Tiles in the bathroom are falling off, the shower is falling out, no soap in the bathroom.

I liked everything! Good location in the center, everything is within walking distance. Good service, comfortable bed, cleanliness, everything you needed was in the room. Buffet breakfast - but in fact the same thing every day, there were porridges, delicious. A very interesting design of the lobby in the national style, wonderful murals on the walls, pleasant lighting solutions. The bar was open around the clock ;) polite staff. The only downside is that everyone smokes openly, but we were told that it's just the way it is in this country.

The location of the hotel is of course gorgeous, the Amir Temur metro station is right at the entrance to the hotel, there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The hotel is undergoing gradual renovation, the lobby downstairs, the reception, the breakfast room have already been updated, everything is good and beautiful there.but!there are also many unreleased rooms-I lived in this, you get to the USSR in the 70s. Everything needs to be replaced, both furniture and plumbing, but in general it is clean and even somehow cozy. The room is large.Of the cons:the water was barely warm and it didn't work out well to take a shower. The breakfasts are good, lots of fruits, delicious hot dishes, juices from the bags, the pastries are delicious, there was samsa with different fillings every day. The staff tries their best, they help in everything, they are very kind. Check-in and check-out at 12.00. in general, I recommend, but not picky guests to repair.I think that after a complete renovation it will be very good!

We stayed at the hotel with our daughter. A very positive impression. A clean room with all amenities. The bed and towels are snow-white. The air conditioners work well. We lived on the 15th floor with a beautiful view of the city. The breakfasts are very varied, everyone will find something to their taste. Soft slippers, shampoos, shower gels, toothbrushes and toothpaste. They also used a safe where they could leave money and valuables. The only drawback is that the shower was leaking, and water was accumulating in the sink due to a blockage. Good sound insulation. The reception staff, the restaurant staff and the maids are very polite. Convenient location in the very center of the city, 2 steps from the Amir Temur metro station. Every day you can go on a Bus City tour directly from the hotel on a comfortable double decker. The tour is very well organized. In the evening, you can stroll through the beautiful central places of the capital. The evening view of the hotel with its burning multicolored lights is also very impressive.
We were very satisfied. The price-quality ratio is the most optimal. On our next visit to Tashkent, we will stay only at the Uzbekistan Hotel. We wish the administration and staff of the hotel further success and prosperity. I recommend it to all guests of the capital of Uzbekistan.

The location is in the heart of Tashkent, which is incredibly convenient, the lobby and restaurants downstairs are quite decent, the exchanger and ATM on the ground floor are very convenient. The views of Tashkent from the upper floors are also amazing. However, the interior of the corridors and rooms is not quite fresh, plumbing and furniture in parts could be replaced, floors cycled, etc. At the same time, we did not regret that we stayed there in Tashkent, a hotel with a soul))

The hotel is in a good, convenient location, almost in the center, near a beautiful park. Everything is fine there, of course the rooms are different, at least at one rate, there are spacious, there is a small one. The building was built under the USSR, which I didn't like: the floor covering is theft, worn out, the air conditioner is huge on the floor, about 1.7 m, it makes terrible noise, the brain explodes, but it's not much use, it blows a little cool, it doesn't cool normally. However, towels are changed often.

I stayed here for a few days when I came to the exhibition in Tashkent.
This is a living monument of Soviet architecture of the 70s!!! For lovers of antiquity, that's the best thing, but for those who evaluate hotels according to the timing of repairs and the price tag (the Revisor approach) will not go in, since the surroundings and furniture are still of that era, and the cost of living is high.
Among the advantages: a great location in the city center, the metro is a two-minute walk away, you can walk slowly to the Alai market for edible souvenirs in 15 minutes, or take one metro stop. There are many bars, cafes, etc. nearby within walking distance of establishments where you can pass the evening (Brawler, etc.). By the way, on the ground floor in the restaurant of this hotel you can also eat delicious food, including national dishes (the only thing is there is no pilaf). There is also something to choose from for a buffet breakfast. It is also convenient for fans of riding on sightseeing 2-storey buses, people gather just here.
Of the cons: it's bad with toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, etc. you need to prepare your own).
In general, if time in Tashkent is limited, but funds allow, and you want to have time to walk around the city center, try local cuisine, sit in local cafes, I definitely recommend staying here.

