This is already a cult complex. It is required to visit. The extensive history of Western Belarus is concentrated there, so it is necessary to take an excursion in order to understand the integrity of a part of the country's history. Then familiar names appear everywhere.

A beautiful castle where you can see the palace interiors, cellars, walk along the walls, climb the tower and go down to the basement of the prison. Sightseeing tours are held in the castle, the approximate duration is 1 hour.

Mir Castle is recommended, with a guided tour. We even took accommodation (but nothing special, modern renovation, no atmosphere) The scale and level of that time is impressive, how rich the Rodzivils were

The Mir castle complex on the banks of the Miranka River is a unique monument of the national culture of Belarus, which includes a castle of the XVI-XX centuries (Belarusian Gothic), ramparts of the XVII-XVIII centuries, a pond, a park and a chapel tomb of the princes Svyatopolk-Mirsky. One of the most visited museums in Belarus.

You just can't imagine how nice it is here! Come and stay, there is a restaurant on the ground floor, the castle lights turn on at night, there is an elevator and a souvenir shop, during the day, of course, a large influx of tourists takes a bite out of immersion in the atmosphere, but with the onset of dusk it's something. A place for beautiful photos, especially at night, romantics and just people who decided to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the late Middle Ages. I would have stayed here for a week, it's just that the vacation has dragged on so much...

It's just great! It is necessary to arrive by 10:00 for the opening, there will be a parking space, later it will be more difficult. The castle is gorgeous, the exhibits are amazing! There you can see everything from the wine cellar and the kitchen, the beautiful reception rooms, to the prison and the secret narrow stairs leading to the towers, as well as the tomb temple with tombstones. Recommend👌

If we are going on a trip by car past this castle, then we will definitely stop by, my son (10 years old) likes it very much. For the last two years, we have been able to see the Scottish battles on the castle grounds (free of charge)very impressive, effective and humorous)) on the downside: it's very hot in the souvenir shop, there is something to choose there as a gift, but it's impossible to be there. We took an audio guide around the castle - it's not bad, but I'm always in favor of a live tour, it's just that children can't always stand waiting with a guide, it's more convenient with an audio guide)) there are moments in the cafe: they took fried homemade dumplings and kvass - it was very tasty, but the menu was poorly presented and even from what was stated it was not available, so they took what was there) the staff seemed tired, so I wanted to eat quickly and run away) otherwise, it's good if you especially get to a day of mild tourist activity) there were a lot of people last time) I recommend

It's all good. But you need to understand that the castle is totally renovated. If you look at the photo of how it looked at the beginning of the twentieth century, you will see only the remains of walls without interstory ceilings, with empty window openings. Therefore, the entire modern look of the castle is a novelty. The contents of the lock are also, I suspect, 99.9% not original. The original was lost, for example, taken to Germany by the Nazis during the occupation of Belarus. In general, the castle impresses with its grandeur and decoration; there are viewing platforms and walking paths around. There is a lot of interesting historical information on the walls inside - this is for an amateur. If you have a goal to study it in detail, plan to inspect the castle for the whole day. Keep in mind: the ascents to the top inside the towers are narrow with steep steps, it is possible to climb them only one after the other, and this creates queues and crowding at the beginning of the ascent, especially when there are many tour groups.

It's very beautiful, the tour is interesting. For those who like difficulties, there is an opportunity to climb the medieval stairs to the tower. The bonus is a performance by reenactors and Scottish warriors.

It's a wonderful place! Beauty! The castle has been preserved and restored, it is impossible even to believe that it has been standing for so many centuries. The guide is very interesting, he talks vividly, the exposition of the last period is very well presented. The surrounding area is cleaned, it's a pleasure to relax your soul.

Immerse yourself in the world of knights when visiting this castle. Monumental walls, antique tapestries on the walls, beautiful furniture. The entrance to the towers is narrow, if you have problems with your legs, you will not be able to climb. There are facilities for people with disabilities. I recommend visiting on weekends: there are more people, but there is a theatrical performance.

