It is better to catch him at the beginning of the route in the city, because when you get hooked on Dostyk (Lenin), you will have to get into a full bus. A great place to ride with a company, there is a place to relax, have a snack and drink tea between descents. There aren't many people, but we rode on weekdays, I can't judge about weekends. Among the disadvantages, slow lifts, I would like to go faster (25-30 minutes to the top from 2 stations) and partially encountered ice coating on the slopes, which creates difficulties for beginners. But this, judging by February 2023, the period of snowfall did not please.

One of the best ski resorts I've been to. Great infrastructure, stunning views, good long lists. We rode there for a week, the only thing that marred the rest was the rescuers, who were waiting for 1.5 hours when a friend injured his leg on the mountain, while no one came, we had to go down on foot without skis with a hip injury...and so everything is great, I advise you 😁

The resort itself is good, but the administration squeezes out everything they can with New Year's prices, today 01.01.2024 everyone who came to ride at the noon fare found out at the checkout that they sell only for "the whole day" because tickets for 12.30 -17 - "ended" and a ticket for half a day of skiing from 13 to 17 hours cost 14200 tenge... and the whole queue who arrived at 12 was forced to buy an all-day ticket or go back to the city... there was a lot of outrage in the queues, the administration ruined its reputation... conclusion - on New Year's Eve you need to go to Akbulak or to a forest fairy tale, and to cimbulak after the holidays... by the way, the tracks were half-empty - on January 1, it is clear, but there were a lot of tourists who just went up and looked, so the queues were huge, because the tracks were half-empty. I can conclude that the administration considered that they would not make a New Year's ticket office for the sale of half-day passes today and canceled them... by raising prices on the hype and on the fact that people who have arrived have nowhere to go... There is no information on the website that tickets in some categories may "run out"...

We were at the resort on 02/13.24. the highest slope was closed due to snowfall. I had to go down a difficult route for beginners. Having fallen awkwardly, I sprained a ligament. Literally immediately, a policeman Armand appeared next to me, who called the rescuers on the radio. Valery, the rescuer, arrived in a matter of minutes, carefully loaded me into a sledge and carefully delivered me to the medical center. Only Valery knows how he managed to descend so quickly and smoothly from the mountainside with a load. Apparently, dexterity, skill and experience had an effect. At the medical center, they took him by the arms and escorted him to the office, where real first aid was provided. I don't remember the name of the orderly - let him forgive me-I was shocked by the fall and the pain- but the guy is just a good girl,! I was in the Ambulance from my shift and then I examined it very carefully, first applied ice, then bandaged my leg according to all the rules and instructed in detail. Thank you very much to all the staff of the medical center, to the rescuers separately-low bow- for the professionalism, speed and responsible attitude to work and to us mountain skiers.