I have a long and positive history with this hotel. I have been using this place for many years (at least 6) while on business trips. The rooms are spacious, the room has a refrigerator, a kettle, and a set of dishes. TV, of course, I really never watch it. The bathroom has (and is regularly replenished) sets of shower gels and shampoos, there is also a shaving kit and a toothbrush with toothpaste. The hair dryer is built-in. A set of fresh towels. In general, there is everything for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is popular - you can often see whole sports teams in it when sports camps or championships are held in the city. The breakfasts are wonderful, you can always find food to taste. Yes, there is also a metro nearby, within walking distance, several green parks, a walk in the evening. Among the disadvantages, I would note the poor lighting in the rooms. There seem to be a lot of light bulbs, and they are well zoned, but in general it is dark in the room in the evening, if you need to work on a business trip, it will not be particularly comfortable to do it. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with this hotel on my current visit. Perhaps this is a long-standing story, but I have not noticed this problem over the years. Bedbugs live in the room. There are some wild numbers of them. Yes, the hotel is old, the rooms have probably been decorated since Soviet times, and it is currently being renovated, perhaps after a while everything will be completely different, but now I have to fight off these creatures and practically do not sleep. Very upset, and that's putting it mildly.

Back in USSR! An excellent retro hotel, excellent location, the center, near the metro, many restaurants and cafes of different levels, including the famous Bla Bla bar. I overslept breakfast, unfortunately. It is served directly in the lobby. There are 2 restaurants on the 17th floor, Uzbek and panoramic. Of the features, I would not call it a minus - a noisy air conditioner in the TV cabinet, it is not regulated and looks as if it was designed by the defense engineers of the 70s. I advise those who love Soviet vintage, which is also carefully maintained in good condition.

We arrived from Moscow on September 5th. The location is in the very center of the city. The hotel is large, 16 floors. They put us up on the 6th floor. The room is small. Furniture, as they say, greetings from the 70s. Very old, all cracked, creaking. If the windows face the road, it is noisy, because the windows are old, not plastic. There was a kettle, but the sockets didn't work. There was no hot water in the room and the front doors in the room were not closed. After complaints, our room was changed a day later. It was on the 15th floor, more recently renovated. In the toilet room, the dispenser with liquid soap was not working properly, the soap trickled out in a day. The shower curtain was yellow with water.
But the breakfasts in this hotel are very good. There are a lot of fresh vegetables, fruits, delicious pastries, coffee, tea, porridge, several second courses, cottage cheese, yogurt, sour cream, stewed vegetables.
The territory is within walking distance of a magnificent park, very well-groomed territory, a few steps from the metro station, squares, very green. It's just the perfect place for walking.

I stayed at the Uzbekistan hotel for three days while traveling around the country. I chose this place because the location of the hotel, transport and walking accessibility to the main attractions of the capital were important. Everything else was secondary to me. Therefore, my assessment does not take into account the various disadvantages of the accommodation and service itself, but according to this indicator, I will take away one star and list these disadvantages for those to whom comfort and service are primarily important. The hotel is large and monumental, built in the style of Soviet modernism, very similar to the Cosmos Hotel in Moscow. The interior of the first floor is quite modern and beautifully decorated. The restaurant has delicious buffet breakfasts, a large selection for every taste. Attentive and friendly staff.
You enter the elevator, press the button, and it, like a time machine, takes you back to the Soviet past. A large, spacious, clean room with a balcony, a super-duper suite by Soviet standards. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. There are all the necessary amenities, and all of them are also from a previous era, as it should be, very tired of time, which, as you know, spares no one and nothing. Except that a good stable wi-fi connection and multi-channel digital television remind us of the 21st century. An antique air conditioner is mounted under the window sill, but (you guessed it) it does not work, and you can see by the layer of dust under its grille that they did not try to fix it. Nevertheless, the room remained pleasantly cool with an open balcony. Perhaps you will be more lucky and you will check into a room with a working air conditioner. I didn't understand if the room was cleaned daily, but the bed was made and a couple of bottles of drinking water were brought daily. I left the room early in the morning and returned late at night, so I was quite satisfied with a good place to stay for a very reasonable price.
Now the praises. The hotel is located in the very epicenter of Tashkent opposite the very beautiful Amir Temur square with an equestrian monument to the great commander, from where the central avenue of the capital begins. There are several interesting museums and a large picturesque Bolazhon Park within walking distance. After passing through Amir Temur Square, you can look into a rather famous restaurant Corner with delicious tobacco chickens. It is very convenient that there is a metro station right at the exit of the hotel. You can order a taxi through the Yandex Taxi app or at the reception desk, the delivery time is 5 minutes plus or minus. In addition, right next to the hotel there is a stop for a large red double-decker bus running around the capital with a sightseeing tour.
All these advantages of living in Tashkent were enough for me to appreciate the Uzbekistan hotel and not grumble about some household inconveniences. Traveling back in time was also a peculiar event for me. I recommend staying here if you are not very whimsical about the living conditions, and convenience in moving around Tashkent is important to you.

