We had a rest at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City 4* from October 21 to 28, 2023.
The hotel is located in a good area. Within walking distance of the metro station, tram and bus stop. We used the metro (walk 10 minutes), tram (walk 5 minutes) and taxi on a regular basis. You can also walk very quickly to the Barasti Beach Club (15 minutes).
The hotel itself is not bad, but, in our opinion, it lacks repairs (slightly tired rooms, swimming pool, recreation areas), and there are many questions about the design itself (once, probably, the design was very even).
There are absolutely no questions about room cleaning - everything is fast, regular, clean enough (towels and drinking water are updated daily, bed linen every other day). Be sure to ask for slippers (incredibly comfortable and soft).
The hotel has two pools (on the 2nd floor and on the 8th) with cool water, which is very refreshing. There are always free sun beds, towels are given out, there is a bar near the pools.
I would especially like to mention the breakfast buffet system. Fresh pineapple juice and my favorite carrot juice, packaged juices, lemonades, tea, coffee of all kinds in any volume, VHF can be taken with you, who is relevant. Coffee can be kindly brought by waiters who help the residents at all breakfasts. Also very tasty hashbrown, chicken sausages, bacon, perfect scramble, beans, tortillas with spicy filling, scrambled eggs/omelet with different fillings, mushrooms, salted fish, fruits (watermelon, melon, papaya, pitahaya, apples, bananas, grapes), a lot of dried fruits and seeds, different types of bread, pastries puff pastry, honey in honeycombs, muesli, all kinds of cheeses, sliced sausage, in general, there is a lot for every taste.
The hotel serves a business lunch at lunchtime, where a hot menu is offered (we took fish and incredibly delicious meat), any number of salads (it was spicy and a lot of greens), cakes, water, drinks. It was very nice that, after serving hot, the chef came out and asked us how the dishes were, offered to replace the sauce. But everything was very tasty, we refused. Thank you very much for such a service.
The hotel has an Italian restaurant Certo and an Icon sports bar. We spent one evening at the bar. I want to tell you about an incredible girl who works at Icon. Swostika, that's her name, is incredibly positive, resourceful and friendly. We started communicating, as usual, in English, but the understanding was dry and not always correct, then she just asked where we were from, after which, for a better understanding between us, she wrote to the translator and showed the messages to us. It was incredibly nice and sweet. It was no longer dry communication (the order was accepted, the order was brought), but communication with the soul. Thank you very much for a warm evening, despite the rain outside (yes, it was the first rain we saw in Dubai).
At the reception, all the staff are friendly and ready to help (upon arrival they will bring things to the room, tell you where it is, information about the rules of accommodation is also posted here in Russian). Here you can change the currency if you really need it (in general, the exchange rate itself is not always good). There is an employee, Zhanna, who knows Russian, which is very nice.
I want to note how the staff helped us when we left (there was an early departure). We sat down to wait for the bus, we were offered to sit at a table and have a snack in convenient conditions, poured juice and coffee.
In general, in general, I recommend the hotel. The rest was a success. Thank you very much for the service and professionalism of the staff.

We spent 10 days at this hotel. We liked it. Very friendly, friendly staff. I would like to thank Jeanne for giving us a room with two separate beds at our request and for allowing us to stay in the room for another three hours on the day of departure (we had a late check-out). We had a good rest. The hotel is located within walking distance to Dubai Marina (where there is a good promenade), as well as from tram and metro stops. The room is pleasant, there is always fresh water in glass bottles, a guy named Bibek did a very good cleaning. A very big plus of the hotel is that there is Internet all around. Very tasty breakfasts (red fish, real cheeses, nuts and other goodies). the waitress girls are extraordinary, wonderful, the guys also work perfectly, I don't want to single out anyone so as not to offend. As for the dinners, they are cooked for four, but very small portions (it will obviously not be enough for those who like to eat well). I'm used to eating salad, main course, dessert and drink. Here you can choose only two dishes plus a drink. So, in general, I recommend it. Thanks again to all the staff (reception, restaurant, cleaners, pool staff and all those who made our stay pleasant and who were always ready to help)

A good hotel, a huge selection of breakfasts , there is red fish , a lot of Nuts and cheeses .
On the second floor there is a large swimming pool , on the seventh floor there is a 2 by 2 pool , and 10 sun beds on it , everything is like in a barrel)
The water is changed in the room every day , but the cleaning is questionable.

