An interesting historical place. There were fierce battles here, troops from St. Petersburg helped to expel Napoleon and his army from Polotsk, a lot of blood was shed in this place, for which the bridge was named Krasny. There is a stone and a commemorative plaque with a historical reference in Russian near the bridge.

An interesting place, especially the river below it. Fast and mesmerizingly beautiful, deep and dark. Definitely need to walk across the bridge. It's beautiful all around.