The hotel is not bad. But the main advantage is the location. The staff is friendly and friendly. The breakfasts are of normal quality. But the maids "forget" to put the obligatory bottled water, bring cosmetic and dental supplies. Rooms are cleaned only upon request. Some rooms intended for living are unsuitable for it: the plug of the kettle does not fit any other type of outlet in the room; it is also impossible to charge a cell phone for this reason. Tired Soviet furniture and a bathtub, a dispenser does not work, etc., during the day suddenly something is painted with nitrous paint with a strong smell. But the staff is trying to help in some way, but a lot should be changed in terms of updating furniture and plumbing

The hotel is not bad, the location is almost in the center of the city, which is very convenient, transport, metro is close, many attractions are nearby, you can walk, the staff is friendly, they will show you everything, tell you how to find something. But look carefully at the prices, they took a room on the Internet at the same price, and when they calculated the price was significantly higher for some reason, they could not find out the reason, this is, of course, a minus. There were no slippers and bathrobes in the room. Crumbs from previous tenants were on the floor, they were asked to vacuum, the coating was cleaned, but it was bad, the next day they did not clean at all. The food leaves much to be desired, very modest, monotonous, not very tasty. For this money, you can find a very decent hotel.

The hotel is beautiful! Everything is fine! Many complain that the furniture is old, but in my opinion, this has its own charm. The furniture looks very decent and everything in the room is thought out, everything is comfortable. The bed is magnificent - large and very comfortable. Large balcony with a wonderful view of the city. Two bottles of fresh water are brought to the room every day. There is a small refrigerator in the room .
Breakfast is a classic buffet, where everyone will find what they like. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange. The staff is very attentive and always ready to help.
On the 17th floor there is a small bar with a magnificent panoramic view of the center of Tashkent
Of the minuses-a little dark in the room. And most of the sockets for some reason are for plugs with three horns. We always have an adapter with us, so there was no problem.

The main advantages are the location next to the metro, the price is relatively cheap, 2 pillows per person and soft slippers in the room.
Otherwise a tired Soviet hotel. We stayed twice during our arrival. One of the rooms didn't even have modern sockets. That is, if you want to charge your phone, then either manage to insert the charger into a 3-legged slingshot, or buy an adapter. You will not be given anything at the reception.
The rooms are huge, the furniture is all old, the double-glazed windows are thin, you can hear the street, there don't seem to be any neighbors, or we were lucky.
Breakfasts - as far as I'm not picky, but breakfasts are bad. Every day we eat rice, gravy and sausages, vegetables. It's not tasty, really. There were pancakes a couple of times, but we didn't get them. There are a lot of people, there are not enough tables for breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel, the impression is ambiguous. Everything seems to be beautiful and presentable, but the service is in the details. The rooms are spacious and quite cozy. Repairs are not good in all rooms. We changed rooms because of the endless ventilation noise. There is no shampoo or dental kits in the rooms... it seems like a small thing, but this is also a service. Cleaning and changing of towels every day. The breakfasts are quite varied, but do not look for hot dishes, everything cools down quickly for some reason. Eggs are generally out of the fridge. The waiters are in no hurry to clear the tables. The hotel has a beauty salon and massage room, as well as a fitness room. The staff is polite and friendly. The advantageous location of the hotel is close to the sights, the market and the metro. Staying at this hotel left the worst impression. The only advantage is the convenient location in the city center. Upon arrival at this hotel, the administrators were very busy and could not arrange for the end of my stay and payment for my room (however, in which I am also very disappointed), they also postponed the payment the next day until 12:00, because I left the hotel in the morning on my own business and returned at 14:00 I was charged that I have to pay a fine of 200,000 soums due to late payment. It gets even worse. A hotel employee reproaches guests during breakfast, "take as much food as you will eat.".. The food is not delicious.
There are no slippers, shampoo in the room, the toilet does not work, the air conditioner does not cool, but there is a lot of noise when turned on. You can't wait for room cleaning. There is a complete discrepancy between price and quality. Don't set foot on you anymore! 🤮

