Good place to learn about history of Amir Temur and Central Asia. But most information is in 3rd floor, there is like nothing in 1st and 2nd floor, just hallway, waste of space. Could have been filled with paintings from modern uzbek paintings

I liked visiting the museum. It is a very beautiful building both outside and inside. There are enough historical artifacts. You feel clean and cozy in the museum. It's great that there are guides (in different languages) who will conduct a sightseeing tour (fee at your request). The ticket cost 25 ts. , there is a wardrobe and a clean toilet, a souvenir crush. There is no cafe, but it would be possible to have tea. One of the most interesting museums in Tashkent. The entrance is not central (do not go up the stairs), but from below there is a door (under the main entrance) without a sign.

We were at the museum today. Yes, the museum is beautiful, there is something to see. But, the guide was about nothing.
It is very sad that our experts cannot at least tell interesting historical facts.
I ask the administration to pay attention to this. Firstly, he stood like a taxi driver who catches passengers from the street, and secondly, in half an hour, he told a blunder, adding inappropriate jokes.
He didn't tell me what was in the other rooms, he didn't even show me. I walked quickly through the main exhibit, ran on to catch tourists 🤦♀️
When asked how much his services cost, he said: how much will you give from the bottom of your heart, like how much is not a pity. THE HORROR! Are we in the market?
After all, this is a state museum, why is such a disgrace allowed?
Where is the administration looking? Why is the guide service not making its way to the checkout?
Teach your guides to talk about the Timurids in a decent, interesting and informative way. Let them not shame the country in front of tourists.
After all, you can collect even more interesting facts about the Timurids, tell them so that at least something is remembered. And not to chatter. Work on the quality, please 🙏
I was very ashamed of you today in front of my friends from Russia. I forgot the name of the guide, a man dressed haphazardly, wearing glasses, came in at about 14:45. 10/25/24g Friday.
They paid 20 thousand , 50 thousand each .

A gorgeous museum. Very beautiful, both outside and inside. Before this museum, we were in Samarkand with a guide, so the guide told us in 1 day, everything that was told here (quite interesting) in an hour. A very good maintainer here, a PhD candidate, who speaks in understandable language. The main thing was that the guests were interested! Thanks

The Timurid Museum is very interesting, as they entered the main hall, they were simply stunned by the beauty. I liked the miniature models of the sights of Uzbekistan, especially the Ulugbek Observatory and the Taj Mahal. We visited the museum without a guide, on our own because there were a lot of people. But we have heard how interesting the guides told us, so next time we will definitely use the services of a guide.

A very interesting museum if you take a guided tour. They are held all the time, just go inside with tickets and they will come up to you and ask about the tour. We paid the guide at our discretion. We really enjoyed it! Such an expressive story:)) with a lot of details, clearly, with humor:)) was conducted by a young man, a researcher at the Institute for the Study of Timur (yes, there is such an institute in Uzbekistan), PhD. Thank him very much!

The museum is about nothing. It is not informative, shabby, empty. All exhibits are copies. The originals are in the Hermitage and abroad.
The exhibits are scattered, for the most part some rings and modern unpretentious paintings that do not represent artistic value. If you really want to know the story, read articles or books. The museum will not help you with this.
The toilet is smelly and dirty, of the 4 toilets, only one has paper and a toilet seat rewound with tape. A very dubious place

The museum is a must-visit!!We arrived in the evening, at closing time, no longer hoping that we would have time to explore everything, and were completely surprised that a guide met us, offering his services at the entrance. It's so interesting that we haven't spent time in a museum yet!!))) Thanks for the professionalism and the fascinating story of the museum staff about the Timurid dynasty, the numerous descendants of Tamerlane and the history of his life!!

An interesting museum, we were there on an excursion organized by our university. I love such places myself, but I couldn't visit them before the tour and didn't know if it was worth it. Now I know exactly what it's worth! The museum has many interesting exhibits, models of old historically significant buildings.

We visited this museum with pleasure - the museum of the history of the Timurids. Of course, we expected larger-scale exhibits, but in fact it seemed to me that there was little interesting on display. The second floor is certainly more interesting and saturated. Most of all, the facts about Mirzo Ulugbek left impressions... In places, the museum itself and around it require restoration. We expect even more interesting and attractive facts, exhibits for this museum. Of course, thanks to the first President Islam Abduganievich Karimov anyway, for being the initiator of the creation of this necessary historical museum.

The museum is very beautiful both inside and out. The guide we met was just a fire, competent, humorous and very attentive to the whole group of tourists. There is no point in going in without a tour.
There are not enough exhibits, but this is explained by the rapid commissioning of the museum. I hope they will expand the exposition over time.
The interior was pleasantly surprised, very beautiful and authentic, I went with the effect of "wow! "
The ticket is inexpensive, the staff is responsive.
To the Museum of success and further development and replenishment.

At the entrance to the museum, we met a guide who offered us her services, promising us an interesting and informative tour. They paid in cash. The tour actually turned out to be an audio guide in a live guise. It was obvious that the person was saying memorized things that he repeats from tour to tour. There was no live dialogue. Information about Timur is presented one-sidedly: he is a hero, and we are his heirs. They did not even hear a hint about the complex character, contradictory history, etc., about Timur's cruelty and the grief that he brought to other nations. In fact, such a limited memory of a person is not the history of a person, but the glorification of themselves as his descendants. Something alive, and that between the lines, can be read on the captions to the portraits of his descendants. Each of which ends with a text about how he died/was executed. Here, though without explanation, the tragedy of the tyrant man and his entire family is felt a little.

A beautifully painted wall and a couple of armors. In general, if you are from Uzbekistan and have not skipped history lessons, you will not learn anything new. To shoot with a good video camera, you need to pay extra, and you can shoot on the phone without paying extra... Greed.

Nothing special. Most of the exhibits, if not all, are copies of various relics and souvenirs donated by delegations from different countries. There is an amazing chandelier hanging at the entrance, if it weren't for it, it would be unclear what the money was paid for. So at least we took a picture against the background of the chandelier.

Unfortunately, many of the exhibits are copies, the originals are in European countries. Perhaps there was not enough of a tour guide to understand the idea, chronology and sequence of visiting the museum. It looks more like a museum of everyday life.

The museum is cute inside and out! The exposition, in general, is small, but the beauty of the dome inside with a magnificent chandelier completely compensates for the lack of an abundance of exhibits.
According to the guide, the museum was built in record time from scratch (like 9 months). By the way, I recommend taking a guide - his story will make you very happy with the conciseness of the exposition - a sediment of dissatisfaction may remain from an independent inspection.

We were here on an excursion with students of the pedagogical University. A lot of things in group tours depend on the guide. In this sense, we are very lucky. The girl had a great tour, on the one hand informative, on the other without overloading with information. During self-examination, many interesting points can be missed. At the end, they showed and talked about the modern technologies used in this museum. This greatly decorated the end of the tour.
