The food was okay. The service was bad. They got our order all wrong and added all the additions to our plov that we didn't ask for and it really raked up our bill.

Guys, this is delicious! The pilaf is wonderful, delicious, fragrant, hot, with sweet tea right bombyau! The place is always crowded. Most of the visitors are locals, which clearly indicates that the choice is correct. A free welcome cup of tea awaits you when ordering. The pricing policy is average, quite adequate. You will visit Bukhara, you will not regret it.

Hello! Bukhara pilaf is very tasty and slightly dietary , as it is made from steamed rice and beef . In the restaurant "The plov" it is cooked just perfectly, you can lick your fingers how delicious it is, just a fairy tale and a song. It should be borne in mind that you need to have time to eat no later than 13.00! pilaf is cooked in the morning in a huge cauldron , and it ends by this time , since all the tables are occupied . Waiters fly around and serve at lightning speed , so in reality there will always be a vacant place . The prices are very affordable, so the price-quality ratio is "1 :2". Good luck! 🍀🍇🇺🇿

Definitely a good place to eat delicious pilaf! We took Bukhara pilaf-magnificent!!! The portions are large, we took 0.7-we ate. they also took lightly salted tomatoes without skin (they are called "naked tomatoes" in the menu)- delicious. Two spacious halls with different designs, but everywhere there is a very beautiful decoration, in oriental style, all accessories are perfectly matched, in the second hall there are photos of old Bukhara on the walls! This place was recommended to us by the owner of the guest house where we stayed -crazy gratitude to him for this!!

I definitely recommend a visit. Excellent interior, very attentive waiters. The most important thing is very, very, very tasty pilaf, huge portions and at the same time we were surprised by the affordable price. In Russian rubles, 850 rubles were spent for four people for a restaurant - this is just a ridiculous price

Delicious Bukhara pilaf, snacks, fast service, affordable prices. For a vegetarian, you can find food - a lot of vegetable salads. On each table there is a plate with a local sweet parvarda. They took okroshka, fresh vegetables, a portion of Bukhara pilaf, a flatbread with suzy and tea - everything turned out to be 70-80 thousand soums)
I advise you!

A great place, inexpensive and delicious. You can take different types of pilaf. Perhaps one of the best pilafs where we ate in Uzbekistan.
It's a pity that it only works until 15.00, but in general, almost all pilafs are in this schedule.

It's a great place.
We were in Bukhara and asked the guide where to eat a good pilaf. I recommended it and with good reason.
Interesting room design, fast service and reasonable prices. The portions are healthy, you can take 0.7 instead of a whole one.
Before that, in Samarkand, we ate pilaf after the master class, in an ordinary cafe, and this was our third pilaf. Of the company of 10 people, everyone was satisfied. The pilaf is rich, fragrant, salt and spices are just right. Not fat and not lean.
If you are in Bukhara, be sure to try pilaf here.
The rest of the kitchen is also normal, but the main focus is pilaf!

An amazing place where more than a hundred people cook and immediately feed pilaf! Pilaf in Bukhara is very tasty! Additions in the form of iced tea and salted tomatoes without skins, tortillas and greens are just a bomb! The atmosphere is like at a wedding or anniversaries))) sooooo delicious and soulful! Pilaf starts cooking at 5 a.m. and by 14.00 it is already being sold out, so book places for lunch in advance.

A very pleasant place. There are always a lot of people and it's clear why. The pilaf here is the most delicious of those that I have tasted in different cities in 6 days. Clean, the waiters are great, UP card payment is available. The portions are large, even 0.7 is enough to be full. Low cost. I recommend going (but don't expect a super effect), just to have a delicious pilaf lunch. The owner is always on the spot. Thank you for the good organization. The rest of the numerous establishments where pilaf is cooked need to take an example of how to make it tasty, beautiful, inexpensive and correct.

More than one local recommended us to eat pilaf in this place. The catch is to get hungry by 11-12 o'clock (you can skip breakfast, as an option). The establishment is open for only 4 hours, from 11 to 15. It is at this time that Uzbeks eat it themselves. If you have 2 or more people, I recommend taking both types of pilaf, Samarkand and Bukhara. I liked the fat Samarkand one more, and my husband liked the leaner Bukhara one with raisins and even chickpeas. It should be washed down exclusively with hot tea: a rare stomach will miss without problems such an abundance of fatty foods, a drink with cold water or lemonade. Our lunch (2 pilaf, 2 teas, a small flatbread and a vegetable salad) cost 110,000 soums, a little less than 1 thousand rubles. The receipt always includes a service in the amount of 15%, please note. You don't have to wait for waiters and a receipt to pay, just remember the table number and name it at the checkout at the exit. They will check the order there and you can pay with a card (not Russian) or in local currency in cash. I recommend the place, especially to fans of pilaf and national cuisine. If you arrived a little before the opening, I recommend going to the Old Street Coffee House coffee shop 150 m to the right of the entrance (if you look at it from the road). There is wonderful coffee and delicious desserts, the service is beyond praise. But this is a different review...

