I was on a tour of the Alazani Valley in December. The cities of Bodbe, Sighnaghi, and Telavi enchanted me with their beauty and differences from each other. The highlight of the trip through the Valley was the winery, where organic wine is made and aged in kvevri. And after the winery, dinner at a nearby restaurant. The dinner was great, especially chkmeruli (it's chicken in creamy garlic sauce), an incomparably delicious dish, the most delicious I've tasted in Georgia. The price was surprisingly and joyfully not high, especially seeing what an impressive portion was served on the table. It was so soulful and delicious in the restaurant that our guide only persuaded us to get out of the tables. I must say that we returned from the tour two hours later than the stated time. But it didn't upset anyone. On the way home, the driver made a stop on the highway, where our guide fed the dog that lives right by the road. I feel so sorry for her
