A charming place. I regularly go to the Botanical Garden with my grandchildren, one of the most favorite places in Almaty. Thanks to the organizers and staff of the garden, everything is wonderful, culturally, clean, polite, everything is done with love and care. The population of squirrels, pets of children and adults, is increasing year by year, and it is clear that they are very comfortable there.

It's a very spacious and beautiful place!
Inside, the garden is divided into themed areas such as North America, Asia, Europe, and others. Squirrels live in the evergreen coniferous part. In Asia, carp swim in a pond. It breathes very easily!
In the southern part there is a wonderful view of the mountains and a ski jump.

The Botanical Garden is beyond praise. There are a lot of innovations that you may not have met yet. Well-groomed paths along which it is pleasant to walk between tall pines and ancient oaks. Beautiful cypresses and trimmed shrubs are pleasing to the eye. I never thought that there were so many varieties of lilac in the world. My eyes are falling out from such beauty. At the entrance to the pond, tender nymphaeum sprouts. Everyone can find their own cozy corner where you can just relax, because it is impossible to cover everything, the park is so huge in size.

I often visit Almaty, I visited the botanical garden for the first time, I really liked everything: the lake with swans, ponds with fish, a house for insects that clean the garden (so cute)
Sunbeds with mountain views, generally super, sit, meditate, that's it. There are many flowers of plants, the alleys are beautiful, everything is picturesque. I didn't have much time, so I think I saw a small part of the garden. Of course, there are neglected places, but I think this will not spoil the impression

this is a safe and cultural place almost in the very center of the city, where you can calmly and culturally walk with the whole family with children everywhere there are clean places to relax, there are clean toilets, drinking water flows from taps, I have been drinking this water since childhood, it is redirected from the Almarisan gorge, it is cool and cozy everywhere it is a forest with various shrubs and varieties of many crops in vegetation.

I was incredibly impressed!!! In my mind, the botanical garden has always been associated with some kind of small greenhouse with a couple of exotic palm trees and a bunch of flowers. But the visit exceeded all expectations!!! People, people, brothers!!! It's a whole forest!!! It's a forest of different, different trees and plants, it's an incredible beauty!!! It's like being in a gallop, in a fabulous forest!!! We are lucky that we got to the time of flowering of magnolia and lilac, oh this fragrance is charming and intoxicating!!! The feeling of delight and admiration at the sight of giant pines, Little Red Riding Hood walked through such a forest to her grandmother, in such a forest the Troubadour sang "the night will pass, the morning will come clear" to his princess from the Bremen Town musicians, in the same forest Shrek met Fiona! This is a great place!!! This is taking into account the fact that the greenhouse under reconstruction will take two hours to get around it in a small way, and if you "sit" and relax, then plus a couple of hours. According to my estimates, the area of the garden is like that of a microdistrict or maybe two. We came in from Temiryazev, where there is a parking lot two hundred meters away, the cost of which is 400 tenge, at the entrance you can go to the toilet so as not to look for bushes later)), there is also a cafe with tables on the street where you can have a snack, entrance is paid but not expensive and accessible to everyone, for adults 874 tenge, and for children 570 tenge. There is a stand with prices and a QR code of Caspi for those who want to pay through the application. Beautiful ponds with fish and swans fascinate and evoke a feeling of peace and tranquility, real relaxation. I visited with my wife, children and granddaughter and we all liked it. I recommend it!!!!

The botanical garden itself is a wonderful place where you can have a great rest with the whole family. However, the staff leaves much to be desired. I visited the Botanical Garden for the second time, the first time was about five years ago, and I forgot the payment procedure. They are standing at the entrance asking for payment, it's hot outside, sorry. Nobody explains anything about how to pay. By law, children are considered to be under 18 years old (or the law has changed), my daughter is 16, I forgot my student ID at home, payment is for an adult.

We love this place for walking with the whole family. It is very beautiful in all seasons except winter and early spring. We like to contemplate swans and squirrels jumping almost under our feet. A very beautiful territory, large, you can find a secluded place for privacy, you can also walk along the paths where there are quite a lot of people, more often on weekends. We try to choose weekdays for walking. Photo shoots are always very successful.

A wonderful park.
I didn't understand it at first, but after going through all the zones, it turned out to be very large and interesting.
I think the Japanese garden is modest, I wanted more decorations, but it's still a botanical garden.
There are ponds with red carp, there are ponds with swans.
Squirrels are almost tame.
I didn't see any devices selling food.
Maybe I looked it over, or maybe they need to be installed.
Gorgeous pine forest, blackthorn and much more.
Go for a walk, explore every corner.

A kind of oasis in the city. Unfortunately, in recent years it has become more of a recreation park. I don't know how much scientific work is being done there now, but the place is wonderful for walking. It is a pity that the greenhouse was destroyed. I remember as a child we were taken there on excursions, and the smell of those tropical plants is still in my head. I do not believe that the need for study has disappeared, it just seems that everything has moved into the category of getting benefits.

I really liked walking here: beautiful central paths with ponds and flower beds, green arches, cozy maple, lime, pine alleys with garlands, and immediately winding paths where there is not a soul. Only the ubiquitous squirrels :) The Japanese kindergarten is so cute. Evening lighting transforms everything around, and you want to go around the garden again. It's a pity, the tropical pavilion does not accept people yet, it is closed for reconstruction.

A great place for a family visit. The garden is very large and it takes a lot of time to visit everywhere. However, it is up to the visitors themselves to preserve this place in its original form. There have been cases of feeding swans and squirrels with the wrong thing. If it says not to feed, then don't feed. The garden is also a great place to "walk" your camera phone or camera.

This is my favorite place in the city!!! There are only happy and joyful faces, couples in love, and children here... Everything is very well thought out, from the magnificent variety of plants and seasonal installations to drinking fountains, comfortable benches and picnic lawns!!! A great place to relax and recharge your batteries! I recommend it to tourists and residents of the city!
