From December 2 to December 8, 2022, FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON SHARJAH became our home.The hotel was chosen according to its convenient location, and of course according to the reviews of visitors. The choice did not disappoint. Very friendly hotel staff. We had to wait a little for check-in, and then according to the rules of the hotel we had to check in after 15.00, but around 13.00 we were in the room. A room on the 14th floor with a view of the pool and the "Steam Trains". Meals were taken for breakfast and dinner, but you can change dinner for lunch, which we did. The hotel is urban, but the transfer to the sea and shopping centers is organized. Since this is not the first trip to the Emirates, this time we did not go on excursions. We enjoyed swimming in the Persian Gulf and shopping. We were lucky with the weather, there was no sweltering heat, and the sea was very warm.I really liked the hotel and would love to come back to rest again, and of course for more days. I am grateful to everyone for the organized vacation - to the tour operator, the airline, the hotel staff.

Nice hotel, excellent service. The only drawback is that there are no windows opening vents and balconies, and this makes the smell of dampness very strong.Upon arrival home, all things need to be washed. As soon as we entered the hotel, there was a whiff of dampness, and the dampness in the room went through the roof - I had my work documents with me, they turned into soft, damp pieces of paper)), my clothes also became wet. There was nowhere to dry the swimsuits, they put a chair on the balcony and hung it on it to dry. The furniture in the rooms is tired. In general, there was no comfort in the room! Bed linen and towels were changed every day, there are no complaints, well, maybe because we turned on the - clean room button. For some reason, it was cleaned late - about 5-6 pm. There are no bathrobes in the room, we tried to find out why there are no bathrobes in a 5-star hotel, and received the answer that standard rooms should not have them. What's another disadvantage... we only had breakfast, we went to dinner once, the food was very spicy, the buffet price was 119 dirhams per person (that's about 2,700 rubles), but since my husband had a birthday, we got a discount - we paid 69 dirhams each, which we were able to to eat, but we didn't come here for dinners anymore. There is also a restaurant in the hotel, which I think is Chinese, but it was closed. There is also a coffee shop on the ground floor at the reception. The beach is about 2 km away, we saw people waiting for the bus in the morning, it departs from the hotel at 8 a.m., it brings them back at 11. We took a taxi, which cost from 15 to 20 dirhams each way. On the plus side, the breakfasts are delicious and varied! The staff is attentive - on my husband's birthday, there was a piece of cake with a congratulatory inscription in the room. But the staff doesn't speak Russian at all, we communicated through a Google translator, but it's difficult)) In the end, if we come here for another vacation, then definitely not to this hotel.

There is a shuttle service to the beach, but we still took a taxi, as we got up late. There is a shop next to the hotel that has everything. We took fruits a couple of times, mango and papaya are ripe and delicious. We went to Dubai ourselves and to the Palm Tree too, we did not take excursions, it's much more interesting than riding with everyone along the general route, and you can see a lot more, though you will leave more money). The kitchen is also good, there is fish and chicken every day, as well as fruits and vegetables. If someone wants frills, then you take more expensive vouchers, and there will be no complaints about food. And so, if suddenly someone from the hotel staff reads a review on Yandex, then thank you very much for your work, after this trip he wants to return to the UAE again👍

I liked to relax in the hotel, but those who go should know that not all rooms have windows open, the air is refreshed only by the air conditioning and ventilation system, and as we understood in most buildings, for this reason there is a smell of mold, and it feels like mold grows in all these buildings, it's a pity, because it's it is harmful to health and then can hit the building completely, of course they need to think about how to regulate humidity. Our buildings have heating, so we are fine with that. The rest is fine, if you don't speak at least a little bit of English, then there may be problems in the eating area, there is a Russian-speaking employee at the reception. Well, don't worry, you won't be hungry, everything is very tasty. The level of this hotel needs to be raised, it feels like they are a little stuck in the past. Turkey and Egypt are higher class in terms of service compared to this hotel. Sad. At the same time, the hotel is one of the best in Sharjah, a city hotel, as we love and you can walk and swim in the bay, they take a small bus.

