haven't even tried everything in 15 days. There are also various sea fish and other seafood, but the fish is sometimes a little dry, and seafood is in high demand and quickly runs out. Meat - 3-4 types of dishes, there were a lot of tender lamb on the holiday, poultry - 2-3 types. Fruits - the assortment is not great - green and red apples, plums, pears, oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, bananas, watermelons (!), melons (still green - it's not the season for them yet). Sweet - not everyone has even tasted it in 15 days! Drinks - juices (even from cranberries!), tea (in bags of excellent English), various types of coffee, milk, alcohol. Paradox: the country is Muslim, there is no pork in the set of "meat", but alcohol - like in a good bar in St. Petersburg, regardless of religious affiliation - beer is different, red, white, pink wines (very tasty!), champagne, vodka, etc., even whiskey and tequila! Business! The kitchen, though without Parisian "twists", but for us there is everything that is needed, even too much for the weight!
At the beginning of the holiday, there were 85 percent of Russian-speakers. The Eid al-Adha holiday has become less - 50 percent. After the holiday, more Germans appeared, behaved modestly.
The territory, the beach, the sea (ocean) is not Phuket, but it is normal for recreation. On the beach, a wish: to put at least some kind of clock (preferably electronic digital) and draw at least the temperature of water and air on a tablet, lifeguards on the beach will cope with this task.
In conclusion, THANKS to the management and other staff for the rest! We will come again in the autumn.

Among the advantages I want to note: a Russian-speaking reception (a girl and a man from the CIS countries), a waiter Sherali from Mozaika (a buffet restaurant), a bartender Bahir (works at a beach bar or pool bar, also knows Russian), the sea was cold for me, but people swam freely at 23 degrees. Heated pools, children 26-27, adults 25-26, in the adult pool there are different depths up to 150cm. Next to the pool, rescuers who, in case of injury, will bring you to first aid, where they will treat you and stick a plaster, they also whistle in case of diving into the pool. Rooms are cleaned, towels are changed, tea, coffee, various sets are present. It is better to take ultra all inclusive, you will have ice cream, 6 restaurants, special alcoholic cocktails that differ from the usual all inclusive. Of the minuses, I can note the greed of some staff for alcohol in cocktails, but this is not critical. They write in reviews about the monotony of the kitchen - do not believe it, the food is very diverse and delicious, there is for any person, even I liked it, although I am very picky.

WiFi throughout the hotel works well, it is free, 2. 85% of guests are Russian-speaking, the hotel staff also speak Russian, a lot of families with children. Swimming pool for children 3 pcs. The slide is open all day. There is a children's club, you can give a child for the whole day from 09 to 19, there are even consoles there. There is simply no animation at all. We had half board booked. In the bathroom, shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, shower cap and cotton pads. There was a piece of soap when checking in, then I had to ask for it, as well as toilet paper. We were only allowed water in the room or restaurant. They didn't give it in bars. The maid was asked to add, so she always left 10-12 bottles of 0.5 each. Coffee, dry cream, tea were also in the room. Slippers, bathrobes, scales, an ironing board and an iron, only the cord is short. The mattress is too hard, and the pillows are too puny. There is not enough dryer on the balcony, some kind of perch. There wasn't enough space.
I liked the food, beef every day, fish, chicken. The sweet is delicious. Even though the choice of everything was small, there was always something to eat. The juices were orange, apple and pineapple, and there was also rose water and Arabic for dinner. Coffee in the coffee machine. Ice cream was given to the child every other day, such as half board-it is not allowed, on the days of issue, if there was a guy, he did not refuse the child.
On the first day, the sea was a disgusting green color, some algae or plankton, besides, it was cold for me at the end of March, 25 degrees was written on the infotable. The beach is normal, but there are not enough umbrellas, there are a lot of sun beds. There is warm water in the shower, but there are not enough changing booths, I had to go to the toilet. The sea was clear on day 2 and in the future too. The bottom was visible near the buoys, sometimes it was up to the throat and shallow near the buoys. You can walk on foot. Also as entertainment, fishermen with a catch of fish. The water in the pools was also 25-26 degrees, one slide. The pool and sun beds are cleaned diligently every morning.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of November! It was our honeymoon, we planned and thought about everything in advance (as congratulations, we were given funny tasteless dried cakes). What did you get in the end?! Utter disappointment! For an additional fee, we improved the room-we took a sea view. Looking at the sea was, one might say, our only entertainment at the hotel. It's very boring, there's no music on the pool. 2 girls barely sang a couple of times. You won't stay hungry for food, but the cuisine is monotonous, no seafood. The territory is clean, it can be seen that a streamlet used to flow, but for some reason it dried up, the pool is clean, everything is very sparse, the fountain is not a fountain at all at the entrance. The rooms are cleaned well and every day, but late after 16:00. In the evening, after dinner, lights out in the entire hotel. The beach is nice, the water is pleasant, BUT !! Jackdaws a huge number of jackdaws! they are not being chased, it is very strange, they are in the way! We swam to Snoopy Island, it's nearby - we saw reef sharks and beautiful fish there, it was interesting, it's scary to swim next to a shark. To sum up- No more in rotana, no more in Fujairah!
