Cute place. Not so stately but it has it's own charm. Combination of mini resort and antiquities. Worth to be visited for a couple of hours.

We took a minibus from Kemer for the whole day .they take you straight to the cash register, if there is no huge traffic jam.It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the ticket office to Phaselis (we were in August, in the hottest weather. it's better to cover up so as not to get burned) Beauty😍 A beautifully preserved Roman ancient city (ruins). There is an amphitheater, baths, a marina, and the paving stones of the central street. There's no cafe on site, it's better to take a snack with you. The beach is shallow and has black sand, and there are a lot of locals with tents and umbrellas.

If you love ancient history, then you should definitely visit this place. In addition, there is a nice sandy beach, toilet, shower, changing rooms, two cafes. There is a TA08 bus to the ticket office at the museum, and then if you walk, the distance is about 1.5 km. You can also drive by car, and there are plenty of parking spaces. There is a special feature: the entrance costs 100 lira for Turks, 10 euros for the rest, while the cashier refused to take money in euros and asked for lira. There were 7 of us and we didn't have that many lira with us, the guide helped us out and was able to exchange the currency for us. We took a taxi back. The taxi driver charged $25 to Kemer. Have a good rest, everyone.

A very atmospheric place to visit. especially if you are vacationing in Kemer and the surrounding area. You can get from the city center by bus in about half an hour. 2-in-1 location: ruins of an ancient city and a beach. You can see how archaeologists work. The bay is shallow, sandy, with clear water; children feel especially good after a sharp sunset in Kemer. There are rocks, especially near the shore, so it's better to take shoes. There are also spoonfuls of tar. 1. The entrance ticket is quite expensive. If the family is large, then a visit can hit the budget. At the same time, it will take a couple of hours at most to explore the ruins, the theater and the old town. We met compatriots who quickly inspected everything in half an hour and were very unhappy with the cost. In my opinion, you need to take your time and enjoy what you see, but nevertheless, the cost/impression ratio clearly outweighs the cost. 2. Traffic jams from cars at the entrance and exit. Turks also really like to relax here (for them the cost is 5 times cheaper). Therefore, the beach will be crowded. 3. If you get there on your own by bus, then get ready to walk from the ticket office to the city along the side of the road and in the sun for about a kilometer. There and then back. If you go by car, it's better during business hours, there will be fewer people. 4. The entrance fee is in euros, but you have to pay in lira. Therefore, you need to find out the actual cost of entry in lira according to the exchange rate, and prepare this amount in advance. There is no way to change the currency on the spot, there is nowhere. 5. There are no toilets on the beach itself (maybe I'm wrong, but I didn't find it), no shops, and I can't even buy water. We need to take everything with us. I advise you to familiarize yourself with the history of the city a little before traveling, then it will be more interesting, because otherwise there will be almost no information on the spot.

If possible, be sure to visit. Admission is 10 euros, but the payment is charged only in lira. There is a bus service from/to Kemer. Right up to the entrance. There are cool locations for taking photos. And so you can wander through the ruins of the old city, through the necropolis in the thickets, swim in the coves without fuss, without urging guides. It is better to go in the morning, stock up on water and provisions, take swimsuits and towels. We walked until the evening. Please note that the population of nearby towns and villages organizes picnics there.

A unique place. It is a fairly large ancient city, there is even a wide street with remnants of residential buildings, a well-preserved aqueduct, and a small amphitheater. The beautiful, picturesque bay adds to the experience. We took a regular bus from Kemer to get to the city. Admission is 10 euros per person, but it's worth it.

A very interesting place! An antiquity that is so many years old and has been so well preserved to this day! It is also interesting to look at the excavations that are underway here. And there are wonderful views of the bay all around. There are beaches! Emerald water! Of course, there are a lot of people. There are rooms to change clothes. Toilets. Well, they leave a lot to be desired. But attention is not focused on them when there is beauty and the warm sea around!

A very atmospheric place, certainly worthy of attention. An ancient city with 2 agors, mosaic remains, well-preserved small thermal baths, an aqueduct and a gorgeous beach. Be sure to bring a swimsuit and a towel, and you can have a great time on the gorgeous beach (there are no changing rooms and no showers), the water is clean.

Must-visit for people who are interested in history. A beautiful bay with clear water and beautiful views. Preserved Roman baths, amphitheater, embankment, aqueduct, stone steps directly into the water. The age is over 2,600 years old, if memory serves. You can get there by Yandex.Taxi by paying with a card directly in the app. It is very convenient, the application converts itself into lira. You can come for half a day, there are no changing rooms, swimsuits and towels should be taken with you.