We vacationed in this hotel with my husband in January 2024. In short, our worst vacation. Firstly, the emirate itself is not suitable for tourism. If you have a vacation in the UAE, then only in Dubai (on the Marina), or on islands like Ras al Khaimah. Sharjah and hiking are not compatible, only taxis. Taxi drivers drive just awful. The majority of the population are Hindus. It's very dirty everywhere. There are almost no pedestrian zones. You cross the road at your own risk. There is not much place to walk. The beach where they drove from the hotel is so-so.. they didn't even give towels and paid sun beds. You can't walk to it, it takes 20 minutes by taxi. The road to Dubai is in theory half an hour, in practice - by taxi to the last metro station, by metro about 30 stations to the Marina. The journey there takes about an hour and about 100 dirh. To return back is a whole quest. It is better to immediately take a Gold card in the subway. Otherwise, you'll just drown in Silver wagons in a sea of people during rush hour and you don't know where it will take you. You get off the subway - there are no taxis anywhere, or they pass you by, you walk around the ghetto in search of a car.. as a result, it took 2-3 hours to get back. The Hotel itself is terrible. 5 stars ? Are you serious? Maximum 1. Fall for the fact that the network is also from Marriott. First, they gave a room that smelled of dampness, there was a column in the middle of the window and there was a building almost directly opposite. As a result, there was simply no light in the room at all. The door to the balcony would not close, the handle was broken. The first night we slept terribly, because at 6 a.m. they start singing prayers in the neighboring mosque sooo loudly and with the door open it was very audible. Two days later, our room was replaced (they immediately refused, like everything is occupied, although in fact the hotel is almost empty ..). The new room was with panoramic glazing. The windows did not open and there was no way to ventilate the room. The room was better, but also tired from time.. They cleaned every day, there was no claim to cleaning - except that for some reason they did not put a spare roll of paper)) and the shower gel stood empty for a week.. Meals for 2. The chef there is an Indian. Accordingly, the cuisine is all Indian. Mostly rice and everything spicy. The choice is poor, the food is not tasty. There were very few fruits (we can say there were none). There were no yoghurts for breakfast and cereals like everywhere else. The coffee is not delicious. The dishes are the same every day. Transfer to the beach is a separate story)) they take you twice in the morning , and then pick you up at 12 and 12-45 . If you want to take a taxi at another time. The driver drives terribly, like he's carrying potatoes. Bumps into speed bumps at full speed. They also take you to the shopping center at 3 p.m. That's all the fun. By the way, it's better to go to the far one, there are more shops there. The hotel's pool is also not very good. Small, not to say very clean. We didn't swim there. Pigeons were constantly swimming in the Jacuzzi... and in the upper area where the pool is larger, it is always shaded and cool. There is only a children's pool in the lower one, but there are sun beds and you can sunbathe. There is a sauna, but it does not warm from the word at all.. You can 't really walk anywhere in the evening .. everyone writes about the steam train market.. first there is the market of things (it seems that just the Chinese market at the price of the original)), then there is the fish and fruit market, you can buy seafood at the fish market and cook there, but you need to wait a huge queue to clean and cook it all. Again, it is not very clean there and the smell is specific. In general, as a result, if you want to discourage the desire to visit the UAE in the future, you will go to Sharjah and this hotel)) We are not really harmful, we just have something to compare, and a year ago we vacationed in Ras al Khaimah - there was a hotel not a chain, simple, but it was much cooler in all respects! After this rest, there is absolutely no feeling that I rested and was at sea.

We were lucky that the room was for smokers, but the windows couldn't be opened, so we had to smoke in the bathroom to reduce the smell in the room, which was very uncomfortable. We were there once, but we won't be back. The greeters are very kind and pleasant people. Special thanks to the front door, who always tried to help put the car in the parking lot, a nice young man. During the week of arrival, we could not visit the pool, I was constantly busy. , some children were training , or I was busy with noisy Indians , the only plus is the team working in the restaurant , both cooks and waiters , wonderful guys . They always serve quickly with a smile , very nice , but the food itself is a weak four . But the biggest disadvantage is poor room cleaning , I asked twice during the week of arrival to clean the room again after the so - called cleaning . The company arrived at this hotel, 4 double rooms were booked, we were given 2 excellent rooms and two disgusting rooms. The room we lived in had no balcony, the windows wouldn't open, the windows were dirty, the room smelled damp, there were no towels!!!! (as you can imagine a hotel that positions itself 4-5 stars and a room with no towels!!), when booking, they indicated that people they didn't know very well needed two separate beds, they didn't take this into account. In restaurants, you can not take water to your room for breakfast and dinner, instant coffee (this is a 4-5-star hotel, the hotel has different star ratings on different websites). This is not our first time in the emirates, we were in Ras al Khaimah and Dubai, in these cities we were in 4-star hotels, but there was no such horror!!! The beach is a separate story, it is absolutely not equipped, there are no canopies or sun beds, only paid ones. The shuttles that go to the beach don't have canopies for them, and you're standing in the nearly 40-degree sun waiting for the shuttle. Meals: we took breakfast and dinner, there was nothing particularly normal for breakfast, there was some kind of incomprehensible porridge, sauces (for breakfast, what are they for???), fried sausages .... Bottom line: if you want to spoil your vacation, waste money and the impression of Arab hospitality, then you can relax here otherwise, I do not recommend this hotel.
