We rested here for 12 days just in shock for 50.t.r. a day, it's a horror, it's not 5 stars and not the Rixos network, but some kind of 3-star hotel.
There are not enough sun beds at the weekend, we were waiting for a sunbed to be released, we did not solve the problem at the reception, although we could look for sun beds and bring one, and we should not do this for several hours and guard who will leave.
In the toilet in the room in the evening there was a flood as they came from dinner, everything is in a puddle, the toilet is wet. The children are already going to bed, an engineer came, did something, we were offered to move to another room, it's not convenient to do it at night, collect things for at least one hour, the children already want to sleep. They were asked to clean them in the bathroom, called twice, asked to wipe the puddles, waited an hour. But they said if it drips, we need to move, so we need to spend a couple of hours of our time: to assemble and re-disassemble everything together in order to relax at sea. In such cases, it is necessary to offer customers an improved room or some kind of compliment, and not moving at 23.00 with a baby.

When you arrive or leave by taxi, they do not always help you get into the car and open the door, which is done even in not expensive hotels, although the staff is standing near the entrance. Also, when leaving, they did not help to load suitcases into the taxi, although the staff was also standing at the counter where the luggage was being handed out.
Yes, a beautiful hotel for a photo for one day, and delicious in the restaurant in the evening always fresh sashimi and rolls. This is where all the advantages ended.
For this money, this hotel of the Rixos chain, the four, is definitely not worth it, but clearly not the elite class, as they position themselves.

Everywhere there is screeching and noise from completely ill-mannered children, whom parents do not care about. This is a category of parents who have decided that EVERYTHING is possible for their children. Children allow themselves to play with a soccer ball in restaurants, while it is clear that the staff does not like it, but they are silent.
Restaurants work very strangely, the hotel is full, and the restaurants work in a staggered manner, as a result you will stand in line for PASTA, waiting time reaches 10 minutes at lunch. During the week of stay, the restaurant menu has not changed once, after eating - heaviness in the stomach, apparently it's because of the chef (judging by the dishes, he is Indian) . At lunch, one soup, a bunch of rice with Indian spices, French fries, pasta. Forget about mashed potatoes, the chef doesn't know what it is.
The room stock is luxurious, fresh, the rooms are cleaned for 5+, in restaurants, as always, crumbs are swept away on expensive leather sofas and armchairs.
Elevators are constantly breaking down, 2 are necessarily under repair, it takes a long time to get to breakfast, my children's record from the 33rd floor was 22 minutes.
The Internet is not bad, but today it crashed for 4 hours in the entire hotel.
SPA is like everywhere else, although they say that they have the best specialists of the East, they lie. $300 and you will be oiled.
There is a wonderful bar "Antidote", a good name for this hotel, it's hard to survive here without it.
Dancing near the reception at lunch (see video) it is not clear for whom . Everything is either in restaurants (on the floor below) or on the beach.

The worst Rixos I've ever been to.
Excellent building, good room filling, thoughtful use of small areas.
What was missing
- organization of staff work for two (all except reception)
- disgusting use of the sea and sea water (it would be better not to do what they call bathing in the sea at all)
- complete misunderstanding of the fact that customers go to this hotel to relax (for 3 days an excavator on a barge dug something in the strait of the backwater, then for 2 NIGHTS an excavator already worked from the shore of this backwater). It was all very loud! And very dirty.
- there is no club for teenagers ( 10-15 children are left to themselves )
Ps I'm changing the rating from 3 to 2, because after writing this review, a representative of the hotel contacted me, and instead of somehow compensating for the negative, he offered discounts for future vacations, but with the obligatory condition of deleting this review (that is, not compensation, but just a bribe). 1. the hotel was built a long time ago, it stood abandoned for 5-6 years, then it was somehow repaired by Riksos. The left half is not inhabited, the doors and windows to the balconies will be old, although the rooms themselves are good.
2. the beach is very small. even half of the hotel is not enough, when they open the second half, they will have to fight for sun beds
3. the place for swimming / bathing is extremely small (see the photo)
4. Food is just a sad song - everything is monotonous, a little something good - a huge queue and one thing in hand.
5. there is only one restaurant in the hotel and it is crowded. It's almost impossible to eat outside - the wind and annoying birds. The restaurant by the pool is nothing, but it is also monotonous
6. Reception is just some kind of kingdom of brakes. They will serve you on any, the simplest question, for at least half an hour, respectively, the queues are wild
7. Unfortunately, they quite calmly attribute expenses that you did not commit. for example, a minibar. It is impossible to prove anything.
8. Incredibly cool elevators overlooking the Persian Gulf, just WOW.
There is no buzz from the hotel and the city is not very close, but there is a mall nearby, small, category 2, so to speak.