A short menu. Two types of pilaf. Bukhara, light. Samarkand, fried in appearance is very heavy (dark in appearance).
Portions of 600 and 400 grams. They took 600 for two people. You can take it with you.
The pilaf is delicious. The meat is soft and juicy. There are various additives, quail egg, horse meat, and others.
A couple of salads on the menu are Vitamin and Vegetable. Water, drinks.
The impression of a Makdak for pilaf.
Orders arrive very quickly. Everything is for the flow.
If you want a calorita, this is not the place. We ate and ran on.
The pilaf itself is on sale from 11 o'clock. Occasionally, one of the pilafs is not available. Please specify when there will be a new batch. We were initially told about Samarkand that it would not be. But while we were eating, he appeared. 😉

Today we visited The Plov cafe and ate the Legendary Bukhara pilaf, to be honest, We have not eaten such delicious pilaf in any country in Central Asia. This is not just some kind of pilaf, but a pilaf that makes a person plunge into the history and traditions of the Uzbek people. Those who visit Bukhara are simply obliged to eat Bukhara pilaf. It's just a gastronomic delight. The most important thing here, of course, is the service. After all, the service here is on a completely different level. Separately, I would like to wish good health, success in my personal life, and most importantly, career growth to the waiter (Bekzod). This young man is not only a professional in his field, but also just a great person. Special thanks to the Kitchen staff, administrators, cashier, owner(s) of this wonderful establishment. We have already been in Bukhara for 4 days from Kyrgyzstan, visited 7 villages, and visited almost all the sights of the city. The city of Bukhara is a city with a thousand-year history. Prominent scholars of Islam lived here as :
1) Abdukholik Gzhduvani
2) Khoja Muhammad Arif
3) Khoja Mahmoud Anjir Fagnaviy
4) Khoja Ali Ramitani
5) Khoja Muhammad Bobo Samosiy

Great!
The food is very tasty.
One of the most popular places in Bukhara.
I recommend taking a portion of 0.7 pilaf, a full one, I'm a man weighing about 100 kg, I barely mastered it.
The price tag is very humane by Moscow standards.
A portion of pilaf, tomato salad, half a liter of ayran and a flatbread cost 56,000 som, which is around 450 rubles.

The pilaf is excellent. I recommend. Especially for us, tourists, for whom pilaf is rice porridge with meat. But we ordered cappuccino, which is not available in many places there. It was brought to us late (we waited 10 minutes, having already eaten the pilaf) and in paper cups ... from a nearby cafe. 🤯As we later found out by chance, this glass is cheaper there. Wouldn't it be more honest to say that for some reason there is no coffee. The sediment remained.

A great place if you want to eat delicious pilaf. We were offered 2 versions of pilaf, Samarkand and Bukhara. Both were very tasty and large portions. I liked everything very much. We have heard a lot about this place, we decided to walk from the tourist center of the city, if not for the navigator, we would not have found it ourselves. Amazing pilaf!
We arrived at about 12 o'clock on Friday, there were almost no people. An hour later, all the seats were packed.
We ordered 0.7 portions of Bukhara pilaf + salad + mojito (non-alcoholic, of course).
The prices are in other reviews on the photo.
We ate too much, we didn't finish it. I think two girls can safely take a full portion for two. The mojito is very pleasant, lots of mint and lime, ice in moderation.
I sincerely recommend you to visit!

The pilaf center of Bukhara, like in Tashkent and Samarkand. There are a lot of people, both tourists and locals, tables need to be booked if you want to try Bukhara pilaf, or your guide arranges a reservation with the restaurant. There are no complaints about the quality of products and dishes. There is a dangerous threshold at the entrance to the toilet, and the number of toilets is very small for such a large number of visitors. you need to get from the center by taxi

The place recommended by locals as the best tasting of real Bukhara pilaf is more of a dining room than a restaurant. The menu includes pilaf, tomato salad, ayran, and no alcohol. For beginners in Uzbek cuisine, it is optimal to start with a portion of 0.7 pilaf

Despite the many positive reviews, we absolutely did not like this place. The service is disgusting, everyone has to be yanked first to remove the dirty dishes and wipe the table, then to make an order.By the way, we have not made an order, although our guide had pre-booked 14 portions for our tour group from the manager of Bekzod. As a result, we arrived at 14:25, no place, no pilaf, no participation from the staff. The restaurant is open until 15:00.Even if there is delicious pilaf, in such conditions and with such a level of service, we do not need it for nothing.Believe me, there are many very decent establishments in Bukhara, you do not need to dwell on one, even with a bunch of positive reviews, sometimes it can be a mirage.

The pilaf is delicious. You need to be prepared for the fact that pilaf is prepared sweet in Bukhara. Tea is also sweet (immediately with sugar and lemon). The service is fast.
