A great place, especially if you stay at the castle for the night. The rooms are very nice, the food is delicious (but not cheap compared to the cafes in Minsk). The stunning architecture of the old castle will easily transport you back to the Middle Ages.

This is the first castle we have visited in Belarus. We've never been to a castle like this before. The castle is very beautiful. You can feel the spirit of the Vikings and the Middle Ages. Nothing superfluous. But the decoration is also rich. The interiors and ceilings are masterpieces. But I advise you to go here in comfortable shoes. Firstly, the stone pavement. And the stones are convex. Secondly, there are many steps, and they are not quite level and in some places very high. Up-down, up-down. But it's worth it. The view from above is extremely beautiful. Medieval music was playing on the street, which also added color. In general, we were satisfied. After him, we went to another castle of the Rodziwill family, in Nesvizh. He's completely different, of course. More formal. But this one is also very beautiful.

We visited Mir Castle the other day. It's a beautiful place! It impresses with its scale and architecture. We didn't take a full ticket to the towers. It's such a pleasure. Keep in mind that when you climb very narrow stairs, a crowd of people will come out to meet you, you will have to let each other through, otherwise you will be stuck there for a long time. This is more related to organizational matters, the staff must then regulate tourists at the entrances. It's interesting to go for a walk, we even got to a small demonstration and saw the shooting of antique weapons, tried archery and bought a lot of goodies.

An atmospheric place. We got there on our own. There is a place to park the car for free. On excursions, it is best to bring cloth gloves with you. There are cafes and restaurants within a half-kilometer radius (within walking distance), BUT it's best to book a table in advance, as tour buses are arriving and this crowd needs to be fed. We didn't manage to eat at the restaurant, it's good that we took food with us - we ate in the car.