In the restaurant, the waiters have to be caught to clean up the dirty table after other vacationers, bring clean appliances, napkins, generally darkness. After a couple of days, we realized that it was easier to get the appliances, napkins, etc. by ourselves. Self-service. As for nutrition: it's the same thing every day, but the choice is good. A lot of seafood, fruits, there are no complaints about nutrition. At 10-11 in the morning, there are no free sun beds to be found, apparently, people occupied sun beds in parallel by the sea and the pool. This, of course, is already a question more for vacationers. But the staff also has to control it somehow. The kids' club is very weak. It doesn't match its name either. They were just afraid to leave the child, no one is watching the children. There is a dangerous slide in the play area of the club, children climb there, jostle, it's scary to watch, someone looks like someone will fall. The pools are shallow, great with children, but too small for adults. The sea is controversial. In the morning, the tide turns into a puddle, after 14:00 you can swim.

The system of issuing cards, taking into account that there is only one towel delivery point, and it is at the hotel! Go drag them back and forth in the heat! In the pools, the tiles fall off, and the pool tiles are very slippery, both children and adults fall several times every day! The territory is cleaned badly, the sea and the beach too! Hello, floating packages! It is unclear what is the reason, whether there are few staff, or the staff is not trained! Although the employees themselves are trying to be seen, everyone is friendly! There is waste on the tables, empty glasses, banana peels and other garbage! The bartender at the pool can not cope alone, given that this is a holiday already out of season! With food, it is also unclear, the children will eat pasta, pizza, fries and nuggets all the rest! I wanted to drink red wine at dinner, but it didn't work out, because it's impossible to drink, it's bitter, probably we chose the cheapest possible🤣! We had a vacation with our family from May 3 to May 10, 2024. The hotel clearly does not reach the premium level - at best it is an average ordinary five.
The service is quite mediocre, you definitely haven't heard about the helpfulness inherent in premium hotels here.
The hotel is not being monitored in the best way, even though it was recently built:
- the drain in the shower room worked poorly, the grout at the tile cracked in places, the air conditioner in auto mode worked very strangely - it constantly clicked on and off;
- the wooden floor covering in one of the restaurants has swollen in several places so that you can stumble and it was simply covered with carpet;
- tiles are falling off in the large pool on the columns;
- one of the bars is being renovated on the territory - the sounds of construction work can be heard;
- the beach, if it can be called that at all (more like a large puddle), is poorly cleaned - wrappers, bags, bottles, etc. often fall under your feet on the shoreline; the bottom is not cleaned - in places it looks like the muddy bottom of the river.
I will say separately about cleaning the territory around the pool - I personally saw how a person scoops water from the pool with a dirty bucket, then washes the floor with it, pours it into a flower bed and scoops water in the pool again.
The food in the restaurants is good, but it's the same every day.
I will also pay attention to the deposit - it can be accepted in dollars / euros / dirhams, but upon eviction it can only be returned to you in dirhams. The first time we encountered this, in other hotels they took a deposit in dollars / euros / local currency everywhere, packed it in an individual envelope and returned exactly the money that we left - it's not entirely clear why I need dirhams in the last hours of my vacation ... It didn't work out with a Russian-speaking reception employee (presumably from Kazakhstan), I had to communicate with the reception manager in English and he unexpectedly offered not to take a deposit from us at all.
In summary, I would like to say that we got the impression that we were in Turkey, where the level of service is deteriorating from year to year, and not in the UAE. We will definitely not go to this hotel anymore.
