It's a beautiful place. There are still fragments "from the past" in this place, which creates a special atmosphere. Definitely, you need to take an excursion to immerse yourself in history. The territory is not very large. But beautiful, well-groomed. There is a place to walk.

The castle is located near Minsk, in the town of Mir. One of the best preserved castles. We were here in 2024, we really liked everything, both the castle itself and the tour, and work is currently underway to improve the territory and plant trees. On weekends, artists come in the guise of Scottish mercenaries and arrange performances. You can change clothes and shoot with a musket or cannon.

We were at the castle on 06/03/2024 unfortunately we could not stay at the hotel, as the Eurasian Forum was taking place these days. I really liked the castle))) We took an individual guided tour, which told in detail about the history of the castle, its owners and how the castle changed over time. The spirit of the Middle Ages is felt here and I want to come back again.

It wasn't the first time, but it's still interesting. I especially liked the performance of the Scots. Very cool, fun, informative. Yes, visitors need to prepare to walk up narrow stairs a lot. We found under 5,000 steps. The restaurant spoiled the impression a little. The administrators communicate through their teeth, the prices are quite high, the food is so-so. The cafe across the street is much better. But the castle is worth a look. Preferably with a guide. I've heard out of the corner of my ear how many interesting facts they tell.

It's not a very big castle, but it's atmospheric. Here you can stroll through the gallery with a view of the city. Affordable ticket prices, there are discounted days and discounted tickets, the caretakers are polite and excellent guides.

We didn't regret coming here at all! A truly fabulous place! A stunning castle. Ducks swim in the pond, swallows fly over the castle...a little more and you will find yourself the hero of Andersen's fairy tales (such associations). Very well maintained area. There is a hotel in the castle. Book in advance if you want to stay in this particular place.

An amazing place, great rooms, once you check in, you will feel like a part of that era)) There is something to see and where to walk, the rooms are clean and very comfortable, everything is thought out, even automatic curtains that open and close with a button, the staff is responsive and prompt, we liked everything, we will come back again! We recommend it!

A very interesting castle, beautiful. We went around the outside and visited the inside. It's worth a look. What I didn't like was the stage and the cafe in the courtyard. I think that it can be arranged from the outside, without violating the visual integrity of the castle picture by modern money-making.

One of the well-restored castles in Belarus (Belarus). There is a museum, a cafe, a toilet, a souvenir shop. You can climb the castle wall, which offers a beautiful view of the lake. It's nice to see every time you come that the area around the castle is being improved and landscaping is underway. A good place to walk and explore the history of these places. It can be windy in winter.

A cool restored castle, the exposition is not very large. I remember: excellent physical loading when climbing / descending the stairs of the towers (narrow and steep).

I really liked it, our visit to this castle left the most vivid impression, it is very beautiful everywhere both inside and outside the castle, despite the very large number of people on these May holidays, we were able to enjoy this wonderful place.

It's a very beautiful castle. Inside, everything is stylized in an antique style. The tour is interesting. There is nature around, the lake-everything is very beautiful. The castle has a restaurant and a cafeteria.

It's cool, it's very beautiful outside, but there are a lot of people on weekends and because of this, the atmosphere inside is lost. It's worth going just for the photos on the background, as part of a tour of 2 castles.

This is a wonderful and very atmospheric place. Time has stopped here!!!! Already at the entrance you can feel the spirit of history. Very neat, clean. Everything is perfectly preserved in the castle, the guides are very competent!!!! I recommend eating at the restaurant "Princely meal": delicious, beautiful, excellent value for money. A check for three (one child) 150 bel. rubles. And it's worth it!

The place is certainly interesting, atmospheric, and very beautiful. But be prepared to crawl up endless stairs- very narrow and very steep. The star was shot for spoiling the end of the walk by the fact that all the cafes and restaurants around are occupied by tourist groups. We need to organize the process somehow so that both groups and those who arrived on their own can have lunch.

It's a nice castle, and there are stories about ghosts and real people. You can crawl on the towers, if, of course, shoes without heels. I recommend making an appointment for the tour in advance.

Beautiful from the outside, the castle site has preserved its historical essence, everything is green around, the lake is beautiful. There's nothing to do inside, they stuck an elevator in, figure out the elevator in the castle!! It's just too much. everything is tiled, even the chandeliers are modern. I recommend you to visit if you have not seen any locks at all

It's a very interesting place. The exhibition shows the life of the castle from the 16th to the 20th century. You can admire the beautiful ballroom and climb the tower. There are stairs with extreme steps, it is better to have comfortable shoes.

Mir Castle is my love. Of all the castles in Belarus that I've been to, it's the most attractive to me. It is better to go to the toilet in the castle itself, because it is paid outside the gate.

A beautiful 15th century castle with a rich ancient history. The castle was owned by the Radziwills, then the Wittgensteins and the last Mirskys until 1939. It was well restored. Interesting exhibits. Good guides. I recommend you to visit, you will not regret it.

The most beautiful place in a combination of history and nature! It would be perfect for wedding photos...however, if you want to tour the castle, then be sure to take a guide, otherwise it will be an empty circle around the perimeter and you will not learn anything interesting for yourself...

It's a very beautiful castle. Restoration work is underway, but this does not prevent us from touching medieval history. Nice restaurant in the basement of the castle. The dried duck salad is simply incomparable. I recommend you to visit.

It was winter. There were performances playing in the courtyard. In armor, boots, helmets. Interesting, but cold. There are many interesting things inside, although of course the history of the castle affects the assortment presented - the former greatness has been lost. But the museum has done a lot to make it interesting. And the narrow stairs are just a delight. Especially when there aren't many people. This may be a problem in the summer months.

It's a great place, not the biggest castle there is, but the exposition has left a pleasant mark. There are no people on weekdays, we went by ourselves without an excursion, It's worth a visit, and if you take a car, you can also go to Nesvizh Castle, it's close there.

Well, I won't be original, a must-visit place in Belarus. The only advice is to book excursions to the castle in advance on the website if you are traveling on your own. We expected that the flow of tourists would be large and we would be joined to a group, but we had to take an audio guide, there are no excursions on site.

It's beautiful! A real medieval castle! You need to be ready not only to look at the halls of the castle, but also to climb and descend many spiral staircases, wander along the walls of the castle, climb into towers, descend into a medieval prison. Therefore, it is better to choose more time to visit in order to see everything calmly and with pleasure

We managed to see all the expositions. The castle itself was built in the 16th and 17th centuries. It survived several owners, was destroyed several times, but restored. If you connect your imagination, you can immerse yourself in history and imagine what each room looked like. It is definitely worth a visit!

A place steeped in history from the Middle Ages to the present day. You can always come either by yourself or with your family. Enjoy the heritage of the past centuries. Learn something new. If desired, stay overnight at the hotel at the castle. Have dinner at a restaurant in the evening. Every corner is steeped in history. There's no better place for Victor.
