A great, colorful place for a visit by a company or family. The atmosphere of the Middle Ages, as if you are immersed in the 16th and 17th centuries. Walking through the castle towers will leave a great impression, but you need to be prepared for narrow passages and uncomfortable ascents. There is a hotel, a dining room and a restaurant on site.

Very nice, well maintained, restored. You can feel the atmosphere of a real castle, a defensive fortress. The story fits him, and they tell about it in museums. However, it is worth considering that this is really a medieval castle - in half of the places you need to walk along the original stairs, which not everyone can climb: very, very steep steps, narrow space and steep descent. There are no questions for the young and healthy, but for older people it can be a challenge, or not at all passable, as for young children.

The Mir Castle complex was restored after 2000 and is included in the UNESCO Architectural Heritage List. It is necessary to visit with an excursion... it doesn't make sense to just walk like that. The tour is only on the 2nd floor, the third floor and the basement for self-inspection. You can go down to the security rooms on the street and climb the walls. Interesting and informative. Recommend.

This is an unreal beauty! A great place for educational and cultural recreation! You can walk around the castle grounds at night, admission is free. Well, in the daytime, take a guided tour or just go inside the castle with tickets, as well as climb the towers. My husband and I are very impressed by visiting this unusual place! It is necessary to take a tour of the castle, it is interesting and informative. The hotel is good, everything you need to eat. It's better not to even look into the restaurant in the basement (except to admire the interior), it's not even half the menu, and there are other places to eat nearby.

This is the pearl of Belarus in the small village of Mir. He impressed us very much at first sight))😍 A bit of history: mir castle began as a harsh fortress, in the XVI century its founder was Yuri Ilyinich, who laid powerful walls and four combat towers ready to withstand any siege. It was a classic Gothic citadel built for war. Everything changed when the castle came into the possession of the richest Radziwill family. They turned the gloomy fortress into a luxurious residence. By their order, a three-story palace with elegant Renaissance features grew along the eastern and northern walls, and a picturesque garden was laid out around it. So, in just a century, the castle has undergone an amazing transformation — from an impregnable Gothic bastion to an exquisite palace and park ensemble.

A place for guests of Minsk to visit. An atmospheric place. The castle is impressive, with huge halls and rooms decorated from the 18th and 19th centuries. We arrived on the morning of May 1, there were a lot of people. It was difficult to get into the towers, there was a traffic jam of people (it took about 20 minutes to get up). The prison basement was not impressive. You can take photos and videos. Take a walk around the park, the places are beautiful.

The experience of visiting the castle complex is great. If possible, we highly recommend that an external inspection be carried out in the evening, and preferably at night, when the illumination of the monumental structure itself and the adjacent park area is on. In the light of the moon, everything looks very mysterious and ancient. The mirror image of the illuminated castle in the castle pond looks amazing, just a postcard view!!!It is possible to freely enter the inner territory of the castle. There are no visitors at this time, and in such a deserted environment it seems that you have passed through time and entered the Middle Ages. The visit to the museum and the informative tour were, of course, during the daytime, and of course there were a lot of visitors. In narrow rooms, especially in the almost vertical flights of tower stone stairs, it is cramped, and sometimes it is impossible to disperse. But this just highlights the specifics of the life of the ancient inhabitants of castles. This is perhaps the best of the several castles (Nesvizh, Grodno, Lida, Novogrudok) that we visited on our road trip in May 2025.

We spent the night at the castle hotel for the first time in our lives, we were waiting for ghosts, but there were none, but we were not disappointed) The rooms are clean, it can be seen that they are new (the hotel has appeared recently). The castle itself is very beautiful, especially from the water. There is an area around the castle where you can walk with pleasure, but not very late, at 10 o'clock the lights are completely turned off on the territory. You can eat in the castle restaurant in the basement stylized as the Middle Ages, you didn't like only the music in it, but everything is fine. A delicious cozy place outside the territory, we were in the summer, sat on the summer veranda, left the best impressions!

We lived in a hotel in the castle itself. The room was on the fourth floor. Almost under the roof. Very nice view from the window to the pond and the courtyard of the castle. There is a restaurant, open from 9-00. The room had bathrobes, slippers, and shower gel. In the morning, you can be the first to climb the castle stairs to the other towers. There are no tourists yet. We really enjoyed it!

It is a must for everyone who is interested in history. It is most likely not suitable for sedentary and elderly people, since most of the movement inside the castle takes place along ancient narrow passages with high steps.

There was a problem with moving inside the tower. At some point, everyone got stuck, the narrow staircase does not allow a large number of people to move. There's trouble with the toilets, there are queues everywhere. The park area is large, but we didn't have time to see everything because of the limited time.
