An excellent line of RIO hotels, and in Dubai there is full compliance, even if it is four stars! Probably because there are no bars with alcoholic beverages in the rooms, and so full compliance with the RIU ! The kitchen is great, there are even pancakes!!! The rest of the service is also on 5 . We had a rest in 2023 in August-September. We were delighted with the rest. Price= quality. Although the hotel is 4* all inclusive, it can be compared with 5* in Turkey. Cleaning, food, entertainment are all on the level. The food is very varied and delicious! When choosing a hotel, I will advise you 100%.

There are no perfect hotels that are suitable for all occasions. So is this hotel, it is for a measured rest on the beach with pretty decent food and quite decent alcohol. It will be good with children from 0 to 10-12 years old. For an active tourist, the hotel is not suitable, it is located on the outskirts, to shops / attractions only by taxi. Although there is an evening free shuttle to the nearest market. We stayed at the hotel only for a couple of days, we didn't have enough of them, maybe in a week it would have become boring. The food is varied, there is enough seafood. Pork, of course, no. Alcohol is standard, of medium quality. The guests are mostly Europeans. Germans, French, Italians. Staff - no comments. Obvious dirt was not noticed, but they did not put a cracker specifically under the sofa))). The room was with a side view of the sea, it was cozy. The sea is sand. Fish swim, but diving with a mask does not make sense. It's the same for children.

Hello everyone A trip to the UAE and a vacation at this hotel are already memories of last year (there is already a review of the hotel from this year's trip to Hainan Island), BUT I did not consider it fair to leave RIU Dubai without a well-deserved review! The hotel certainly deserves attention when choosing a vacation trip to Dubai!
There are enough reviews about it on the Internet, so I will note the obvious advantages for me:
1) It is located far from the city itself on a bulk island and therefore there is no fuss + the first coastline, which is rare for this emirate + a pleasant breeze;
2) Luxury pools on site (one for children with slides) + bars near adult pools with a good selection of decent alcohol (from 10 am to 6 pm);
3) The all-inclusive system, which is also rare for this rich Arab country... The buffet in the restaurant is just a "demolition of the tower" for the lover of food and fans of Dionysus ... :)) I have a suspicion that during the week of rest it was not possible to try everything that was not created by a small team of chefs of the hotel. I.e. the choice of dishes will satisfy any gourmet and aesthete + wine and beer;
4) Room cleaning, concierge service - EVERYTHING (!) is above any praise.
In general, I recommend the hotel, I can say that **** it has its own absolutely worthily and only just falls short of 5*!!!

