In the warm season, it's just gorgeous, fresh air, you can take a walk, kids can ride scooters, but only there are restrictions (big scooters or electric scooters, I think it's impossible (well, it didn't hurt us in general, because the child is small) in the cold, I think there's nothing much to do there :)

Just the place where you can walk without annoying photographers, children's attractions and touts. Completely a place for walking. There are frogs in the ponds of the southern part and the northern entrance. In the north, they only get out in the evening, and in the south in the thickets. There is a swan pond, however many people are there on weekends. It's a pity that the greenhouse is being built, and it won't be built. I advise you to walk along the usual paths. There are also a lot of interesting things there. There are toilets, but they are not common. Recently we made a Plus cottage, there is also something interesting there, only for Yandex. Plus.
There is also a hazel. It is necessary to go there with the children, there are a lot of proteins for at least 3-4.
I love this park. I've even seen pheasants a couple of times. They really walk freely in the park. However, if you saw them, you were lucky. I only saw them in the summer, they had a mating season

It's a wonderful place. It takes 3 hours to see everything. But you can spend the whole day there. There is a picnic area with benches and tables. Don't miss the swan pond. One of the most pleasant places to walk in Almaty. The territory is quite large, divided into zones, each alley has its own name and history. Everything is clean, while the park is developing: new plants are being planted, signs, lighting, information stands are being added (so far there are few of them). At the entrance (North) there is a small cafe and a toilet. There are wonderful small ponds and a fountain on the main alley.
I advise you to take a walk in the garden (it is also interesting with children), especially along the eco-trail (cork cover) - along the way you can see a lot of squirrels, different birds. In summer, there is a coniferous smell and the aroma of flowers.
Not far from the entrance, if you walk along the main alley (behind the rose garden), a couple of swans live on the pond, and there are a lot of fish (koi) in the water.

I did not like that there are a lot of people near reservoirs, parents do not follow the children who throw stones, branches, grass at the fish. There is a cafe at the north entrance. Tickets are easy to buy using a QR code, or you can buy them at the ticket office.
