In my opinion, Side reminds at the same time of Ephesus with its ancient buildings, and the old town in Antalya with shops and cafes among the antiquities. We were impressed by the glass floors above the ongoing excavations.
I would love to return again with a professional guide and learn more about the history of this beautiful place.
We walked around the city (this is not a long route), although it was possible to drive on an excursion train, which is more economical in time, but superficially in terms of inspection (the price is symbolic), Be sure to visit, I advise.

It is very informative about the organization of the life of the ancient city... and the one who comes to Side himself - a bunch of cafes and the beach are within walking distance.
