Not a bad hotel, near the city center. Excellent location, parking, restaurant.
But there are problems, there is only one porridge and we started having breakfast at 9.10 and of course both porridge and scrambled eggs are practically cold. Good beds and bed linen, but the size of the blankets is too small, and if it was cool on the night of May 7 to 8, the size of the blankets could be wrapped up.

The location is super close to the center, the rooms are good with refrigerators and TV, the service is top-notch, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are cleaned every day, the breakfast is not very bad, the atmosphere is very cozy. Next time, my family and I will definitely stay here.

The worst hotel I've been to in many years of traveling.
It has been in need of repair for a long time.
A bed with a sagging mattress.
The air conditioner (central) hums very loudly, does not cool down, plus 26 in the room.
There is no safe in the room.
What is called shampoo (in a large container attached to the bathroom wall) is diluted with water to the state of water. Probably out of economy.
The breakfasts are not just meager, I would say miserable. On the second day, I just didn't go, I had breakfast at the nearby cafe Brioche Buffet (super, I recommend it!)
Deserves praise except that the girl at the reception - the check-in was instant.
I paid for a room, mockingly called a suite, about 9 thousand Russian rubles per day. He's not worth even a third of that money.
I advise you to choose another hotel in this beautiful, kind city.

Excellent location, within walking distance of Oktyabrskaya metro station, railway station, Svobody Square, Lenin Square, Premier's T/y, Budbashi restaurants, Cornflowers bar Rock'n'roller. The place is quiet, near a small pedestrian street. The room is clean, the food (breakfast) is on the level. The only thing I want to note is the noise of the hood in the room. Perhaps it was peculiar to our number. The appeal was told that nothing could be done, this is the normal state of the system. Let's leave it to the conscience of the technical staff. Next time we are ready to stay in the same hotel.

The location is great. The old town is 3 minutes on foot, GUM, the red Church - all within walking distance. Clean, not tired, guest. Not noisy, not crowded. We stayed for two nights without breakfast. It was cool in the rooms, they came to the reception, the employee said that they could not make the batteries warmer, but offered heaters, it became much warmer. The plumbing is not dead, the water pressure is good, you need to wait until the water merges a little and warms up. I recommend the hotel and if we go to Minsk again, I will book it.

The rooms are very tired, but the furniture is interesting. There is a kettle, but no cups. There are plenty of towels, but no toothbrushes. They send for water to the cooler, where the water is not cold, not hot. The remote from the TV does not work.
At night, there is a regular (every 5-10 minutes) loud electric hum that keeps you awake. You just fall asleep, after 5 minutes of wake-up, do not sleep! The body is already counting down the next 5 minutes so as not to be too scared. I turned off everything, pulled out the key card, and it still buzzes regularly. I couldn't sleep, I moved out.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It couldn't be better. The very center, while there is no hustle and bustle. The rooms are good: high ceilings, bright, lots of air, comfortable bed. Clean, cleaning every day. The breakfasts correspond to the 3-star level. The staff is not intrusive, they do everything clearly and quickly. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Of the problems :
There is no parking , there is no noise isolation at all , the neighbors are sitting in your room , the shower leaves much to be desired (maybe it was like that in our room), Wi-Fi just didn't work in the morning , the answer to my question about the Internet was simple - be patient , I also don't have Internet (the Internet never appeared before our eviction).

