An absolutely adorable cat space! It is small, but very cozy. For a nominal fee, you can drink tea with cookies and chat with the fluffy staff. The seals are calm and friendly, many of them willingly go to their hands. And you can also get a furry friend here! So do not miss the opportunity to replenish your family with a new resident, especially since all the seals are rescued by volunteers, vaccinated and very well-mannered. The cat Leaf in particular stole my heart.

A kind and necessary place, inside you can meet a variety of beautiful seals, of course, as well as many images and sculptures of seals, and also caring people caring for wayward four—legged creatures. The owner knows everything about each of his furry guests, he will be happy to talk with you. The entrance fee is symbolic. Coffee and sweets are served here, there are play areas, and souvenirs can be purchased. And they also try to find a home for every cat here. I was glad to visit such an amazing museum in Belarus. I wish you good luck in your difficult task!

The best place for inspiration, tea drinking, spiritual relaxation and much more…
Real cat lovers will appreciate this place, regardless of the smells of the four-legged habitat and will have a great time
I will note the history, in the form of many paintings, stored right on the walls of the Museum
Leave your unique drawing on the wall of the museum and do not forget to mark the real date of your stay, it will be a good reason to return!
Well, remember that the places for new paintings will soon run out😉

On the one hand, it is a very cool place with cute animals, almost everyone gives themselves a pat, even there is a small dog that greets everyone. Plus the opportunity to pick up a cat from there and thereby help the animal.
On the other hand, the smell, hygiene, and in summer the lack of air conditioning, animal fatigue. It is clear that they do not really like such abundant attention, especially from children.
Such places have the right to live, but I don't think we should be allowed to interact so actively with these animals.

Visited on July 11, 2024. A wonderful place! Cute pot-bellied kittens who are being treated and sterilized, lots of cute feline pieces and children's drawings. In the reviews, everyone was scared by the smell, but I almost didn't feel it. Windows are open everywhere, fans are working, the seals are clean and well-groomed. They were lazy and graceful from the heat. I will recommend this place to all my friends 👍👍👍

Nothing unusual, but it perfectly complements a walk through the center with pleasant emotions: pet the seals and look at funny and funny drawings. Each mustachioed man has his own story. Two aged seals were rescued from euthanasia. The institution is looking for employees. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Everything is not bad, and the staff are cute, and pleasant, and the cats are wonderful paws!!!! 🐱😺🐈
BUT there are two disadvantages 😾 one is the smell, it's just terrible and can be heard from the first floor of the building 😖 and the second is not a small price 🤑 for 1 hour of arrival, although it was much better paid earlier and even if it was a whole day, but it's expensive for an hour, as for me.... I wish the director to reconsider the option of visiting at least for 3 hours, the child has just relaxed and is already on the way out!!!! 😳

It's a very good idea. But, unfortunately, not a very good implementation. The smell is deadly. I have a cat, my parents have three. I've been to the anti-cafe with animals many times, but something went wrong here. After five minutes, I wanted to escape to the fresh air. Incense sticks are burning, but they only make things harder. A more thorough cleaning with a steam generator and special tools is needed.
Perhaps for this reason, cats are "stoned". Completely indifferent. But cats will always run away from where they don't like to be, so it's still good for them there.
About the good things. Cool drawings, they should be decorated with frames or thicker paper, so that it looks not like waste paper, but a gallery. And leave only those that really deserve attention. And there are cool ones there)
Seals - no comments here, I really wanted to pick up a delicate black mini lady, gracefully reclining right "at the checkout." It is a pity that my cat will not understand such a gift from Minsk.
I wish the museum to resolve the issue of fragrance. And there will be a cool tourist place with a noble basic history of finding owners for kittens.

We were there today with our family. 42p entrance (2 adults, 1 child). It would be all right, but there is a minus. 1 - cats don't even approach people, most of them are in a closed room, sleeping or lying down. It's understandable, there are enough people there, but still imagined it a little differently. 2. 42 rubles per hour of stay is expensive, there is not much to do there. To look at children's drawings and look through the barrier at cats for 42p is not quite, of course. I really hope that the money will go to charity. 3. It's a smell. As all the commentators write, you need to be prepared, but that's exactly what I wasn't ready for, it's very hard to be there for more than 10 minutes. As a matter of fact, after 10 minutes we left there..

