We had a rest in the last week of summer in a Fairy Tale. Beautiful views, friendly hosts, about 12 minutes to the sea, if not quite walking distance. If necessary, we were provided with a decanter for brewing tea and everything necessary for this. The towels were cleaned and changed every other day, more often and it was not necessary. The Wi-Fi was working fine in the room. GSM communication, in the style of the plot of Kusturica's film, worked perfectly only under the eucalyptus tree in the courtyard (the antenna was mounted on it). There was a slight separation from civilization. But that's what they came here for! Thanks to the "fabulous" hosts and staff!

The kitchen is not working, there is only a microwave and an electric kettle alone in the basement. They don't give you any dishes. There is one glass per person in the room and one plate for everyone. They asked for at least cups to drink tea, and said, "Drink from the glasses." Well, thanks for that, too. WiFi catches only at the reception desk, and a little further away it doesn't. Disposable shampoos and shower gels were given one apiece only upon check-in. They said it wasn't allowed anymore. Towels are given out with stains and holes, they are already crumbling with age. There are no sockets near the beds, the light in the room is only shared, the TV often does not catch on. The curtains are covered in huge spots. With all this, there are simply a huge number of forbidding signs throughout the guest house. It's like you're in prison. The pool is small and shallow, with a maximum depth of 1.3m, more suitable for children. You can swim only until 22:00. The sun beds and tiles around the pool are dirty. There are building materials in the shower by the pool. There are no partitions between the balconies, please note that you will be shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. They say everywhere that there are 135 steps up to the hotel. Please note that the steps are the most pleasant part of the road, and it takes about 7 minutes to climb the stairs at 45 degrees. With the heat and the wild humidity, it 's a little hard . In the evening, most of the road to the house is not illuminated. On the plus side: the view of the mountains is really beautiful. There is a tennis table, rackets and balls are provided. The rooms are spacious. There are flowering trees on the territory that smell incredible. Well, that's it.

We stayed in the Fairy Tale in the period from 29.12.24 to 05.01.2025. We celebrated the new year in a warm, friendly company, it was warm and fun. The manager, Liana, and her family are very warm-hearted and pleasant. They receive guests like relatives. The rooms are clean and warm, bed linen and towels were changed frequently, and cleaning was also carried out regularly. They responded quickly and clearly to any requests of a domestic nature. The hotel is located in the mountains, but it is possible to walk down to the sea, in winter it is a fascinating walk through the atmospheric streets, with an Abkhazian flavor. Everything is green, you walk and admire the ripe fruits of lemons, tangerines, kiwis, flowering bananas, even passion fruit met along the way. The rooms have a sea view with balconies and the view is of course stunning on the mighty eucalyptus trees and the sea. It is especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. There is a heated pool in which we swam in the mornings and looked at the stunning beauty of the mountains, the only thing I think is that the pool needs to be cleaned better before the season. The hotel has a generator, so when there were power outages, we always had the light on. The Internet is available, it catches well. But sometimes on the third floor, in the rooms where we stayed, he disappeared. The broadcast of channels on TV often disappeared. The bed linen is clean but old, but it doesn't matter so much when the atmosphere is so warm in general. There was always hot water and with good pressure. I especially liked the emotional stories of Liana, with whom we talked for a long time during breakfasts and dinners, as if we had known each other for a very long time. In general, we went to Abkhazia, the land of the soul, and we met sincere people there and the impressions remained the warmest. And if I want to go back there, then this place is worthy of five stars.
