A gorgeous place, three lifts climbed to the highest point, the amazing beauty of nature, hiking is very developed, everything is at altitude, polite staff, the weather is 10-11 degrees at the highest point, you either need to dress warmly or you can rent a plaid in equipment - it costs 1000 tenge, going back and forth per person costs 5000 tenge.
I recommend this place, the beauty is breathtaking
I would also like to return to the ski resort in winter.

In short, we really liked the resort. The trails are mainly for advanced skiing, I do not recommend going to the red slopes without preparation, but there are also blue zones for beginners, at the very top is Talgar. All the infrastructure is present, the prices are adequate! I recommend downloading the resort's mobile app in advance, and already there you can apply for ski passes, insurance, and bonuses.
When buying a skipass, it is possible to pay only for the current day. The only drawback is the huge number of visitors during the holidays, among whom there are many newcomers on the boards, be careful, this is a direct attack of some kind.

It is very crowded, although we were in September in bad weather, there are few places for such a large number of tourists. Maybe you should think about additional entertainment to disperse the visitors.. Thanks to the cafes at the intermediate station, which save the day a little.

We were in September. Insanely beautiful funicular road. We were lucky, we drove all the way only with our family. There was no hype. The third lift was under repair. Restaurants on the first site. Very nice view. There is a lift between the first platform and the second. You can go up or down on it.

It is worth getting to medeu if you are in Almaty. Beautiful views, there are cafes, there are parking lots, queues at the ticket offices are not very large, 5-7 minutes on average and you are the ticket holder, the booths are quite decent, if you go in the middle of the week, then there are not very many people. Although it gets colder in the evening and, of course, it is more comfortable in it. The only thing that upsets is the wild queues for funiculars, even on weekdays, you have to stand for an hour. It's good that there are cozy cafes where you can keep warm and wait out the hype.