I give 5 stars, but only for the idea and the seals…
The idea is amazing - that you can come and pick up a cat, while helping others, either by bringing something with you or buying some souvenir on the spot and investing in this way.
But as just a visit, I can't say that the impression was on top ... Yes, we drew our seals (by the way, it's very cool that there are drawings everywhere, adds atmosphere), you could treat yourself to cookies, pet the seals, but the smell.... I understand that this is a natural process and it is difficult to get rid of it, but unfortunately it is impossible to stay indoors for a long time…

We visited with my wife and daughter, paid 42p. (15p adult ticket, 12p for children), now I'll tell you what, I hope this money goes to feed and service cats. There are about 10 cats in this house, at first glance (it's hard to count because most are hiding), one small dog. Cats are tortured, some are very aggressive, almost all sleep, do not play, and it's understandable with so many visitors. The smell killed the most in this house. It's not even a smell - it's a stink, unbearable. The hour you pay for is impossible to be here, we stayed for a maximum of 20 minutes. It is not clear whether this is such an unfortunate choice of aroma sticks, which are burned there on every corner, or whether this is improper cat care. The impressions were extremely negative, it's a pity for these cats, of course it's better than on the street, but still...

The very idea of creating such a shelter for seals is of course wonderful that you can come to watch, feed and play with the seals, But!!!!
The room is poorly ventilated, it stinks, but most of all we were horrified by the picture of sluggish cats who are stuffed with some kind of sedatives, sleeping a deep sleep that is not awakened. Foam from the mouth and fallen tongues on the gun. Museum staff say that the seals have a quiet hour. Of the 19 seals, only 2 are active, the rest lie awake and sleep deeply.
To be honest, we are even somewhat disappointed. And they left with sadness in their hearts.

It's great that there is a place in Minsk where you can "pet cats" and play. The museum has everything for a comfortable stay, a cafe with tea, coffee and water, a toilet, even a children's area where children can draw a cat and this picture will be hung on the wall. It's a great idea. The only thing the star was removed for was an acrid unpleasant smell. The kittens are all wonderful and can even be taken home!!

The seals are well-groomed, clean, there are about 5 of them in total. You can stroke and play with them. The smell that stands there "killed", starting from the 1st floor (the museum is located in an apartment on the 3rd floor), they could not stand more than 20 minutes.I'm sorry, but for 15 Belarusian rubles for an adult and 12 for a child (about 400 rubles, the course was 28), it's just not serious to look at walls with children's drawings and one showcase with cats from Gzhel. The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War with this approach is cheaper and much more interesting.

In November 2023, we visited the Museum of the cat). Very warm atmosphere: many visitors with children. There are pet cats everywhere, photos, children's drawings, cat figurines (unfortunately they do not sell). Nice interior. Wonderful volunteer girls. If we were locals, we would definitely take one pet into the family.
Unfortunately, the museum exists only on donations. The administration of the city of Minsk could consider the possibility of at least not taking money for the rent of the premises. We need to help our younger brothers who are in a difficult life situation: many pets are disabled.

The institution is in a state of "complete nightmare", cats just lie in a half-dead state almost all day, the smell is simply terrifying, a cat was found near the "cafe zone", which in its condition looked more like dead than alive. The museum is located under the roof, can you imagine how hot it is there? So we didn't notice a single bowl of water for cats, but we noticed a wonderful "cat's entrance" fragrance that starts right from the first floor (the museum is located on the third). We were also amazed by the bowls of food, where there is just a huge mountain of food. The passability of this "beautiful" place is probably sufficient, after all, the center of Minsk, so I suspect they should have had funds for normal ventilation, food and organization of space, but they have gone somewhere.
The only plus of the museum is the person looking after it / the cashier, a very nice man, thanks to him for a mini-excursion into what is happening here.
To sum up: a nightmare and a horror, animals literally need to be rescued from there, because they live in such conditions that you would not wish this on anyone.

