We arrived in the morning, checked into the rooms immediately after breakfast. On the territory of the hotel, one pool is heated, the others are not, so there was a problem with the sun beds by the pool. The feeding is not bad, in the morning pancakes, fried eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, cheeses, sausages, tea, coffee. If your choice to spend your vacation fell on the Stella Makadi Hotel, I can share with you the following observations. This is a five-star hotel with a magnificent surrounding area. Rather, it is a complex of hotels united by a single internal hotel infrastructure. The hotel was built in 2008 and during this time the room stock has worn out considerably, a significant part of it needs to be updated. But a number of rooms have already been renovated and if you are lucky, you will be accommodated in an updated apartment. Makadi is a first-line hotel, which means that access to the coastline is the closest here. The beach area is particularly neat, but to enter the water, you will have to walk over a specially equipped bridge to the swimming place.
Food: I'll rate the hotel's food at 4. Passable, but sausage will seem like rubber to you, as well as cheese. Coffee is at the level of the best world standards. Wine and spirits are so-so, the wine is bottled from some boxes and tastes like a cheap balalaika.
The spa is for three. The massage and treatment service is for 4, but it feels like the staff is chasing you through the cycle of their services in order to provide them to you faster and goodbye.
As I mentioned above, the surrounding area is a special conversation. It seems that the landscape design was created by the Creator himself. Contrasting lawns, flowering trees, palm trees and paths are all made with love.
The rooms are cleaned daily. Leave a tip for the cleaner and you will be able to observe his new creative works in the room every day.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. There are some nuances, but the desire of the staff to make the inner life of the hotel convenient for visitors is evident. Four stars!

No complaints. Of the cons: a fairly old hotel, apparently not renovated for a very long time, shabby rooms and furniture. There were no Russian channels in our building. They said there is no technical possibility to connect it. Even a few cockroaches were killed in our room 8106. There are almost no forks and spoons in the restaurant. Priority in service for foreigners for baksheesh. They don't notice you at close range. There is no entrance to the sea. Only from Panton or at a nearby hotel. The reef is beautiful, but yachts dock there almost over the heads of the swimmers. Animations are a separate topic. During the 10 days of stay, live music was played once. And so all on their own dancing, karaoke, miss and Mr. hotel. And everything is more or less interesting fire show, foam party...for an additional fee. On the beach behind a high fence with security posted around the perimeter. There is no internet connection on site. Only in rooms for money. Free shampoos, shower gel, body lotion, hair conditioner, toothbrushes with paste, washcloth, shaving machine with shaving cream-change for free as you use. The food is wonderful, delicious and there is a lot of meat, fish, fruits and sweets. The sun beds are in good condition, there are wicker fences against the wind. It saved me, because the wind is very strong at this time of the year. The minus is a long pier to swim on, the wind just blows away on it... but the sea is warm, it's just not comfortable to get out because of the wind. There are a lot of staff, but unobtrusive, cleanliness, order all around. There are several pools, including those with aquagorks, with a wave that is launched specifically. Great hotel. My wife and I were there from November 20 to November 27, 2021. Complete delight!!! Great room, gorgeous grounds, very tasty cuisine, helpful staff!!! Magnificent sea, its own reef, well-maintained beach. I advise everyone!!!

In Egypt for the third time in a year. This hotel is in my lowest rating. In order. Check in!! See the photo. That's the number they gave us, I just don't have another word. Moreover, they settled in an hour after our arrival. During this hour, I was shown two rooms, one worse than the other. Plus an additional fee, about $ 225.
In fairness, I will note the fact that a sweet, Russian girl is sitting next to the reception. We booked a la carte restaurants with her, and when she asked how we got settled, I showed her these photos. She asked to come over after lunch, and at 15 o'clock we were moved to a wonderful room, compared to that, of course. So the numbers are, of course, patched up.
But thanks a lot to her for participating.
Now about the sea, for which everyone is going to Egypt. And so. Pubs! He's not there. That is, not really, but at low tide, and at high tide. In order to swim, you walk along the pier 200 meters! And there's knee-deep, and you can't even get through. But the water is very warm, as there is little of it)))
Now about nutrition. Poor variety! But! Everything, I emphasize everything, we tasted very tasty. There is no need to wait for drinks. They poured it for you. Believe me, it's much more convenient. A good bar on the beach, surprised with a variety of dishes. We ate seafood there for money, because there were no free seafood in the restaurants.
The cleaning staff received a dollar every day, and we received so-so cleaning, but pigeons, swans from towels. Check the towels. They can be dirty!
The territory is huge, you can get lost. Well-groomed, there are greenery. By the way, there are shuttles they take to a nearby hotel. There is no sea, but there are pools with a wave, waterfall, etc. You can drive once. 5 minutes on the way. The photo with the cave is under the waterfall.
Have I recommended this hotel? Rather no than yes. Will I go to this hotel again? Definitely not.
