It is a very cool place, admission is generally free, but it is not expensive to the museum and amphitheater (180lir July 2023). A lot of buildings have been preserved and there really is a feeling that you are somewhere in ancient times, especially if you go further into the depths

The old Side will sink into the soul right away, during the day there are plenty of places where you can have a snack and quench your thirst, look after things, and in the evening there are places for dinner and pastime. Very atmospheric and beautiful

If there is nothing to do at all and you want to lean against history, then here you are. There are a lot of historical ruins (with fittings inside). Basically nothing interesting.

A small town, judging by the ruins. It is located in an unremarkable place, which helped residents hide from the raiders; as the guide explained.
Next to the ancient fountain there is a sign in several languages (there is no Russian), which explains what kind of city it was and what it served for. It was called the Nympheum.
At the time of the visit, it was forbidden to enter the center of the ruins. And there was work going on there.

The interesting part of the Side) were there on their own, they did not get into the ancient theater (payment is only in lira, dollars were not taken) everything is under restoration, but it does not interfere with walking.
You can take a ride on an open tram) walk to the sea and admire it from a height, or you can take a guide) we liked it!

A historical place.
The story is right under your feet, you can walk through the "cultured", or you can and where you haven't dug up yet.
Full upload to History.
Plus near the sea beaches and wild and opposite hotels, lots of shops,
Beautiful!!!

Of all the sights, I remember a crumpled-looking peasant, but it didn't seem to smell, who stood under the sign: you'll go there to the left, and so on, and offered everyone that you'll go there, and read from this sign, and then demanded money....
And so on the whole it's nice that the ruins are maintained they are clean, well, they are being restored, and in the port itself, I liked that most of the ruins have glazing on top, and the city is already visible from above, and you walk and look at the outlines of old houses

Of course I liked it! Was in 2007. maybe everything has changed, but I think only for the better. The resort itself is well-groomed, "licked", the city of Side itself, an ordinary, provincial, Turkish city.

The top place. There is no point in taking an excursion, it's easier to take a quiet walk and see everything yourself. The area is small, for a couple of hours of walking. Five or six main attractions, the rest are just ruins.

The legacy of an ancient civilization. Ruins of the ancient world. I wandered there, feeling the living history. How fast time is running. For hundreds of years, people have lived on this blessed land and enjoyed the wonderful climate. I recommend a visit. I'll add photos when I fix the other phone I went there with.

Beauty, however, pomukkale is no longer the same, I do not advise you to go, one of the three white slides works, there is no water in the others and they are closed by a chain.
And on the one that works -there are a lot of people, you will not be able to take good photos. In general, the tour there is not worth it