In the very center of Tashkent, monolith, quality, everything in wood, imperialism! The building itself is a historical monument - where tourists are taken. Parades and tour buses start from here.
But the room stock is very old, something is falling off, breaking down. But there is a fine line here, it even has its own chic.
At the same time, there is no mold, for example, everything is very clean
There are no air conditioners, but the Soviet designers so filigreed around this problem when creating a hotel that it does not get hot there.
Everything is nearby, the whole city is in the palm of your hand, just perfect, especially for those who come to the hotel to sleep cleanly, have breakfast and rush around the sights and delicious cuisine, all kinds of antiquities all day long.

When I read the reviews before the trip, I was surprised by the review that the hotel staff were somehow helpless. But when we arrived at the hotel, I realized that it was true. We booked a large double room with a large bed. The room was paid from 14.00; and we flew at 6 a.m., i.e. late check-in. The receptionist said he couldn't find our room and put us in a room with two separate beds. He told me to come over in the afternoon. During the day, there was no longer a helpless employee. He put us in our room, which was an order of magnitude better, with different plumbing and better repairs. I asked for a kettle and bathrobes. The kettle was brought to us in the evening without cups and tea and they said that they had run out of bathrobes. But at the same time, the staff were really friendly and, as it turned out, helpless. But I still recommend this hotel. Perfect location and good value for money

The hotel is, to put it mildly, so-so. It has a great location, there are balconies with a gorgeous view (if the floor is high), friendly staff, settled earlier. But that's where all the advantages ended. We got a room on the 11th floor, after renovation, it smelled terribly of paint, and the repair consisted only in the fact that the old furniture and floor were simply painted with light paint. Of all the towels, only one was white, and the rest were gray-yellow. The sheets are in small holes.Breakfast is generally something terrible, except for boiled eggs and vegetables there is nothing to eat. Instant coffee. And if you come to breakfast late, you may not have enough food, and if you have enough, there will simply be nowhere to sit, because all the tables will be filled with dirty dishes, no one takes it away, and the cabinets on which you can put the dishes yourself were quickly forced, since there are a lot of people. Well, the last straw was that there was no hot water in the hotel. As we were told that some kind of accident and water would be given in an hour, as a result, water was not given for the entire time of our stay (1 a.m.).
In general, if there is an opportunity, it is better to choose another hotel for this money.

Everything is really bad.... The location somehow pulls this institution out of the abyss, just like the Soviet-autochthonous appearance, but otherwise the melancholy is hopeless.... We traveled with venerable, together for several days, so the challenge in the form of an elegant design solution for ventilating the toilet in the room (just the lower half of the toilet door is made in the form of a transparent grille, a system of non-closing blinds) made us only closer. But still, those who want to retire more intimately will feel uncomfortable with the urge. The furniture was killed in the last century. It is in a state where it does not yet have archaeological value, but already causes difficulties with use. The refrigerator is great! But it does not cool down. And so - great! They've seen the beds, it's good that they can't talk, but their moaning at every touch is painful and compassionate. And all this despite the fact that we were given a "great" room, as the staff messed up when checking in.

Remnants of former luxury
The hotel is, of course, large, once very beautiful, frescoes, paintings, parquet and wooden furniture. Large rooms, good beds, all hygiene items are available. But, of course, everything is tired. The bathroom is stripped, the floors are worn, but clean.
There is no Internet connection.
The view is cute, although the external structures interfere.
Breakfast and a great, varied buffet.
In general, the check mark is set. I would like to allocate a bigger budget and it would be great, but so far for four.
P.S. Look at what a cool retro design the hygiene kits have :)
