This is a landmark place for those who are not indifferent to the history of our State. Despite the overlap of destinies, it is desirable to visit the borders there and understand how the country's leadership lived and for whom. And not to listen to malicious people with nonsense about palaces and peacocks. The end is always the same, it is funny to understand that when they came to describe the property after the death of the leader, according to the inventory it was: old surtyuk, new surtyuk, non-standard...and I would also add: and the peaceful sky above your head for 70 years, and not like now, property is shared by relatives through all channels....fu

We visited this interesting place in October 2021, but we are not talking about Stalin's dacha itself, but about an abandoned two-story house in which all his guests stayed - the general's chambers.
This house is buried in dense jungle thickets, there are some underground passages near a large rock, we found a very abandoned fountain and a huge wooden sword near the rock.
We always had the feeling that we were in Chernobyl in Pripyat. Just look at these photos.
Even cows enter this building on the second floor. Surprisingly, there is a watchman living in this ruin, and water flows in different bathrooms.
There are no words to describe, see the photos themselves. It is literally 10 steps from Stalin's dacha itself.

You can take a look once. One cottage is quite enough, the rest are about the same. The guide will talk for 10 minutes. And everything.

You need to be a fan of Stalin to like something there. A boring story in 5-7 minutes and an inspection of an incomprehensible building with Soviet furniture. I didn't see anything interesting there, nothing at all.

It is a pity that they do not try to preserve this beauty. The park is overgrown, it's gone. The security house is in poor condition, the kitchen is closed. The cottage itself is being destroyed

An atmospheric place, beautiful views, an underground reservoir is located nearby, a place in desolation, entry at the end of September 2022 cost 50 rubles. The museum employee left an hour before closing time, so they didn't go inside.

This is a place where abandonment is most likely beneficial. Almost everything has been preserved to this day in the same form as it was, with the exception of plumbing and upholstered furniture, which allows you to touch the life of the great arbiter of fate.

A shameful tour.
We expected more.
For 200 rubles per person, a woman will tell you a few main points in a voice that is not the most interested. What has survived to this day , how many times Stalin visited this particular cottage, a couple of building features and that's it. You go to look at several rooms yourself.
Everything is in disrepair . There is nothing particularly interesting, except for the pretty views

A cottage is like a cottage, in principle nothing special, you can go once, you even need to. The view that opens from the balcony is divine. We were without a guide, I think it will be more interesting with the tour.

I really liked the cottage. The entrance is 50p at the guard post and 100p to the guide for the story, this year they promised that there would be a reconstruction of Stalin's dacha. Then not only the upper part of the building should appear, but also the lower one, where a cinema and a billiard room will be restored.

We visited this cottage in March. It was built in 1947, not far from the New Athos Monastery.
Now for 100 rubles you can see 3 bedrooms with furniture, 2 toilets, a study with a telephone, and a check-in room-a dining room with dishes. All the bedrooms are almost identical, the only difference is the type of wood from which the furniture is made. It is said that when the leader went to bed, there were mannequins on the beds in other rooms. Sometimes mannequins were installed in all the beds, and Joseph Stalin himself slept on the couch. The ceiling height is more than 5 meters, interesting mirrors that visually increase height. It looks pretty grim. It is said that during the existence of the dacha, Stalin visited 5 times, but lived for several months and worked, so the dacha had a government connection. There are two underground passages from the territory of the cottage: one leads to the city beach, and the other to the railway station. I would say that
By modern standards, Stalin rested more than modestly, but the place itself is luxurious. I liked it more than the cottage on the Ritz. It is very interesting to walk around the territory.
I recommend.

It was amazing that this one - one of the five dachas of the "father of peoples" in Abkhazia - is located on a mountain, and even not far from the monastery.
The house, in my opinion, needs restoration: it would be nice to touch up and renovate everything. The guide to this object quickly spoke the text in just 10-15 minutes, but it's a pity... We, the tourists, were allowed to sit in the room where the meetings of the leader with subordinates usually took place. Opposite the table is his favorite painting of the Siberian landscape as a reminder of the result of disobedience, they say.
We also visited all three bedrooms of the owner of the cottage (no one knew exactly where and when he would sleep), a terrace, an office with a telephone.
It is probably interesting to see this residence (however, without much frills) of a man who ruled a huge country for almost 30 years.

This summer I visited this museum...I don't know about others, but I had the feeling that I had already been here, but in another life.I was familiar with the furniture, dishes and even curtains that I once got from my mom.. of course, the building requires external repairs, but the moment comes that when the air humidity is high, the floors do not creak, the doors too, and the furniture seems to be only from the store..these are the hands of craftsmen and the quality of raw materials, everything that Abkhazia is rich in, everything was used for its protection

Stalin's dacha is located in a quiet place. A little neatness is missing. It would be great to see the mummified Stalin, to eat in the restaurant the dishes that the "leader of the people" loved. There are not enough items of that time in the rooms: newspapers on the table, dishes, clothes, etc.

An interesting place, I don't want to think about what decisions the owner had to make when he was there. But it creates a sense of functionality honed for safety in every detail. Furniture, cabinets, beds, curbstones, although made of precious woods, but their design could be found in ordinary houses... I had a sideboard at my grandmother's cottage one-on-one, by the look of it)))) and there were no golden toilets and golden paintings, although the whole building was worth it normally... I liked it, it was interesting.
