The museum will be very useful for those who are interested in technology and history. The exposition is rich in various examples of railway equipment and steam locomotives. And in some locomotives, you can even climb into the driver's cabin. But due to the fact that the museum is open-air, the safety of the exhibits suffers, there is a lot of rust and dust. So it's better to dress more simply.
But overall the impression is very good, the children really liked it!

One of the best museums of steam locomotives and rolling stock. The main types of steam locomotives are presented. You can enter the cabin of a steam locomotive and a diesel locomotive. I really liked it. There is a parking lot and a small cafe. The museum is near the city center. Convenient!

I liked the museum. I went through all the exhibits. Different trains from past eras and the not-so-distant past. The exhibits are in excellent condition, painting and minor repairs were carried out with me.
Of course, the carriages were opened so that you could walk through from the inside and see the situation.

An excellent museum dedicated to the history of railway technology. There are a large number of exhibits on the tracks, many of them are active. Several steam locomotives/locomotives are open to the public. You can climb into the cabin, twist what is still spinning (not unscrewed). In general, I liked the museum. In terms of time, 40-60 minutes is quite enough.

Perhaps the most interesting museum of railway equipment that I have seen in the CIS. And in Europe. And in Asia. And in Africa. And I haven't been to America or Australia, so xs.
It is mandatory for everyone who is "in the topic" to visit. And it will not be superfluous for everyone else: you can sit in the driver's cab, and not even in one. It's a pity the old compartments-the reserved seats are closed, but you can look out the windows. There are also unique exhibits there in general, but I will not write - it is better to visit and see.

There is not enough dynamics and activity for children. You can't go inside, except for a couple of exhibits. You can't even climb on some of them (there are signs hanging). They could have opened some wagons. Children are climbing everywhere anyway and in places it looks dangerous. How much joy children have when they can sit in the driver's cabin. They could have made some kind of interactive, they don't work for free.
The parking lot is small and gets clogged up already in the first hour after opening (thanks for having it at all and not having to pay). The cafe is so-so, not for lunch.

An interesting, authentic place. I was there a long time ago, about 7 years ago, but I really liked the place. It will be interesting for those who are interested in railway equipment in general and history. Because after seeing what kind of equipment drove on rails 50-100 years ago, you can really immerse yourself in the past and even touch it. Some museum exhibits can even be climbed inside.

Unfortunately, I didn't get it. I did not know the opening hours in advance and did not take into account the availability of days off on Monday and Tuesday. I will definitely visit on my next visit, but for now I was content with the view through the grid / fence bars. But even this viewing format impressed and left positive impressions. I imagine what they will be like at the moment of close visual contact. Anyway, come on, dear museum, I'll be back!!!!!!!

It's a great place. We drove by many times and found time to go. They didn't spare a second. There is a place to climb. There is a place to look. I would like to see more open spaces or at least from the street to see the equipment of antique wagons and trains. The ticket is inexpensive. Preschool children are free of charge. We were especially pleased with the railway installation in the museum building. I recommend it to you.