Phacelis as ruins is interesting, but it is completely unkempt, the buildings are dirty in the ruins of houses, everything is covered in weeds and garbage. Parking is right next to the relics of the ancient city, the beach is the same name, too, all dirty. They charge such an obviously overpriced price (especially after inspection), it comes. The local population holds a barbecue right in the ruins (on the excavation site.) Restoration work is underway, but after a year, there is a lot of garbage.

Entrance can only be paid in lira or euros, by bank card (not the WORLD, mine didn't take a ride). It was interesting to climb the ancient streets and buildings, there are signs on the territory describing the purpose of the premises. Phaselis is located between two bays, Fri-Sun there are many locals on the sandy beach, the color of the water is incomparable.

An ancient and beautiful city, with three beautiful bays nearby. It is best to swim in the second, there is the smoothest approach. The third is small and there are many locals who come there with small children. Ships often enter the bays, where foam parties are held, and music can be heard from the shore. You can climb the ruins, which children may especially enjoy. There is a cafe at the entrance, they sell juice, water, ice cream, sandwiches, cookies, souvenirs too.

I really like to relax in this place. Yes, there are a lot of visitors in summer, both among tourists and locals. But for me it's worth it. Clean water with small fish, ruins of an ancient city, the sun, pine needles. The only thing is that the bottom is with sharp rocks in places, it's better to have slippers for swimming.

A great place for a self-guided tour from Kemer. There is an 08 bus, you can get out in front of the tunnel and save 10 euros per person, walk along the Lycian trail, swim on the beach, but you need comfortable shoes and the road is not the easiest, you need water and a light snack with you

It's worth a trip here to enjoy the remains of one of the ancient Greek cities of Lycia, which stands among the pines and the sea. It will take a couple of hours to explore all the ruins at a leisurely pace. You can get here by bus from Kemer. It is better to arrive after 16 hours so as not to get into the heat. It is mandatory to have money with you for admission of 10 euros / person. It is better to have money exchanged for a tour.lyres.

I really liked it! We took a family trip on our own from Kemer by minibus #8. The start is from the mosque, and there are 315 liras for passage to the circle. I don't know why, but they took less back. The entrance to the museum is 10 euros per person, the payment is only in lira or by card (this is important)! The ruins themselves... Well, ruins, ruins, there are probably a lot of them in ancient historical places, including in Russia. There are many water turtles at the entrance to the swamp, and at the exit we met a peacock in free access. We are happy with the trip! I definitely recommend you to visit!

Phaselis was on my list of things to see. I went on a guided tour, our guide Samayat told me wonderfully and professionally about the history of this place! In fact, it is impossible to describe in words the range of emotions and thoughts when you are in such a historical and ancient place! To think that Alexander the Great himself once set foot there, and now you're following in his footsteps! The place is full of history preserved through the ages! I definitely recommend it to lovers and connoisseurs of history and archeology! 👍🏻

Admission in 2024 has risen in price - 10 euros per person. They paid in lira, but the price was indicated in euros (apparently, now they accept not only lira). From Chamyuva, you can take the A08 minibus for 35 liras. In my opinion, such an entry price is not very justified. There are ruins of an ancient city, of which the aqueduct and the theater are well preserved. Well, some bas-reliefs on some interior details. There are also several picturesque coves. Judging by the OSM maps, you can get here for free on foot from Chamyuva past the main checkpoint, but I haven't tried.

It is definitely worth visiting Phaselis. Even if you are not a fan of ruins, it is still worth coming here. The nature is very beautiful here. In addition, you can come here for a whole day for a beach holiday. Not far from the ruins there are bays where yachts with tourists (including from Kemer) sail. In Phaselis they make a stop for swimming. And the locals come here in cars with folding tables and chairs and spend the whole day. And if you like active recreation, then you will have the opportunity to walk along the Lycian trail along the coast. Sometimes the trail rises to a decent height and you find yourself on observation decks with stunning views. Beautiful music can be heard from the yachts somewhere, and the indescribable smell of pine trees is in the air. Incredible atmosphere! Entrance to the Phaselis costs 10 euros. You can also pay in lira. There is a cafe trailer and free toilets on the territory of the ancient city. How to get there on your own from Kemer, detailed info will be in the tg channel @letaemsami

Well-preserved ancient ruins, beautiful aqueduct, amphitheater. It is inconvenient to get there, you have to walk about 1 km from the ticket office along the side of the road in the sun. The problem is to leave, the bus rarely runs, and you need to call a taxi by phone, there is no parking place. The best option is to take a taxi and arrange a return trip. There is no point in renting a car, it takes 10 minutes to get to Temirova, and a little more to Kemer.

