The weather in Almaty is "Indian Summer", it pleases all days! Today I visited our botanical garden, I was pleasantly surprised by the large number of visitors of different ages.There were several other groups (Chinese, Hindus).
I walked along the paths to the Japanese garden, to the lake with swans and fish, took a lot of photos. Alleys, benches, flower beds, shrubs, flowers, trees with signs - all this together, all this multicolour pleases and gives hope in the future. I thank all the employees who are involved in this vibrant blooming garden in the center of our beautiful Almaty! Outside of politics, outside of the weather- the garden is there, blooms, turns green and helps (I think so) visitors to relax, gain new strength, energy, cheerfulness.
I recommend residents and guests to visit the unique world of plants and hold an autumn photo shoot this year.
By the way: For pensioners, the entrance for the whole month of October is free, free.

We love the botanical garden with our family! My opinion is that the botanical garden is one of the few real improvements of the city! Really a place where you can enjoy the beauty of well-groomed nature in the city limits!
However, on the last family trip, on October 1st, 23rd, there was an unpleasant circumstance. My daughter is a year and a half old, she likes to mess around in the ground, and once again lifting her from the sidewalk rubble, we saw a fat, black tick on her clothes! Until that moment, I didn't even know that ticks could be autumn. It turns out that this happens, and if you believe the Internet, then at this time of year ticks can be dangerous! So, I hope those who read this review to the end will be more vigilant when walking through botany.
Still, pure subjective, but it would be nice to add well-equipped playgrounds to the botanical garden and other similar family places.

Gorgeous park: culturally, clean, great air. There are many benches where you can relax in the shade of the trees. The park is divided into zones with different vegetation dedicated to different natural areas. I highly recommend it.

Probably one of the most beautiful parks in Almaty. It's a pity that it closes early. And the worst part is that 15 minutes before closing time, they turn off the lights in the entire park. And if you're with young children, it's very uncomfortable and not pleasant... It would have been better if they had warned us in a different way that it was time to leave the park. As it is, it's very nice and clean.

Quiet, fresh and green. There are places to sit and lie down (places with sun beds). There are many plants from different parts of the world. I especially liked the corner with conifers! I recommend coming here for a walk for the whole day.

There are just a lot of bushes and overgrown territory, I have not found a flower garden, half of the plots are fenced and are not allowed there, and there it seems like the most interesting thing was behind bars. I liked only the ponds with water lilies and the Japanese garden.

Rude staff. Toilets inside the garden are not working, only at the exit. There are no coffee places on weekends and there is a queue at the ticket office before the exhibition. In general, it has become worse than it was before the reconstruction of the garden. Previously, tickets were cheap, and the beautiful nature reserve was like the squirrels of a bird. Wherever you want, deloy picnics, photo shoots. You can collect as many seeds as you want, make some cones for crafts.

The garden is very beautiful. The huge territory, the variety of plants and trees is just a sight to see. Immediately from the entrance to the garden, you can feel the clean air and this air, rising higher and higher, is saturated with the smell of coniferous trees. You can walk from the heart or find a secluded place to find peace of mind. Each corner is good in its own way for familiarization, and for recreation, and for photo and video shooting (for professional shooting for a fee). It is better for parents with children under 5 to take a stroller or scooter so that they do not get tired. The kids like the pond with swans and fish, as well as the small ponds with ducklings on the Al-Farabi side. Among the amenities, these are toilets both inside the entrance point and in the middle of the garden; an expensive mini-cafe. I would like to have more benches or benches where there is a concert venue. The concerts here in the open air and live are simply amazing, special thanks for that. Tickets to the garden can be purchased at the ticket office and through Caspi, a QR code is scanned on the ticket and that's it. Dear friends, if you decide to bring food with you, please remove the garbage after yourself, you need to take care of such beauty in the heart of the city. And show respect to the staff, they try to help everyone. Also, do not forget that this is not a park, but a unique scientific and botanical garden, where every plant, every corner has its own value, history and human labor.

Since the garden is also scientific, some areas are closed to the public, but there is enough space for walking. Excursions, public and private events are held here, and photo/video sessions are available. There is a cafe at both entrances, my choice was herbal tea "Tranquility")) Unfortunately, drinks are served only in disposable cups. Plan more time for a visit or several visits so that you can see everything.

It is very beautiful, especially the Japanese garden and the old part of the garden with huge trees. We liked the path with the light bulbs very much and walked there in the afternoon and evening. In the old part of the garden we met grouse or some such birds. There are a lot of squirrels, turtledoves and even some kind of golden eagle or hawk were seen :)
Very calm and breathing is wonderful. They don't ride scooters, you can let the child go for a walk without worrying :)