The castle is really very impressive. A rich history. The photos are great))it was really difficult to get there, by train from Minsk to Gorodeya and then by taxi. And another disadvantage is that there are a lot of tourists)))One had to wait to get up or down the narrow spiral staircases.

The castle is cool with a museum, if you stay in it you will get a 30% discount on tickets, and an expensive restaurant in the basement. On-site parking for residents. There is nothing to do in the city, there is nothing to see restaurants until 18:00. I do not recommend a restaurant across the street from the castle, it takes a long time to wait for an order and food.

Beautiful, well-maintained territory, perfectly restored castle. Interesting exposition inside. It is better to visit as part of an excursion, when the guide tells you, or at least rent an audio guide. A restorant and a free toilet inside the castle. Be careful on the spiral stairs of the tower (they are very high and narrow).

A very beautiful authentic castle! The area is clean! People in suits that match the time. Interactive with them. You can hold any weapon and get a detailed description of the weapon itself and its use. Fire the squeaker. The museum itself is incredible inside. The castle is huge. It looks smaller from the outside. That's great! I recommend it!

**Mir Castle — a journey into a fairy tale where legends come to life!** 🏰✨ This place is not just an architectural monument, but a real portal to the past, where every stone breathes history. At first glance, the castle impresses with its grandeur: powerful walls, towers reaching into the sky, authentic masonry... It seems that a knight is about to ride out of the gate or the shadow of the prince's retinue will flash by! ** What charmed you the most:** 🔹 **Secrets of the dungeons** — a tour of the cellars with legends of ghosts and hidden treasures (especially creepy and exciting in the evening!). 🔹 **The magnificent park** is an ideal place for meditative walks. In autumn, it is *especially magical* here: the gold of the foliage is reflected in the water, as in an antique mirror. 🔹 **Interiors** — restored with love! The throne room, ballrooms and even a medieval kitchen with dishes are a complete immersion in the era. **Important:** In summer, there are often *jousting tournaments* and concerts of ancient music in the courtyard — it's a must see! And in winter, the castle, covered with snow, looks like a set for a fairy tale by Andersen. **Mir Castle is a place where time slows down.** You leave with the feeling that you have touched something eternal. I will definitely come back here again, perhaps on a full moon, to check out the legend of the White Lady...** 👻💞 *Tip: get an audio guide — stories about the owners (Radziwills!) Worthy of the series!*

The castle impresses with its architecture, history and the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. Mir Castle impresses with its grandeur and beauty. Its powerful walls, towers and courtyards take you back to the days of knights and medieval battles. The beautifully preserved interiors allow you to feel the spirit of past eras. Taking pictures near the castle is a pleasure! Every corner of the castle looks picturesque and is perfect for a keepsake photo. The atmosphere of the castle creates a sense of immersion in the past, which makes a visit here a special event.

An amazing place! The beauty is extraordinary!! And do not believe those who advise to combine inspection with Non-movement! It takes about three hours to cook this steak. Moreover, storming the castle towers is a real quest - the height of the steps is 40 cm! The stairs are spiral and two people cannot separate. Feel how the ancestors lived! We are weak compared to them! The exposition is interesting - furniture, dishes, replicas of outfits. Well, and the armor, where without them. Go ahead and you won't regret it!

I recommend visiting Mir Castle. It is a large museum of different eras. So from 1520 to 1828, the Radziwills owned the castle. From 1828 to 1891, the Wittgensteins were born. From 1891 to 1939, the family was Secular. The castle has many rooms telling about their former owners. The castle has a hotel, a restaurant and a cafe. The prices are very affordable.

A stunning medieval castle with a rich history and majestic architecture, one of the main symbols of Belarus. The territory of the castle is quite extensive, in order to explore everything, it will take more than one hour. There are a huge number of unique exhibits in the castle, several rooms are available for visiting, including towers, which will have to be climbed up narrow spiral stairs with fairly high steps, but the view from the height and the exhibits in the towers are worth it! I highly recommend visiting the castle with a guided tour.