The place is beautiful. Quiet. Rooms of modest size:it's great for a business trip and accommodation alone, but it's a little cramped for a family.
It is extremely convenient to get to the main tourist places. Mostly by taxi, but there is a metro station within a 10-minute walk. But when traveling with a threesome, it makes the cost comparable to a taxi.
The hotel is cleaned every day. If you ask, there will be enough water in the room, and the bar will be replenished, linen and towels will be exchanged. We need to remind you about this. If you do nothing, then they probably live according to their regulations. Maybe even hack.
There are 2 swimming pools for those who do not want to go to the sea or time does not allow (for example, evening departure for an excursion). Sun beds, towels, everything is there. There is a bar. The price is overpriced.There were no problems with places.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are of the same type. It won't get boring in a week, but it's possible for a longer period. There are not many places to eat in the district. Consider this. The average cost in a restaurant for three with a glass of wine will easily exceed 1200-2000 AED.
The hotel has a bar on the 8th floor. They make cocktails, there is alcohol. But at exorbitant prices. For example, a pint of beer 65 AED, a glass of wine from 45 AED, whiskey from 75 AED. Count for yourself.
There are 2 Russian speakers at the reception. You can contact them, because even communicating with others in English puts them in a stupor and they require "support of the hall". Maybe I was so lucky))
Taxi fare at the time of writing the review: palm -25 AED, Burj Khalifa - 60 AED, Marina Beach - 15-17 AED. Prices if you catch a car on the street. In the mobile app - the prices are higher.

Nice hotel within walking distance from Dubai Marina. It consists of two buildings. There are two pools, a small one on the roof of one building and a larger one on the 2nd floor of the second building. There is a restaurant with Italian cuisine. Relatively expensive, the average price tag for a dinner for two is 400 dirhams. The rooms are comfortable, there is everything you need. They are cleaned every day and on request. We have accommodation with breakfast, very high-quality food, buffet, varied, interesting, everything is fresh, there are a lot of tables, a lot of hot dishes, fried eggs, fried cheese, draniki, etc. There is no buffet for lunch and dinner, only on the menu. Located in the Media City area, about 30 minutes walk to the Marina, the same distance to the beaches. Taxi to the Marina is about 25 dirhams. Near the metro and tram station. This is a hotel area, so there are no shops and cafes nearby, you have to go to the Marina area, there are a lot of things there. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, both small: on the 2nd floor a little more, on the 8th floor less. Nearby sun loungers, umbrellas, towels are provided free of charge. The water is cool, very refreshing. There is no beach of its own, the shuttle does not go to the beaches. Or walk 30 minutes, which is hard in the heat, or taxi 25 dirhams.