An excellent hotel in the very center of Minsk. Within walking distance of the Upper Town with the famous Zybitskaya walking street with cafes and bars , the cathedral with organ music, the red courtyard, the Kommunarka cafeteria with inexpensive coffee, Cornflowers with Belarusian cuisine, circus, theater and Gorky Park with a Ferris wheel....Great location. The hotel itself is a cultural monument, 4-storey, with gorgeous stained glass windows of Minsk on the stairs, intimate and cozy. A nice bonus is its own parking. The hotel is equipped with 2 elevators. The staff is very courteous. Upon request, we were provided with a standard room with a balcony on the 3rd floor. In the room there is a hairdryer, dispensaries with soap and gel, slippers. There is no kettle and tea accessories, but there is a cooler on the floor. Soft mattresses. The room is quiet. There was plenty of hot water. There were 2 days. On the 2nd day, the maid came to clean. The room area is small, but due to the height of the ceiling (4 m), the room does not seem small. The furniture is in a classic style.
Next to the hotel (on the right, if you face the entrance) is an Italian restaurant with real Italian delicious pizza, pasta and ice cream at affordable prices.
They didn't take breakfast at the hotel, and they didn't go to the hotel restaurant. Opposite the hotel, next to the prosecutor's office, a cafe with eclairs and breakfasts is open from 7.30. A menu to choose from. Delicious.
The Wi-fi worked perfectly. Upon arrival in Minsk, we switched our phones to flight mode, used applications only at the hotel, it was enough for us, we did not need communication in the city. We moved around the Maps map. Me in the phone, which is powered by gps, pre-uploaded a map of Minsk. In the same application, routes were built in advance. Very convenient.
We moved around the city by car. We were lucky: there were holidays, and parking was free.
They were calculated everywhere with the World map. In the shopping center next to the national library (there is an observation deck on the 23rd floor of the library), they withdrew some money to leave tips in restaurants, although this can also be done with a card. We limited ourselves to shopping in the same shopping center. Brands that have left us are represented there.
I want to return to Minsk. We haven't seen much yet, but we've "caught" the atmosphere. The plans include trips to Nesvizh and Mir castles, Grodno.
I definitely recommend the hotel.

I really enjoyed staying in this place. We took a double room. The stained glass windows on the stairs are impressive, as a separate kind of beauty! The breakfast is a regular European buffet. But ask the lady for help in making coffee, because the coffee machine is sometimes naughty)) the rooms themselves are clean, cleaning and changing towels can be done every day. The restoration of the building opposite was a little upset, which is why noisy construction work has been going on there since 8 a.m., but you can't hear it with the windows closed. Special thanks for the coolers on the floors! I completely forgot to buy water, but here is a real salvation.
The location of the hotel is great for tourists-you can get anywhere on foot.
In general, the price and quality of the impressions received are beyond praise. Thanks!

Great location in the very center, a quiet street with a couple of coffee shops, an Italian restaurant and an eclair room.
The room is spacious with good sound insulation but:
We checked in after 21:00 and the floor in the room was dirty!!! This is the first time I've come across this, given that the hotel positions itself at three stars***
There are breakfasts in the hotel, but in my subjective opinion it is cheaper to eat in nearby cafes. Once we went for breakfast, the choice is good, but for 60 rubles you can have dinner in a restaurant.
The staff is friendly and polite, we had no problems, leaving the room for a walk hung a sign that needed cleaning, cleaned better than it was during check-in.
In terms of location, I definitely recommend it.

Every time we come to Minsk, we stay at this hotel. Why? Firstly, it is cozy, with its own atmosphere, calm, quiet, with a very comfortable bed and pillow. Secondly, the excellent location: near the Old Town, walking is not too much) Thirdly, both in the hotel itself and nearby, or in the building itself, you can have a delicious meal) Fourth, there is a wonderful Art salon in the building where you can buy beautiful author's works of ceramics. And there are also fifths, sixths, etc.

One of the disadvantages is the noise on the street.
We were from Friday to Sunday and the street on which the hotel stands is a walking street, as well as nearby nearby streets too. On the one hand, it is very convenient that there are many cafes to choose from. But at night, companies start coming out of these cafes and singing songs with might and main or just walking down the street loudly drunk and talking)...if you are used to sleeping in earplugs, then this is not a problem at all, but if not and the window is slightly ajar, then this may be a real problem. Also at 7-45 on Sunday you can "enjoy" the bell ringing. In general, everything is fine, but extraneous sounds can spoil your whole impression.

I visited this hotel in March 2024, stayed for one night. The hotel is very nice, the room is cozy, the bed is comfortable (this is very important for me), I did not turn on the TV in the room, so I do not know if it works or not.
Excellent location, a 5-minute walk from the Town Hall, in the other direction is the Vasilki chain restaurant.

Unfortunately, there were not the most pleasant impressions of the hotel. There are minuses and pluses. I stayed there a few years ago, everything was fine, the level of the hotel was above three stars. This year, the level of goodies has decreased. The rooms are clean, cleaning every day, towels are changed every day, but the room itself needs repair. Problems with hot water, to take a shower, the water must be drained for 10 minutes, otherwise wash in cool water. The air conditioner is very noisy, and on cool September nights, it is not needed. The pillows are terrible, but you can ask for another one to sleep comfortably. But the mattresses are great. I advise you to take shampoos, conditioners and shower gels with you, in the rooms, in the bathroom there is only liquid soap and shampoo of unknown origin, I did not dare to use it. There is no drinking water in the room, but there is a cooler in the hallway. A kettle is only available on request at the reception. There are disposable slippers in the room, if that's important to you. The staff is very pleasant, polite and helpful. The breakfasts correspond to three stars in diversity. The food is all fresh and delicious. A big plus is the location of the hotel, the very center of Minsk.

