The hotel is very tired. The staff is polite, but with a tunnel mindset. The rooms are spacious. Well-stocked. The refrigerator did not work, the air conditioner did not work, it was hot in the room. Swimming pool, gym, sauna area - everything is wonderful. The food in the restaurant upstairs is excellent, but with a pretty good price tag by Almaty standards. That's why there was no one there for the two days that we had dinner there.

The pool is clean, does not smell of chlorine, baths for every taste, massages for a fee, but everything is very inexpensive and specialists are trained. The only drawback is that the card in the elevator only works for the floor where you live!!! And locking the doors to the stairwell!! therefore, when we decided to go down the stairs to the floor below to our friends, we simply could not open the door from the stairs! We called a friend, he opened the door, but there were 2 doors, and the first one slammed shut.... And we found ourselves on a cold flight of stairs... we went down to the 1st floor, but there was no access to the hall either.. There was not a single phone, 🆘 button or other means of communication on the stairs. We barely got through-we shouted, the security opened to us only on the 1st floor. That is, if you get on the stairs, you will stay there))) So a big request to the management of the hotel - be sure to work out this issue!!

We stayed at the hotel from 16-18 .02.24 We had an early check-out at 5 a.m. The reception was warned earlier and asked to bring breakfast with you,, We were given (for 2 people) a sandwich in a container, consisting of a piece of toast bread filled with ketchup, three mugs of cucumber + iceberg + cheese + some kind of ham. Very sparse. Activia and yogurt were added to the second container. The sandwiches are not edible. We were left without breakfast. The breakfasts at the hotel are gorgeous and such,,breakfast with you,,? Houseeping works very well. Responsive staff at the reception.

Overall, everything went well. Keep in mind that when checking into the hotel, you will be charged 5% of the cost of accommodation, some kind of fee (tax). The rooms are clean and spacious. Everything works, although you need to get used to the lighting system first. The restaurant on the 11th floor boasts one of the best views in the city, but at the same time a rather meager menu, for some reason in a pan-Asian style. Fo-bo is more like a soup with mushrooms (where did they come from) and thick pieces of beef. Salmon with octopus is salmon and a small (quite) octopus. There are no problems with alcohol, the card is huge, but if you do not drink alcohol, then the choice is sooo much reduced. We checked into the hotel as expected, at 14:00, despite the availability of rooms, we had to wait in the lobby from 09:00 in the morning (principle?). I'm unlikely to stay at this hotel anymore.

We would like to express our gratitude to the girls at the reception - Nella and Dina. A very quick solution to all issues. Well done! I liked the hotel. The rooms are spacious (even ordinary), the breakfasts are excellent, there was even caviar with pancakes. Good and delicious! It would be nice to extend breakfast for an hour, it would not be bad. The SPA is great. Especially the bath complex with a choice of two steam rooms and a hammam, there are also two fonts. Great vacation!

The staff is excellent, I want to mention the excellent work of the general manager, there were several unpleasant situations that he solved. What I didn't like was the daily food of the same type. There seems to be a lot of everything but nothing to eat. But I realized one thing after I moved out to 4 stars that it was much better, but still if you go to Almaty, then below 5 * is not an option to live, since the level is 1 lower everywhere, that is, where 5 is 4, where 4 is 3. Next time I'll try the Ritz, maybe the situation is different there. But so far, the situation is similar for the other 5*. In general, I was satisfied with the hotel.

As a compliment, they told us to bring tea, but after the massage they took us to the salt room and got lost. At some point, we realized that they had forgotten about us and went up the long labyrinths to the reception. The girl at the reception desk said that tea was already in the cafe. I went back to this cafe again, there's nothing there. After that, she said that they were closing and tea would be brought to the room. Tea was also not brought to the room until I called the hotel reception and explained the situation. I was refused twice, referring to the fact that the restaurant carries a compliment only in the spa. After I asked to call the administrator, they finally promised to arrange it. As a result, they did not bring what we asked for. But we've already given up…

To say that I am shocked by the service is to say nothing. This is the first time I have seen that there was not a single intelligible person at the reception. It feels like they have recruited schoolchildren (and no offense to them). It all started with the fact that I was asked at check-in: "Do you really need help with your suitcase?" Oh, I didn't expect this at the Hilton. Then the payment for the room did not go through. I explained that my husband would return in an hour and pay for it, but all that hour they called me and demanded to urgently pay for the room, despite the fact that I explained that I was tired from the plane and would rest. When asked what the problem is if the payment is in an hour, the reception employee could not clearly answer. In general, throughout our stay we were constantly confronted with incompetence and, sorry, stupidity of the staff. As a result, it was decided to go to another hotel. In general, this level of service is completely unusual for Hilton. We have stayed in hotels of this chain in different countries, but this is the first time we have encountered this.