Hello! We had a family vacation in Dubai at your hotel from November 3 to November 16, 2023. We were lucky, it turned out to be a great choice of hotel. Its location in relation to metro stations, tram, to the Dubai Marina area is just walking distance. At the same time, the hotel is located in a fairly quiet area of media city. The rooms are cozy, a large bathroom, feather beds on the bed, bathrobes, slippers, a comfortable safe and an ironing board with an iron in the room. Lots of storage places. Tea, coffee, water are always available. In our room 430, the cleaning still suffered periodically, I can't help but note this... Well, as it is, everything suits you at your hotel! Good swimming pools, comfortable sun loungers and relaxation areas, went to the gym (it works around the clock). The reception staff is pleasant, everything is solved quickly! Especially, of course, I would like to mention the breakfasts!!! It's just a feast of taste!!! We have tried everything, and there is everything in the assortment for breakfast that your heart desires! Pleasant waiters help you feel at home. I would especially like to mention a very nice young man, a cook, who greeted us every day with a smile, his calmness, good mood, which lifted our spirits and helped us make the rest more intense! Why... Yes, because a good breakfast, and this is very important, is a good start to the day! The hotel deserves a solid 4+,
the staff is super!
We were settled immediately without any problems, even though we arrived before 12:00. Special thanks to JUVY, who put us in a great room and was very friendly. The suitcases were helped to the room, escorted and everything was shown.
The rooms were cleaned daily, it was always clean, and the air bed was very good.
The breakfasts were varied and delicious, with a variety of choices. We had dinner included, but we were allowed to change it for lunch. At the FLORDELEE restaurant, she always pleased us with her positive attitude and quick serving of dishes.
The pool in the hotel was clean, without the smell of chlorine, and ice was brought on request very quickly.
I liked the convenient location, just 25 minutes to Kate Beach by bus 8. The metro is also nearby
Of the cons:

- There were no Russian-speaking staff

A standard Radisson, not new but quite clean and tidy. Relatively good location 10 minutes to the marina, 5 minutes to the metro. You can safely walk to the monorail on the palm tree. But there is nothing really in five minutes from the tunnel. Consider this point.

The Dubai Marina area is within walking distance, but it takes about 17-20 minutes on foot, taking your time.

We had a rest with my husband from June 27 to July 4.
The hotel is super! Polite and friendly staff. At the reception, the girl Zhanna speaks Russian. The view from the room is beautiful.
The heat was +40 outside, the water temperature in the pools on the second and eighth floors was 28 degrees, which allowed to cool down😊 a beautiful view of the city comes off from the pool on the 8th floor.
The air conditioners work very well in the hotel, they did not immediately cope with the conder in the room, but then they set it to 24 degrees and it became comfortable.
Buffet breakfast, a large selection, everything is very tasty and fresh.
Dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor, the portions are large and delicious.
To the sea on foot 10-15 minutes is a paid beach, to the free beach on foot 40-45 minutes from the hotel.
To the metro on foot 7 minutes.

The higher the room category, the more comfortable it is - standard rooms are very small, it is better not to take them. For me, the main disadvantage is that the gym in the basement is small with poor ventilation. We were in Dubai for the first time in March 2024, we wanted to see the city and go shopping, so we chose the hotel very carefully. Spoiler — I recommend the hotel!
Rooms
The check-in was quick and comfortable, although we got a little lost in the corridors and got confused in the elevators. The communication was conducted in English, it was difficult to catch the Indian accent, as well as my Russian, but we managed). The rooms themselves are more business than leisure. The room was Standard, small, the furniture was not new, but everything was clean and well maintained. The view from the window to the windows opposite, that is, there is practically no window, the curtains were always drawn. This is the main and probably the only disadvantage of the hotel. There is an adapted outlet. Tea, coffee bags, kettle. 2 bottles of water. In addition to gel and shampoo, there is body lotion and hair balm in the bathroom. Slippers and bathrobes were brought upon request. Cleaning and restocking — daily or on request, as you set the indicator, any request was also fulfilled by calling the reception — after 5 minutes the employee was already standing on the doorstep of the room, just wow! There is a refrigerator, a refrigerator, a safe.
Territory and beaches
Despite the fact that this is a business hotel with a lot of negotiations, there are also entertainment areas: there are 2 pools on the roof (towels are provided), bars, a restaurant. The hotel is located in the business district, close to the poppy, Indian cuisine. The most important thing is the excellent location to transport: 5 minutes to the tram to the Marina, 10 minutes to the metro, 5 minutes to the bus stop, 20 minutes to the monorail to Palma. We took the subway to the Dubai mall and looked at the fountains, it took about an hour to get there. We also went to the Museum of the future and there is a cool view rest. The Marina can be reached on foot in 20 minutes, there are also the nearest grocery stores along the way, where we sometimes took a ready-made lunch. But the marina is big, if you need to go directly to the other side, it is better to get there in half an hour by tram — there is also the JBR beach. There is a beach within walking distance from the hotel — the same half hour — but it is very much inferior to Jumeirah. Once we took a bus to the beach to Sail: the beach there is also good, but the road took a very long time because of traffic jams. We went to Palma on the monorail, but pay attention when the last one comes from the island: we were almost too late. There is a cool cafe with Indian-Asian cuisine on the way to Carrefour. I do not recommend going by boat on a sightseeing tour from the water — a crowd of noisy Indians, tasteless curry and wasted money. You can see the same thing by taking a ferry ride from McDonald's Marina to the Ferris wheel. We went to Deira once to see how ordinary people live, my verdict is: do not go there, do not spoil the impression of Dubai) and even more so, do not stop there to live! We didn't take any excursions, except for the ill—fated boat - we went everywhere ourselves by public transport.
Meal
We had breakfast included — and it's absolutely necessary to take them! Everything is very tasty and of high quality: good cheeses, omelets, hash browns, red fish, exotic fruits, croissants, freshly squeezed juices and much more — I would eat like this every day, by God, I don't need anything else.
We had lunch with salads at carrefour, McDonald's, in the cafe I wrote about above. We had dinner already where we found ourselves in the evening) of the impressive there was only the Level43 view restaurant — very tasty and large portions, booked via whatsapp. Prices are like in Moscow in places of a similar level, if you are in Dubai on the 43rd floor, then wait for prices like in the City)
A ticket
The weather was super: it was not deadly hot during the day, you can safely sunbathe, it is also warm in the evening. Going in March is great! But we were before Ramadan. For 7 nights it cost us 150k for two with breakfast. We flew Anex from Vnukovo, everything went well.

