The Cascade in Yerevan is an amazing place where modern art, cultural heritage and picturesque views of the city are combined in a perfect combination. Visiting this unique complex, I felt incredibly inspired by the beautiful sculptures, interesting exhibitions and cozy cafes overlooking the mountains. Every corner of the Cascade is permeated with an atmosphere of creativity and beauty, which makes it an ideal place for walks, photo shoots and spiritual meetings. Thanks to such places, Yerevan becomes even more attractive for tourists and residents of the city. I recommend everyone to get acquainted with this amazing place and enjoy its unique atmosphere!

I recently visited the Cascade in Yerevan, and it was an amazing experience! This architectural work of art not only attracts with its majestic view, but also offers incredible opportunities for walking and enjoying the atmosphere of the city.
Climbing the steps of the Cascade is not just a physical activity, but a real excursion. At each level, new panoramas of Yerevan and Ararat open up, which are simply fascinating. I especially remember the sunset view — the city is shrouded in soft light, and the mountains look especially majestic.
The cascade also pleases with a variety of sculptures and art objects that add uniqueness to this place. It's nice that there are always a lot of people here — both locals and tourists, which creates a special atmosphere of friendliness and fun.
I can't help but mention the cafes and restaurants located nearby — a great place to relax and enjoy delicious Armenian cuisine after a long walk.
In general, the Cascade is a must—visit point in Yerevan. I am sure that everyone will find something for themselves here!

A good view of the city from above - advice: it's better to go down than up)) Beautifully decorated with greenery. Clear. There is a fountain and a recreation area on each level. Inside there is a museum of modern art and escalators. It is convenient that you can go outside and cool down in an air-conditioned room + do not go up / down on foot)) There is also an exhibition of various modern sculptures downstairs.

Every time I arrive in Yerevan, one of the first places that I definitely visit is the Cascade. This amazing place has become a real find for me and a symbol of the city.
The cascade is not just a staircase, it is a real architectural ensemble that impresses with its beauty and scale. On the way up, there are breathtaking views of Yerevan and the majestic Mount Ararat. Every time I climb the steps, I admire again how this project harmoniously fits into the urban landscape.
The cascade is filled with fountains, sculptures and green spaces, creating an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility. Here you can not only enjoy the beauty of nature, but also see many art installations that make this place even more attractive.
I hope that the Cascade will be fully completed soon. Its completion will add even more significance to this wonderful place and open up new horizons for visitors.
In general, the Cascade is a must—visit place for everyone who comes to Yerevan. I always leave there with a feeling of inspiration and joy. I recommend it to anyone who wants to plunge into the atmosphere of this beautiful city!

Cascade is one of the wonderful places in Yerevan. There are very nice cafes at the foot. They're all good, I checked. You can walk up, but I took the escalator. Next to him in the lifting gallery are magnificent designer statues and various art objects. You drive and admire. And above there are wonderful playgrounds with flowers and fountains. But the main thing is the view of Ararat! It is beautiful at any time of the day. There you can feel the strongest energy of this holy mountain and Yerevan, which is located below.

The cascade in Yerevan is one of the famous attractions. It is convenient to visit it moving from top to bottom, but you can also do the opposite. Athletic people cross it on foot, but you can also take the escalator. The height from the foot is 302m, and the number of steps is 572. On each of the five available steps of the cascade there are convenient platforms with benches and a fountain dedicated to its theme. This place looks like an open-air museum, with works of modern art on display. I would like to see the cascade fully completed in the future. And as it is written in Luke 14:28: "Suppose one of you decides to build a tower. Won't he first sit down and calculate the costs to see if he has enough funds to finish it?" I hope that someday this will happen and the cascade will become a full-fledged attraction of Yerevan, attracting residents and tourists.

An interesting place. A lot of people are walking down by the sculptures. Beautiful and original sculptures. The staircase itself is beautiful, many cool photos can be taken as a keepsake. At the highest point of the Cascade, the center of Yerevan is in the palm of your hand. As for the museum inside the Cascade, the chairs, the car, and other exhibits are not very clear. I'm curious to see it once.

A great place to walk and just relax! The museum is under the covered sky! There are a lot of cafes around for every taste. It's great to spend time here both in the afternoon and in the evening. The view from the Cascade is beautiful at any time. But personally, in the evening, especially, I like to take a coffee and savor the rhythm and flavor of this city... mmm

The area in front of the Cascade is quite interesting :)) There are very unusual sculptures there. Well, modern art, it is like that))
The staircase itself is cool, the central part with fountains. Nicely.
The minus star is, unfortunately, for the unfinished top of the cascade. From there, the views would be generally fire 🔥

The staircase is super, I really liked it, there is a great view of the city from above, and the physical activity is excellent, although there is an escalator inside, the fountains are very beautiful, the lighting. I would like it to be completed, trees planted on the sides or something else, improved. But, disappointment and bewilderment about the sculptures, naked Atlanteans with multicolored lighting are not in the subject at all, at the bottom of the sculpture... some nonsense, a blue kiwi, a fat woman... The cascade is one of the attractions of the city, these sculptures disfigure and devalue.

Despite the unfinished construction, it is very cool. The Museum (?) contemporary art on every level. The escalator is open for up to 20 hours.
It's time to go in the evening. We were lucky to have a concert dedicated to Charles Aznavour. It's very atmospheric.
Well, it's just worth going upstairs to look at the city.

One of the monumental monuments of late Soviet architecture, made in the form of a cascade with terraces.
It connects the central Kentron district with the Kanaker-Zeitoun district. Designed by architects Jim Torosyan, Aslan Mkhitaryan and Sargis Gurzadyan, the construction of the cascade began in 1971 and was partially completed in 1980.
By 2024, the upper part remains unfinished, but a completion project has already been developed, the implementation of which is scheduled in the near future.

Funny and sometimes strange sculptures, there is something to see :) There is an escalator to get to the very top, but it is worth considering that it is open until 20:00. After that, you will have an independent ascent - 560 steps up, but it should be noted that the steps themselves are comfortable and climbing is not a problem. The concept, scale and execution are impressive. Terraces and a cascade of waterfalls are very beautifully inscribed into the mountainside. Each terrace is both similar to the previous one and, at the same time, peculiar. Each one has interesting sculptures, national ornaments, bas-reliefs of birds and animals. Very beautiful! The Cascade was built in the last XX century in the Art Deco style of light travertine. It was opened in 1980 by architects Jim Torosyan and Aslan Mkhitaryan. The height of the cascade is 78 meters. An underground tunnel with escalators is laid along the entire Cascade (for the lazy or for bad weather). The exhibits of the Gafeschyan Art Center are located in the tunnel. Each terrace has an entrance to the museum. Unfortunately, the Cascade is not completed! The upper part was supposed to connect with the square of the 50th anniversary of the revolution, but it was never completed. There is a grandiose ruin and abandonment. The locals say that it can no longer be completed. it is necessary to demolish everything and do it all over again. Too many years have passed!

We took a lot of photos, but we couldn't upload everything here. The building itself is recognizable, perfectly integrated into the landscape and urban environment. And the next day I found out about the escalator, on which you can climb to the very top))) It is located to the left of the stairs. The escalator itself is interesting because interesting sculptures are also placed along the course of its movement. If you have time, then you can sit on the Cascade near the fountains, look at the city. In general, this is a very pleasant place to relax, there are a lot of young people there.