I went to the reception 3 (!) times to solve this issue - without result. However, for the third time, the girl at the reception offered to move to another room. There is a place to eat near the hotel if you are cramped in the walls of the hotel. Not nearly worth the price. There is one (ONE) tiny piece of soap in the room for $260 (yes, for sure, if you leave the bathroom, call somewhere, then after 10-15 minutes of waiting they will bring more, but are you serious, at all?). There is not a single item in the sink area on which you can hang a hand towel - I was creative and hung it on the mirror - but obviously you need to be able to design a bathroom untidy after the first wash. The water does not flow warm or hot or cold - the water flows: 2 seconds warm, 3 seconds cool, then warm, then cool, so all the time. Maybe it's Morse Code, but I didn't count the message. It's incredibly annoying. In the room for $260 - 2 (TWO) half-liter bottles of water. The minibar is empty - well, that's right, cho, to pamper. On the window sill of my room, some kind previous resident generously scattered sunflower seeds, apparently to feed pigeons - there were no pigeons during my stay, the seeds were bored and rotted. The cleaning service was clearly not interested in them. The bar on the 11th floor is bad, but that's okay - no one expected anything. The linen is clean, sleeping is fine. In general, a place to spend the night is suitable, it does not cause any emotion. Of course, no 5 stars, 4- at best, rather 3+, but this is a question for connoisseurs

A good hotel, you can stay with pleasure. Advantages: Location - the city center, near the metro, restaurants, close to attractions and if you need to get to Panfilov Street (the main pedestrian street is one metro stop or 15-20 minutes of a pleasant walk) Breakfast is a good, decent breakfast with enough choice, everyone will be able to find what they like. Without super frills, but you can definitely start the day perfectly. For example, there are two types of porridge (oatmeal and rice), pancakes, scrambled eggs or omelet to order (cooked with you), sausages, scramble, side dishes, vegetables, fruits (mostly canned, but there are also whole fresh fruits), cottage cheese and dairy products, pastries, tea and coffee, juices. The lobby bar and rooftop restaurant are expensive at local prices, but high-quality and delicious. If you are too lazy to go somewhere, you can easily have dinner at the hotel. Clear and extensive menu, high quality. By the way, I can recommend a great restaurant right next to it (again, if you are too lazy to go far from the hotel) - it's called Qaimaq, go and you won't regret it. The rooms are very well cleaned, nicely decorated, quite large and with high ceilings. A comfortable large bed. The shower in the standard and superior standard rooms and the shower and bathroom in the rooms are on a higher level. Service - the staff is very attentive and welcoming. Parking is available on site, free, guarded. Wifi - I always had enough for everything (social networks, surfing the Internet, listening to music and watching videos). For work, if you ship extensive and large files, then of course it can slow down. Minuses: There are minor flaws in the rooms - the socket in the bathroom is low power, so you can't turn on the hair dryer there or charge something. It is necessary to dry in the corridor of the room (and the cord of the hair dryer does not fully reach the mirror). It is solved - ask for an extension cord at the reception. Water in the shower - sometimes there are short-term pressure interruptions. They are fast and do not cause much discomfort (to me personally), but this can happen and it is a little strange in a hotel of this level. Just the features: By default, you can only take the elevator to your floor and the floors of common spaces. If you come with a company and are on different floors, just go to the reception with your friends and room cards and ask to allow access to each other. If everyone agrees, access will be granted immediately. SPA and pool - keep in mind that the water in the pools is very warm. If you were planning to practice, it is unlikely to work out. However, there is an official Olympic swimming pool within walking distance (2 minutes), if you really need to, you can go there. The overall rating is 4, not 5, precisely for these shortcomings in the rooms. I have a special opinion about hotels of this level - given the high price and status, I cannot forgive such mistakes. I could easily forgive this for a lower-class hotel. However, I assure you that the Hilton is really a place worthy of your attention, I have been here twice and I will be happy to return again.
