We stayed at this hotel for the first time 12 years ago.Over the years, we have visited Hainan Island more than 9 times.We stayed only at this hotel all the time (we went to different hotels and compared them in many ways, including price and quality).Over the years, the hotel has been changing all the time and not for the better.About "+" this is a close location to the sea,a large, well-groomed territory,excellent dinners, a large amount of greenery, a good price, bottled water is provided free of charge in large quantities.Towels for both beach and shower are changed at least several times a DAY. Tea, coffee, shower accessories, toothbrushes and toothpaste are given out new every day.Bathrobes, slippers are clean or new every other day.The luxurious bed linen and accessories were changed every other day.The room has everything you need and even more (safe, kettle,dishes, refrigerator,)Pillows were replaced immediately after treatment (filled with buckwheat, laces, silk, synthetic materials, different sizes)The room is large and bright (we have taken different rooms for all the years, but for the last five years we have been booking at least the fifth floor of the ponaramic Ocean with a large balcony and three walls completely glazed "to the floor") If you book half a year in advance, it comes out cheap (for a month of living 150t.₽ for two with extra beds). About "-" this quality of breakfasts and the assortment have become much worse (fruits in a minimum quantity and meat dishes have practically disappeared), instead of tea (it used to be packaged) there is now an incomprehensible dark-colored liquid.They constantly make repairs in the corridors, without completely closing the building for repair.The biggest problem is the minimum number of sun beds in the pools (you won't find any free ones by 8:00) and the almost absence of them on the beach.I tried to find it at 8:00, 7:30 and 7:00- it was useless.There are 53 umbrellas in total for three hotel buildings, not counting the fact that more than 20 hotels located nearby and a large number of apartment buildings (up to 32 fl.) that have "grown up" and inhabited over the past few years do not have their own beaches and sun beds.The sand on the beach is not cleaned as in Europe and in the sea the water has become much less salty due to the large amount of wastewater and treated sewage after VOCs and considering that this is a bay (the exchange of seawater is less than in the open sea.The doors to the balcony are aluminum and in many rooms they do not close completely (the room is not cooled properly, audibility increases, smells from the barbecue of the street restaurant, mosquitoes, on any floor in the evening).Rusty stands for drying clothes on the balcony (although made of stainless steel).A good doctor has been working at the clinic (at the hotel) for the third year, but the prices of herbs have increased several times.Needles and general massage have been reduced (competition affects).The rooms are not poorly cleaned.But the corners and under the beds, under the sofa, table and in hard-to-reach places were not cleaned even once during the month of our stay.During the first days of check-in, you have to remind the staff that at night (after 2, 3 a.m.) they do not save on electricity at the expense of the guests and do not turn off the air conditioner (unfortunately, it is central in the hotel).After these reminders, there are no problems until the departure (thank you for at least responding to complaints).I'm not talking about cleaning the balcony at all.They have never been removed.As a 5* hotel, it is no longer possible to rate this hotel.A maximum of 3 * plus (with a big stretch).The hotel is over 16 years old.Many glasses ( cloudy )and the doors (with large gaps, slits) must be completely replaced.By the way, the staff is excellent.In the last two years, Russian speakers have appeared at the reception desk.The best months to relax on the island (according to my own observations) It's November and December.There is practically no rain.A little breeze.There is no heat and stuffiness.From mid-December to the end of January, prices for hotel accommodation are raised and most of the Chinese vacationers at this time, who come from the north to rest on Catholic Christmas in NG and NG Chinese.Cards are not accepted everywhere.Before paying with a card, find out if you have been included 3.5-5% of the invoice amount for non-cash payment.It is better to withdraw cash from an ATM (standing in the lobby).You can change ₽ or $ or € for Russian speakers (but not for guides) in the medical center or in small shops on the embankment for 6.95 (in the hotel 6,8).Souvenirs, especially pearls, are better not to buy if you do not understand.Many sellers give out pressed powder from river pearls or from a shell rolled onto a round plastic ball for sea pearls (do not determine by scraping the pearls, only by shining a flashlight from your phone, you can detect a fake).They have learned to forge EVERYTHING from pearls and watches to tea and food.

We had a family vacation at this hotel. Our room was without a balcony, the reception added 500rubles and the order, we got a room with a balcony. And the second floor. The staff is friendly. The service is excellent. We had breakfasts and dinners. The choice of dishes is large. It can be found for both a child and an adult. In the evening, there is a barbecue on the veranda. Different types of meat and seafood. They are fried right there, in front of you. You can choose several products yourself and serve them to the cook. And he'll roast it right away and give it to you. There was only beer from alcohol, and I personally had enough beer. If there's something stronger, then go to the store. There is a large selection of alcohol in the shops. You can sit at the table until you turn blue and completely gluttony. Desserts are delicious too. My wife says there is a richer assortment in Turkey, I do not know, I have never been. The hotel has three swimming pools, one of them is for children (45cm). There is a treatment center next to the far pool. They do diagnostics there for free. And then it depends on you. How much money are you willing to spend on your health? The beach is very close, 2 minutes walk. A beach with sun beds and umbrellas. In general, there is a video about this hotel on the Internet. Vacationers were filming, everything is as it is. I mean, what it looks like. The reviews may be different, but I really like it. There is a children's leisure center in the basement. Very good indeed. But the continuous stay time is 2 hours. Maybe if you leave and then come back in a few hours, you can do it again for 2 hours. These are my guesses, I do not really know how. We left early. The room was vacated at 6 a.m. A dry bag was supposed to be left for us at the reception, but it was not there. This is the only joint. But it's not the hotel's fault. Travel agency, organizational issue in general. Someone forgot to warn someone. Look online. There's a lot about this hotel. The hotel is great. You won't regret it.

Dignities: 1. I liked the location of the complex in the center of Dadonghai Bay, on the first line by the sea (less than 5 minutes walk from the room to the beach). 2. Satisfactory condition of the room: the area is large, the bathroom is combined, but spacious. 3. Three swimming pools in the closed territory of the hotel are maintained in a clean condition. Among them there is a children's pool - warm and safe with a small slide. 4. Breakfast in the morning and barbecue in the evening - no complaints. Delicious, satisfying, there is a choice. 5. Cleaning and replenishment of consumables in the room took place regularly and efficiently. Growth zones: 1. The staff is not trained to speak Russian or English, with rare exceptions - apparently tourists from Russia are in the minority here (rare and calm compatriots are of course a plus, this is not Turkey). Hotel guides even speak with difficulty - our compatriots or citizens of the CIS would be better suited for these positions. 2. There are not enough sun beds and umbrellas belonging to the hotel - in the morning there are not enough of them, after lunch you can find them. 3. The waves at sea in June are sometimes strong, dangerous and noisy 4. The climate is very stuffy even for the islanders of the Far East. Unaccustomed, it seems that I got into the sauna, moving along the street. In the room, in the elevator and in the residential buildings, the air conditioner coped, but in the lobby, lobby and dining room it was uncomfortable. 5. Prices at the hotel and in the surrounding area are relatively high by default (like at home). 6. Taxi drivers are slow-witted - even the destination labels in Chinese do not always help (the driver shows the direction with his hand and does not understand that I want to go on it). You should not rent a car from the hotel - the price will be asked one and a half times higher than the fee. It is better to go to the next street and stop the engine by raising your hand.
