We visited this institution, the impressions are very ambiguous, rather negative than positive.Well, there was definitely no excitement and desire to return.They sat at a small table in the center of the hall, it was very uncomfortable, while not all the tables in the booths were occupied.They threw the menu on the table, and for 20 minutes they completely forgot about us, the waiters scurried past, and we sat turning our heads around like poor relatives at a celebration of life with rich relatives.Then some waiter deigned to come up, saying that there was a button on the table to call if they didn't come up for a long time.The order arrived, oddly enough, quickly. At the same time, they brought me everything at once, almost simultaneously, and fresh, and an alcoholic cocktail, and soup and hot. So sit and drink a Margarita with ice and eat a pickle, and let the second one get cold at all..The portions are large, the soup is almost half a pot..The food tastes quite ordinary, it did not cause gastronomic ecstasy.The Wi-Fi worked extremely poorly, then disappeared altogether.They called a taxi by asking for Wi-Fi in a nearby cafe. One of the advantages is a nice interior, and a very tasty watermelon fresh. That's probably all.

Initially, we did not plan to go to this particular restaurant. All the restaurants nearby that have a higher rating turned out to be busy, we decided to go to the Caucasian Captive! How wrong we were, the restaurant turned out to be the best restaurant in Yerevan! Very tasty food and excellent service. I had to wait a bit for service and food, but this is a full landing - everything is ok)

Absolutely not friendly from the entrance, the waiter was angry that in addition to the 10% that are included in the receipt, they no longer left him a tip. And he didn't hesitate to voice it. A very atmospheric place, the interior is in the style of a movie. I really liked the footage from the film, the painted on the walls, the catch phrases.
Very tasty cuisine, fast service (we chose it longer than we cooked). Friendly staff, special thanks to waiter Vardan.
The place is popular, so it's better to book a table in advance.

I can't estimate it because we couldn't get there within a week. We came in several times, all the questions were answered dismissively that there were no seats and nothing could be booked, it seemed like everything was occupied and the reservation was scheduled for the next 10 years. Maybe the girls at the reception didn't like us, or maybe they are taking revenge on vacationers for having a rest. After the second such appeal, they stopped coming in - there are a lot of restaurants in Yerevan.

We ate breakfast here only after arriving in Armenia. Fast service, although the waiters seemed too harsh to me. The surroundings are great! Without a doubt, I can say that the entire restaurant is made according to the canons of the film "The Caucasian Captive" there are many different sculptures on the film. Definitely worth a visit. Scrambled eggs with basturma seemed very salty to me, well, it's a matter of taste. The price tag is average. 4 out of 5