I got there on my own from Kemer. It's a long walk from the bus stop. It's hard in the heat. I went around everything quickly in 2 hours, I was limited in time. Amazing! I love ancient cities. Many people mistakenly write about Ancient Greece, but these are the remnants of the Lycian state. Gorgeous viaduct, harbors, central alley, agora, baths, theater, tombstones. There is an assumption that Alexander the Great is under one of the slabs. The story is real. Locals are allowed to have picnics. It looks a little strange. Entrance tickets are too expensive (and only in lira) if you travel with your family. But there is a Lycian trail through the mountains (I didn't dare).

A huge number of people come to spend time on a picnic, swim, etc. And all this is among the ruins of antiquity. I really liked that there are toilets, changing rooms and a shower. Excavations are underway for the period of June 2025. But there's still something to see. Majestic arches, the remains of the city, columns, an amphitheater and all this in a coniferous forest by the sea. The photos are very beautiful. The main disadvantage is the price - it seems to me that the Turks are just getting impudent in the season. They charge 10 euros from the nose. (although the price is 5 times lower on the official website) It's not very convenient by bus, it's a long way from the highway to the beginning of the city. There is a taxi, you can get to Kemer for $ 20 if you bargain, which we did. The taxi driver drove us past the border post, where we paid for the entrance, right to the entrance of Phaselis. Some people write that you can get through somewhere, but I don't know, we didn't look and we don't know.

Phaselis is an amazing place where history harmoniously combines with natural beauty. It is a small ancient open-air museum city located in a picturesque bay of the Mediterranean Sea. It is very easy to get to it even without excursions – we took a minibus from Tekirova. We were at the end of May 2024, the water in the bay is already very warm, so be sure to take swimsuits. We recommend that you come on a weekday, as it can be crowded on weekends, especially due to the influx of locals. There are traffic jams at the entrance. Therefore, it is worth considering that sometimes minibuses do not reach the entrance / exit, and you have to walk to a place where you can catch them. The impressions of Phaselis are the most pleasant: clean air, stunning views, ancient atmosphere and the opportunity to combine cultural holidays with beach holidays. We definitely recommend you to visit!

I got to Phaselis for the first time about... 12 years ago. I was amazed by the preservation and careful attitude to the culture, which seemed alien to modern Turks. Luxurious descriptions in several languages, including excellent literary Russian - a rarity at that time. For the second year in a row, there is a total war... let's call it reconstruction: the ruins are excavated, cleared, blocks are sorted and a new model is built from them. Some of the destroyed fragments are replaced with concrete mortar. With the silence there now too... And there are more tourists, and a lot of construction equipment, and builders have fenced off areas for themselves. Mostly for picnics, which seems to be done more than, actually, construction. Additional bonus - there is a yacht parking in the bay. And our compatriots walk on yachts. Tagil in full growth 🤬

It takes 15-20 minutes to drive from the village of Tekirova to Phaselis, no more, we arrived very quickly. Admission is paid in Turkish lira (~400 trl), so it's worth changing them beforehand if you are going to visit this attraction yourself. To be honest, we didn't really prepare for this tour and didn't read much, there was no guide with us, so we decided to just take a walk, and the places are very pleasant. After walking the entire main street and looking at the ruins, having explored the ancient theater a little, we came to a very beautiful bay with an excellent beach. We didn't see it ourselves, but the locals constantly warned about the presence of snakes. Be careful! There were many cars and motorcycles parked near the ruins of aqueduct. There are mini cafes with ice cream and water on the site. We decided to turn right from the arches first. After walking a little through the forest along the path, we came to a small bay with black sandy sand (volcanic rock). There is a beautiful view of Takhtaly Mountain. Gorgeous mountains, magnificent view of the combination of sea and mountains at the same time. Unfortunately, the place was unclean, there was garbage. If we assume that this is a beach, then it is a very dirty beach. Although the water was clear, there was sand on the bottom instead of the usual pebbles for Kemer, which is pleasing. Some construction work was going on nearby. The water here was much warmer than in the open sea. Even the children were swimming. There was a toilet and a shower nearby. Everything is unkempt, but toilet paper is available. Summary - it's worth visiting Phaselis, but it's better with a guide or having studied the topic in detail on your own.
