We visited because we needed to pass the time before the plane. The score is below average. It is unkempt, the aviaries are small, there are no elephants and giraffes. In general, there are few animals. Izhevsk and Kaliningrad zoos look much more interesting.

I don't know why they write reviews about animal cruelty... They're all fat, clean, shiny, and funny. Everyone has plenty of food. I liked the elephant the most. The territory is large and interesting. We walked around from the bottom of our hearts and had a lot of fun.

I did not expect such an amazing zoo in Yerevan. of course, there are disadvantages here, the monkeys with red asses and small cages already mentioned in many comments, but otherwise, the presence of such a number of animals and how they are kept impressed. Insanely beautiful and well-groomed deer with beautiful horns, wolves living with bears in a large mountainous enclosure, ostriches that strive to bite you :) A whole pride of lions with a giant stone pedestal, like the lion king, and a bunch of other little things are a must-visit

It's a good zoo. I was on a very informative tour organized by letters and numbers in Yerevan. I saw Przewalski's horses for the first time, heard the story about the first elephant who lived in this zoo and helped build it. It's a sad story...
The zoo looks on the same level as its famous foreign counterparts, and there are its own features that create a special atmosphere. I highly recommend you to visit.

Perhaps the most uninteresting zoo.
The entrance group is well done, and the idea of the zoo in the gorge is good, but I did not like the attitude towards animals and the zoo itself, there is not a single sign with a description of animals in the zoo.
In some caves there is garbage from visitors (bottles, wrappers, etc.) The coolest thing in the zoo is Limur, who is ready to give everything to be scratched, but it comes out extremely rarely. You can read it for show, but you will not experience emotions

If you are already in Yerevan, you need to go. At least it's inexpensive. 80% of the park is in terrible conditions, there are new valliers with lemurs and lions. I liked wolves, hyenas and bears. There is free water, a toilet and a playground on site. It is suitable for spending time, but they still have to work and work there. There are no signs, which animals are sometimes not clear. There is an elephant. The zoo is in the process of reconstruction, I hope they will not steal it and I will make a candy.

The animals seem to be well kept. The cost of the visit is about 150 rubles per person (depends on the exchange rate on the day of purchase). I didn't like that almost the entire zoo has empty information signs, it's unclear if there is someone in the enclosure (sometimes they hide, sometimes the enclosure is just empty) and what kind of animal, if it is rare. For example, we came to a pond. We stood there - nothing happens. When they were already moving away, the behemoth showed its nose out of the water) The zoo is big, we didn't regret going. But the feeding of the lion was not on schedule, they waited 15 minutes