Disappointed. I visited you around November 12th. The guy rattled off the text and ran into the closet without even offering a tour. There were no people when I arrived. It remains to guess what's what, wandering around the museum. The only thing at least explained where to hang the coat. I know I could have asked, but he looked like I came to his house and woke him up. Therefore, I did not want to torture a person. Maybe they don't pay him anything at all, that's why it works like this... I don't know.
Yes, because of the incense in literally every corner of the house, I also left after about 20 minutes. There's no hiding from them anywhere
The only ray of joy is a three-colored cutie, who was taken away right before my eyes. The rest were all tortured.
If it wasn't for the service and the smell, we could have gone back. It's great to communicate with cats

The idea is good, the organization is lame. The main disadvantage is the smell of aroma sticks. It is so strong that after 10 minutes it starts to feel dizzy and you need to go out into the fresh air. I saw 3 cats and a dog. There were about 8 people. There was nowhere to turn around. There is a room to drink coffee/tea. It's dirty, it feels like they've made a "museum" out of a communal apartment.
Usually such an institution is called an anti-cafe or kotokafe, but not a museum. And such establishments are always clean and tidy.

The ticket price is not comparable to the result of the visit. As a bonus, you could drink tea in the company of cats, but there is no water in the cooler, the animals sleep or ignore any appeal to them, well, in addition, an impossible smell that discourages any desire to linger there, and all clothes smelled of this feline stench.

Initially, I want to warn you: This is not a museum. There are statuettes, drawings of seals from visitors, themed merch, but the institution rather combines the functions of a shelter for seals and a time cafe.
But I don't see a downside to this. This is not a shelter, there are no endless rows of cramped cages, the animals are in complete freedom of movement inside the institution. And it's also not the unenviable fate of a street animal. Once inside, you get the opportunity to chat with the guests, drink tea (while you are being crushed by clawed paws), play checkers in silence, or even shelter a cat sunk into the heart. The money earned for your visit will help the cats living there.
Now about the cons: the building is old, the interior is worn out. Despite the effort of the staff to clean everywhere, there is a characteristic smell.
Why do I give five stars? I really want to attract people to this place, because I believe that the idea is great, and if the institution gets good attendance, problems with cleanliness, repair and filling of interiors will be resolved, the conditions of stay of both cats and guests will improve.
From myself to the staff: do not give up, you are well done :

The impression is very twofold. On the one hand, it's a great idea, but on the other there are embarrassing moments.
It is commendable that there is a place and people who are ready to help cats find a home.
The director was pleased with the cat 😁
There is an opportunity to drink tea in a separate room.
Separate small areas for seals where you can not enter.
There is an opportunity for children to play and draw.
When climbing the stairs , the paws on the walls are very cute ☺
Of the cons:
A very persistent smell, while incense is not an option (it does not interrupt the smell well and contributes to the development of diseases in cats). Laina to help😉
I would like a fenced area at the entrance, where it would be possible to put on shoe covers, leave outerwear and wash your hands fully (processing is cool, but still soap and water will clean better, and will give less opportunity to infect seals with something).
The room also seemed dirty. It feels like wet cleaning doesn't happen often. Or at the expense of old age , there is such a feeling 🤔
But these disadvantages are fixable, and the plus definitely outweighs: you give each mustachioed-tailed one a house!

The price is slightly too high for such an institution IMHO, for two adults and a child - 49byn (by the way, it is cheaper in the WWII museum). People who perceive odors should avoid this place. Cats are all stressed out in principle (there is little room, of course). Creativity is good, implementation is lame. + For a good cause (you can take any cat with you - they are all "brooches"). This is not a museum. Rather a cat cafe, but you need to take into account that there is not a very good smell and not all cats look healthy. This is partly due to the fact that they immediately say that cats are taken from the street for overexposure, they are looking for owners, and they are treated and vaccinated. This may be the reason for the bad smell. On the one hand, it's good, they work as a shelter, but you could invest more in your business, connect more charity. It is possible to keep new animals temporarily somewhere else (I have seen options with glass walls), to learn from the experience of other cats.
There are several paintings/prints from the museum and several cabinets with various figurines. It is more aimed at spending time with cats.

They offer tea with sweets, but it is unclear how it can be drunk in such conditions? Yes, there are seals who mark the territory, but I think for the money that they pay at the entrance, they could be castrated. Hands are disinfected at the entrance, but after visiting the museum you will not wash off the smell.