I don't understand why they give good ratings to this hotel, as for me this hotel is not 5 stars. I'll start with the pros: close to the metro, near Dubai Marina (15-20 minutes on foot), good breakfasts (monotonous, but you won't get bored in 7 days), pleasant receptionists at the reception, did not hear bad words in their direction) I read reviews of other hotels, it so happens that they are rude / say bad words behind their backs having managed to turn away, in general, in this regard, it is good here. Now let's move on to the cons: the furniture is already old, the cleaning is disgusting, the bed linen is not changed, if not to say, they can leave an empty bottle of water / gels / shampoos, the balm is put on every other time, tea and coffee are not replenished, which is free in the room. The disgusting smell in the room from the old carpets that go all over the room, that's what ruined everything! They constantly opened the window so that the smell would not hit the nose so much, it was unpleasant to walk on it, since it was not even vacuumed, well, or they did it very badly. Mold in the bathroom, the sink was also poorly washed, or maybe not washed at all. Total: if the price of this hotel is not high, then maybe it's worth taking it, but I probably won't come here next time. Although, I have not yet seen other 4-star hotels in Dubai and maybe this is not a completely bad option.

We rested at the hotel in April 2023. The hotel is located in a quiet location, the area is not touristic, there are office buildings around. To the tram 5 minutes on foot, to the metro 10 minutes. McDonald's is located very close by. The breakfasts at the hotel are excellent, very tasty natural juices, a wide variety of fruits. There are always 6-8 different dishes for hot. There is always fried bacon, potato pancakes, several kinds of cheeses, sausages. Dinners on the menu in a restaurant, I do not advise, it was quite possible to do without them. It's delicious, but the menu is the same. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were placed immediately. There is no reception for Jeanne, thank you so much to her! Promptly solved all our questions. We got a room on the 5th floor, the windows faced the American University. There is no noise from the street. We went to the beach by tram. Get off at the stop "Jumeirah beach resident 2", from the stop literally 2-3 minutes and the beach. Tram fare- 3 dirhams on the silver card nol.
The hotel left a very positive impression.

Great hotel. Convenient location. The metro is a 10-minute walk away, Dubai Media Park at the exit of the hotel. The food is varied. At breakfast, red fish, camarber cheeses, brie. The hotel where I will definitely stay again
