There are local Kazakh pushers at the entrance to the Kazakh checkpoint - they are also accomplices of the Kazakh border guards, who promise to take you quickly for money. There are several of them, they fuss and mess with your head, strive to get into your car, run from the border guards to you, chatter something in their gibberish. There are no signs at the entrance to the checkpoint, in any language, you have to guess where to go or ask those standing nearby who will not help you in any way, because they do not know Russian. Local people benefit from ignorance of languages, perhaps they just pretend that they do not know Russian and English. The border guards are brazenly rude, rude, threatening not to let them through, they are allegedly fined for everything, they are treated very rudely, they extort money openly in Russian: give me money, give me a tip, put a bill in your passport. They pull you out of the traffic, put you in the outermost lane and openly speak in Russian: if you don't give us money, we won't let you through, put the car aside, you'll stand until the evening. They threaten to turn back and not let them through the border. They create an artificial traffic jam. If you ask questions, they turn away and leave, supposedly they don't understand Russian. In general, border guards look like dubious people who do not know information and languages. On July 15, 2025, a medium-sized, chubby young man worked, the second employee was short with freckles, and the third employee was older. It's impossible to see their names because they're on the move all the time. Each of these border guards wants money, everyone wants to grab at least a little. A whole gang and mafia. It's scary to ask for help, you're afraid to call someone, and they'll make you feel guilty. Shame on Kazakhstan, shame on the border guards, who are the face of the country – so draw conclusions. How can you respect your border guards and customs officers after this? They are also considered Muslims. The impression is sharply negative. With all this, there was no inspection of the car as such. Do not be lazy to take a picture of the quarter code, leave an opinion about autotourism in Kazakhstan. The Uzbek border - yes, the inspection is very long, absolutely everything is checked!