There are many cafes in the area, but almost everywhere you need to book a table for dinner (this is especially acute on weekends). In the morning, most cafes start working from 10 o'clock and you can have breakfast only in the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. There is a private parking for about 8-9 cars. Located in the courtyard, passage through the arch. Parking is paid in front of the hotel and is almost always full. The staff will answer all questions, but they will not offer anything additional (including breakfast) on their own)) The building has great potential, beautiful stained glass windows on the stairwells, and an elevator. The room has beautiful, massive furniture as in the photo. The garbage was taken out of the room every day. The bathroom includes liquid soap, gel shampoo, shower cap, disposable (transparent) slippers, three towels per person. The only big minus is the cleanliness of the room. The carpet has been asking for dry cleaning for a long time, it is very dusty - the room was extremely poorly prepared for the arrival of guests.

But there is room to grow. In the "common area", during the entire stay, when exiting the elevator, a cot and a vacuum cleaner were met on the floor - this should be removed to a separate room, and not shown to the guests. In the room, it is unclear why the table is covered with a transparent thick film. There is already a slight trace of time in the bathroom. And I would like a few little things at this price, for example, disposable slippers. In general, a little bit better.
But these are quibbles, but what really didn't like: the lack of an understandable locking of the room doors from the inside. The only locking mezzanine is combined with a lock that opens with a key card. And it seems that the staff can open it even if you are inside, which does not cause a feeling of comfort.

We chose this hotel based on reviews and proximity to the historical part of the city. I must say right away - we didn't regret anything. The three of us stayed - my wife and I and my teenage son. Single room with a folding chair. Slippers, towels, kettle, coffee, teas, mini fridge - all available. The safe is only at the reception, but this is not a big deal, since cameras are installed on all floors. A slight inconvenience - they gave out one electronic key for everyone. The room is very cozy and clean. The staff is very friendly, they showed me where to park the car in the courtyard. If someone will check in with their car, it is worth considering - it is necessary to drive along the street where the hotel is located a little further from its entrance, there will be a check-in to the arch on the left, after the arch - turn left and go to the barrier. Ideally, if someone comes to the reception in parallel and asks to raise the barrier ;) MIR cards are accepted for payment, with conversion into local rubles. There is a small selection of souvenirs in the lobby. We were pleased with the breakfasts. It doesn't seem to be very diverse, but you can't go hungry - porridge, cereal-milk, cheese /meat cuts, potato dishes (where without it), sausages, fried chicken, a couple of types of salads, fresh vegetables, sweets. Naturally, tea and coffee. My son had a birthday on the day of departure, we left the hotel early, so we immediately asked about a compliment / gift and a dry ration for the road. We were pleasantly surprised when, in the evening before leaving, our son was handed a large cake, as well as three bags of dry food. Their filling was especially striking - hot sandwiches, tea, coffee, yoghurts, water, juice, sugar, glazed cheeses, spoons and sticks for stirring sugar. Not all hotels in decaying Europe packed us up for the road like this :). In the whole ideal story, there were two small disadvantages - a leaking sink (water dripped a little on the floor all the time, I had to keep a towel in this place) and sound insulation of the rooms - the neighbors could hear perfectly through the outlet. A huge plus is, as I said, the location. Within walking distance of the Upper Town, GUM, TSUM, Dinamo Minsk stadium, a huge number of restaurants. There is also a popular and well-known Rock'n'roller bar nearby. But about this in another review :). Thanks to all the staff of the Garni Hotel for the time spent with you! A great place for its price.

We came to the Minsk Half Marathon, stayed for 3 nights. Very convenient 5 min. walk to the start. The hotel is located in the city center. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants around. Everything is close, the Bolshoi Theatre is a 10-minute walk away. There is free parking in the courtyard of the hotel! The interiors are epic :) Very high ceilings - wood trim, wooden furniture. There is a bathtub. The mattress is soft, I'm used to hard ones, but my back didn't hurt.
