I liked the "Scottish guys" at the entrance of the Mir Castle the most. They have samples of weapons from the Middle Ages and beyond, which you can pick up and even shoot from it. Which you can't do in the museum itself. They conduct demonstration sword fights and a theatrical performance of the execution. And it's fascinating, because you feel a little bit like a resident of that era. We were with a group of 4 people on Sunday and couldn't find a guide. We asked to join a larger group, but, alas, all the groups are recruited. As the museum administrator said, booking a guided tour in a month. Therefore, a spontaneous desire to spend a full weekend at the museum should be planned))). We made do with an audio guide, which, in my opinion, is not very convenient. The museum has been renovated, but there is a lot of modern stuff: the elevator in the castle building surprised me. I put 4 out of 5, because there is something to compare it with. There were more expectations.

A magnificent architectural monument, beautifully restored and accessible to the public, once inside, it feels like you're in a Game of Thrones.

It's a very beautiful castle. There is a place for boys to have fun. Defensive structures, towers, cannons, stairs, an underground prison. Train your legs to climb everything. It is a pity that the infrastructure around is not developed.

A beautiful castle! It is possible to purchase an excursion or explore the territory and the inner walls of the castle on your own. It will be very difficult for children (who are not used to it), people with sore knees / legs and people of age, since there are very high steps and very narrow. Walking is really difficult, although not so much. Be careful. Otherwise, there is a hotel at the castle on its territory, there is a shop nearby, a cafe, as well as a lake. In general, peace and quiet. I recommend it!

Very beautiful. And it's interesting. The expositions are small, but it's more interesting to even just stay on the castle grounds

You definitely need to visit this place, go through all all the stairs at all the available towers. Pay attention to the ceilings during the tour, they are works of art. Buy souvenirs as a keepsake

There are a lot of impressions, I really liked the winter atmosphere, there are a lot of impressions left, and I also want to note that when you get to this place, you feel like a child trapped in the past. If you are planning a trip, I highly recommend it.

I liked everything. Well-groomed territory, guides, atmosphere. It was the third time since the last visit, with an interval of 8 years. The chapel had not yet been restored. The territory has increased and become prettier. There are many mini-cafes and souvenir shops.

Interesting, informative, beautiful locations for photos. It's very beautiful in the dark. The only drawback is the limited places where you can eat. The demand is high, but there are few places, especially in the evening (small cafes close near the castle)

It's a wonderful place, and the castle is interesting, with its medieval atmosphere and architecture. I really liked the park with a path around the pond, very cozy and picturesque views.

It's a very beautiful castle. There are many stairs with high steps and narrow passageways inside. My legs hurt from walking on them afterwards.

I liked the complex very much, the expositions are interesting. As a minus, I would say that there is a lot of climbing up and down stairs, and through very narrow passages. By the end of the tour, the legs had fallen off. But it's worth it.

It was quite an interesting tour, we went through the castles, in the first castle there was a very good guide, young, but with very good diction, in the second castle it was not very audible.

I expected that there would be more space for a walk inside the castle. And so, it turns out, half of it is open for internal visits. You can walk slowly for an hour. But otherwise I liked everything. There are enough exhibits, beautifully decorated and the territory is well maintained. It's great for the first time. I would hardly have gone a second time

It's worth stopping by. Even I would say it's worth it, and I would recommend spending the night in rooms there, because it's beautiful, atmospheric, you can go for a walk in the evening, there are several cafes nearby, and if you walk to the synagogue, there is a cafe nearby

I visited this beautiful palace and park ensemble in the Minsk region of Belarus with the Viapol travel agency (in cooperation with the Moscow travel agency Rus). Stunning views of the surroundings, careful attitude to the heritage of antiquity, interesting educational excursions leave indelible impressions!

A great place to set aside a day to visit. It's definitely worth a look at the castle itself and the surrounding area. Of course, there is more tourism than history, but for those who are interested in history, there is also something to look at.