We had a rest from March 9 to March 16, 2024!
We arrived at the hotel around 6:30 in the morning. We were registered, given detailed information, and offered a snack at the bar (sandwiches, tea/coffee). The main breakfast started at 7:30.
The hotel manager offered early check-in for an additional fee: $ 110. We refused, went to breakfast, and at about 9.00 a.m. we were given the keys.
It rained heavily on the day of arrival, but fortunately, the weather was sunny all the following days. The air temperature is 25-27 degrees, the water temperature is 22-23 degrees. It was cool in the evenings, they wore sweatshirts. I advise you to use a sunscreen with high protection, you burn instantly.
The interior of the hotel is without frills, we were a little surprised by the white walls on the floors where the rooms are located (painted walls like in a state institution). But the room is spacious, fresh, clean, modern, we really liked it. The cleaning is excellent, the bar is replenished with soft drinks and water upon request.
Since the hotel is located close to the airport in Dubai, planes are constantly flying, very close and low. Especially in the evening and in the morning, we counted about 15 flights with a frequency of 3 minutes. But you get used to it, and it didn't bother you much.
The hotel is located far from the city, by taxi to Dubai Mall in 30 minutes, to Marina beach in 40 minutes, if there are no traffic jams; to the nearest metro station by taxi in 15 minutes. Yandex taxi allows you to order only a Business fare, so I think a regular taxi (mainly a Camry) will be cheaper. The hotel is for a relaxing holiday on the sun beds, there is not much place to walk, you can go to the territory of the only neighboring hotel and in the opposite direction along the sand along the sea. There are plains with construction sites around.
The animation is fun, every evening there are events, concerts, karaoke, bingo and dancing! Afternoon pool activities for children!
There is almost always a Russian-speaking employee at the reception. You can also exchange currency there, but it is more expensive than in the city. The hotel staff is very friendly.
They don't understand Russian at the bar, I tried to explain the ratio of ingredients in a cocktail on my fingers (I wanted less alcohol) it didn't work out very well! With my zero English on my "pina colada havas e little rum" (I wanted half a glass and some rum) the bartender poured half a glass of rum and added the rest of the cocktail ingredients there!)
Of alcoholic beverages in bars, red label whiskey, St-Rémy XO brandy, Bacardi rum, tequila, vodka, champagne, cinzano vermouth, campari, red and white wine (semi-dry or semi-sweet), draft beer. Mahito and pina colada cocktails are made from mixtures prepared in large vats with the addition of bacardi rum. I haven't tried the rest of the cocktails, but there are five or seven on the menu. Wine or beer can be ordered in restaurants.
I really liked the food! This is the main advantage of the hotel! Dishes of different cuisines, seafood every day (fried shrimp, boiled and in salads, octopus), different fish, salmon, sea bass. Pastas, steaks, burgers, various cheeses, including those with mold! Delicious desserts! Fruits include pineapple, passion fruit, papaya, melon, watermelon, grapefruit, oranges, apples. The fruits are ripe!
The Ala carte restaurants (Italian, Asian, Lebanese) have almost the same dishes as in the main restaurant, plus several additional dishes of the cuisine of this country.
There are only two coffee machines in the main restaurant and often there was always a queue around them. Tea, juices, lemonades, beer, wine and water can be asked to bring a waiter, and you need to go for coffee yourself.
There is a gym, a sauna with a swimming pool. The visit is free of charge. But spa treatments are many times more expensive than in Samara.
In one of the reviews I read that the bed linen was not changed, but in fact, to change the bed linen, you need to put a cardboard card on the bed with an inscription about changing the linen, which lies on each bedside table in the room (changing the sheets)
In the sea, ramps about half a meter in size swam up to the beach!

A family hotel , we went with a child . I liked everything , the food was varied and delicious . The beach is clean , we were without aquashouses , everything is normal .The only thing we lived on the ground floor was the ice floors in the room. But they only came to the room to sleep, so it's not critical.

We were at the nearby Centara Hotel in December 2022, and the level is higher there!!!! Even the quality of the choice of dishes is greater! Gym - everyone can visit!!! Nice hotel. It is located on the first line with its own beach and a small water park. Very attentive, polite and caring staff, none of your requests will be ignored. The food is without special frills, but you will not stay hungry. Of the disadvantages, the sea is not very clean (packages, other garbage), but this is probably more a question for tourists. We rested in Rio Dubai in the middle of August for 7 days. It's a 20-minute drive from the airport. We arrived at the hotel around 14.00 on Saturday. The hotel was 100% full. We were sent to lunch and then checked in.
You don't have to change money at the airport. In Rio, the course was the same, or even more profitable. Some exchangers charge a 5% commission, be vigilant.
Upon arrival, we were given SIM cards with 1GB of traffic per day. It turned out to be 2 gigs)))
A lot of locals come for the weekend.
Number. A large modern one with a mini-bar (cola, Fanta, sprite, juice), refilled every two days. Cons of the room: there is no ventilation in the bathroom. When the balcony is open, all mirrors fog up.
Bar. A large selection of premium drinks in any quantity. White Bacardi rum, black Captain Morgan. Whiskey red red label. Wine is red, white, pink, champagne. Proseko. Several types of liqueur. Beer. Coffee. A martini. Gin. Vodka. Tequila. Cognac. Everything is unlimited, but only until 3 a.m.).
Restaurants. Three alyakart- you can go for a change of scenery. Lebanese is always free and there is not much to eat there. The main restaurant has a huge selection of food for every taste. Fish, chicken, lamb, rice, pasta, pasta, potatoes (fries, baked, mashed), vegetables, fruits, cheeses, ice cream, nuts, dried fruits, sauces, shrimp, mussels, squid, pizza. It is impossible to list everything and it is difficult to try. Hot dogs, burgers, fruits are available 24 by 7 in the sports bar.