If you want to live in a real castle, then your dream will come true here. There are pros and cons, but this is compensated by the fulfillment of a wish. Which is still worth noting. Of course, the prices at the local restaurant are biting, but if we talk about other catering establishments, then all of them are closed as one for special maintenance of tour buses. therefore, you need to relax, enjoy all the excursions, walks and eat quietly in the castle restaurant "Knyazhesky Dvor", where everything is very, very tasty. Perhaps the situation is different in summer, but in autumn everything is exactly as I describe. There are a lot of schoolchildren on school holidays, and tourists outside the holidays. There are a lot of people on weekends. The duration of stay is three to four days. If you are driving, there is a town of Nesvizh nearby, with the Radziwill family nest, but for me, Mir Castle is more interesting. Staying at the hotel, you get a castle without tourists in the morning and evening, a discount on visiting museums and great experiences. Meals are separate. For those traveling by car, there are several parking lots, including on the territory of the castle. The museum exposition is presented in the castle itself, as well as on the territory of the castle courtyard, including two towers, wall galleries, a casemate and a chapel-tomb of the princes Svyatopolk-Mirsky (outside the castle). Tickets are different, there is a common one, discounts are available for hotel guests (see info on the complex's website). You can book a guided tour and use the audio guide. At the exit from the M1 highway (8 km from the World) - Lukoil gas station, on both sides of the highway. The most important thing. The most important thing is the wonderful people around. In principle, we love all Belarusians. And here no one stood aside and everyone was friendly.

I'm just not ready for such a large number of guests, but this does not apply to the castle administration, there are no queues at the checkout, a polite character and clean toilets, this is an omission of local entrepreneurs, if you want to have a snack on the castle grounds and its surroundings, then you may not be able to

Mir castle with its rich history. Just like in the picture. We even got to see a theatrical performance. To reconstruct the life of that distant century, when there was still no gunpowder, but there were sabers and daggers. You can shoot with a bow and a cannon. Take a walk in the park around the pond. I was at the castle in early January. I parked almost in front of the entrance on the side of the road. That's what all the locals do, no one seems to have been evacuated or fined. A ticket to visit all the places cost 18 Belarusian rubles, and an audio guide cost 6 rubles. I recommend the audio guide, because it makes the story and some facts clearer. You can visit the castle itself, the prison, climb the wall, climb the towers, go to the castle church. There are actually few originals for weapons and armor, but the replicas are well made.

Do you want to find yourself in the Middle Ages? You definitely need to visit Mir Castle! Upon approaching the castle, you will be amazed by its majestic silhouette towering over the surrounding area. Huge towers, battlements and crumbling stones will take you to another era. Entering the gate, you will find yourself in a fabulous atmosphere. Thick walls, steep stairs and mysterious passages will create a unique flavor. Imagine how knights and noble ladies lived here, heard the clash of swords and the rustle of dresses. You will be particularly delighted with the tower, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding area. From here you can admire the picturesque landscapes and feel connected to the past. An equally interesting tour of the castle halls will be. You will learn about its rich history, the change of owners and how it witnessed many important events. Each exhibit will tell its own unique story, immersing you in the atmosphere of those times. For example, in the knights' hall you will see heavy armor, massive swords and coats of arms. Imagine how feasts, tournaments and ceremonies took place here. And in one of the halls you will find an unusual surprise - a crocodile on a chandelier! According to legend, his effigy was brought from distant countries by one of the owners of the castle. Do not forget to visit the Radziwills family burial, located in the Svyatopolotsk-Mirsky tomb. There you can see the tombstones that keep the memory of a noble family. A walk through the Mir Castle will take you to another era and leave an unforgettable impression. Here, history comes to life before your eyes, and you will feel like a part of the medieval world.