Another wonderful castle. Everything is interesting and beautiful. Additional entourage was provided by steps of different lengths and widths)) vertically arranged narrow ones.. It took a lot of effort to climb up or down them into the next hall. It was not easy for people with disabilities and old age

A great place to visit! The castle was not so badly damaged during the Second World War. There are a lot of really ancient artifacts: dishes, carpets, furniture and more. There is an exit to the walls, a cafe at medium-affordable prices.

It is worth a visit, although everything has been restored up to the original exhibits, but at the proper level. Two observation towers are difficult to climb, it's not worth going to anyone with leg problems, but everything was interesting. We didn't have lunch at the local restaurant.

A must-visit place in Belarus. A real, well-restored castle with a complicated history in a beautiful place. Inside the castle there is not only a museum with impressive exhibits, but also a hotel (very decent), a restaurant, a cafe. And outside there is a beautiful area, a lake and a shady park. The village of Mir is adjacent to the castle.

In general, the assessment is very positive and that's why: 1. The beautiful territory of the park complex. Everything is clean, well maintained and preserved in a historical sense. 2. Belarusian castles are the most accessible for visiting by both Russians and other CIS neighbors. 3. A big plus of the approach to restoration and use in Belarus is that in the castle you can not only look at the architecture and go to the museum. But also that the castle is "alive". There is a hotel and several cafes. On the downside: if you have already been to similar places in Europe, the exposition may seem a bit poor. But it is enough to recreate for yourself the life of the time when life was raging in the castle. And if you take a guided tour, then the guide will fill your journey into the history of the castle to the fullest. So, considering all the pros and cons, I boldly recommend even sophisticated travelers to visit here or Nesvizh at least once.

The castle is fantastic!!! It seems that knights will come out of it now, a cozy hotel right in the castle, polite staff, museum guides as if they have lived there all the years, they know all the subtleties of life and life of the owners of the castle.

It's a great place, the museum has all the most interesting things at the very top. The park around the castle is simply magical. We stayed overnight in a hotel located in the castle itself, sleeping in the castle is a special pleasure, you feel like a princess)) The breakfast menu in the restaurant in the basement of the castle is very meager, but pancakes with cottage cheese, fried in breadcrumbs, with some interesting name, just a delight!!!

It is a very beautiful and interesting place. Visited in early April 2024 on their own. I liked the basements and the exits to the towers. A lot of antique armor and weapons. Steep and narrow stairs are interesting. The history of the castle during the First World War and the Second World War is interesting. Several Soviet and Russian films were shot in the castle - "Sniper. Weapons of retribution.", "Three fun shifts" I recommend to visit. It is 94 km away from Minsk by car.

Recently I was in Belarus and visited Mir Castle. I liked the whole castle complex - both inside and outside. Recent exhibitions and exhibits. There is a large park around the castle. Everything is very clean. There is a large parking lot nearby. We were surprised to learn that there is a hotel in the castle, and took note of it)) The castle also has a restaurant decorated in the spirit of the Middle Ages, with delicious cuisine (as indeed everywhere in Belarus).

I've never been to castles before. I liked it when we walked through the spacious halls.. A special kind of entertainment for an amateur is climbing and descending very narrow stairs when you can't disperse with people you meet....and there are a lot of them... The fact that no one regulates oncoming traffic is a disadvantage. Grannies and obese people won't like it.

The castle is very beautiful. The halls are interestingly organized. You immerse yourself in the history of the castle. It is very difficult to climb the towers themselves. But! What I didn't like was that the toilet was paid for. I bought the entrance tickets! And it is not located in the castle itself, but in a separate building at the entrance. It is necessary to overcome the entire courtyard, the arch, and another 50 meters. We were there at the end of May 2025. And the castle itself is beautiful!

A brilliant object. It is not for nothing that it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And that says it all. Of course, you need to look at how the elite of the Kingdom of Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania lived. (Radziwills). It is better to do this, of course, with a guide. It is worth noting the brilliant work of the restorers.

A very beautiful castle, an interesting tour, a large selection of souvenirs in the on-site shop. But most importantly, be sure to visit the Church, which is 200 meters from the castle in the village. Father Alexander, a wonderful, kind man, serves there. He invited us to the service, asked where we were from, and was very friendly, as were his parishioners. I have a very warm impression of this holy place.