Most of the vacationers were Americans, Germans, mostly foreigners. There are few Russians.
There is a Russian-speaking girl from Belarus at the reception - Zlata. Thank her very much. I was always ready to help and solve any issue.
Entertainment events are held every evening, as in Turkey, until 23.00-00.00. then silence comes and only the sports bar and the bar with alcohol are open. There is nothing to do, they are not allowed to enter the hotel. You can only stay in the bar or reception area. Alcohol in the room after 00.00 cannot be taken out of the bar either, security does not let it out.
Travel to the city, only by taxi. To Burj Khalifa in the area of 50 dirhams. It is better to take a taxi with yellow checkers near the hotel or any shopping center. Yandex turns out to be more expensive for the application. Taxi cars are mostly toyota Camry. They always take you by the meter.
The hotel is a great replacement for Turkish or Egyptian holidays. There is nothing to spend money on, only on excursions.

The room is standard: furniture and other things are in excellent condition, there is a set for tea and coffee, towels are changed and added if necessary, daily and high-quality cleaning. The mini bar is replenished every other day.
We were completely satisfied with the food: a fairly wide range, everything is edible))). The waiters will always help you find a suitable table, even during rush hour. Ala-kart restaurants add 2-3 dishes that are not available in the general restaurant. Except for Asian- we were not there.
Bars work perfectly))), drinks are available and can mix a cocktail that is not on the map. There's also soft ice cream.
I really liked that there is no food and snacks in the bars: therefore, there is no food lying around, blown away by the wind and does not float in the pool)))
The territory is small, but there are paths for the promenade. You can also walk along the shore in both directions.

We were there last year, everything was fine. And this year we decided to go there at the end of June, we rested so-so and this was the last time, the rooms smelled of sewage, the water in the shower was standing and they brought a device to get rid of it. Towels every other time with some bloodstains. Outside by the pool, something was being repaired all the time and it also smelled like sewage.
One plus is the staff in the dining room and in the bars, who are polite. But! The receptionist named Ali confuses the boundaries of what is acceptable!!!!
And this time we witnessed unpleasant scenes from both Europeans and our fellow citizens-shame on you!!!!
Room cleaning is also a separate story:one cleans well and respects the wishes, and the other does not, at all. (Even when you show gratitude in monetary terms).

We rested at the hotel with a family with a teenager of 14 years from October 20-27, 2022. The hotel for the declared 4 stars is very good! Price/Quality! I really liked the food! Everything is delicious and enough! Fish/meat, shrimp, fruit! 3 Ala Kart restaurants, sign up immediately on the day of arrival or the next, it's difficult to get in, since everything is booked. I really liked the Asian restaurant and the Lebanese one. Italian is also not bad. We were satisfied with the rest! But there are small disadvantages, there was always an unpleasant smell in the main restaurant for lunch and dinner. As you come in, you immediately feel, either some kind of spice, or the smell of rottenness. It was unpleasant for me, but after a while you get used to it. There's nowhere to go) Alternatively, sit on the terrace. The second disadvantage is tasteless drinks at the beach bar and by the pool, the dishes there are plastic and all battered, chipped and muddy. There were no snacks, but I didn't need it. There are drinks in the mini bar, it is better to take them to the beach with you from there. The third disadvantage is the sand on the beach with a small crushed shell, it digs into the legs, but it is tolerable. The fourth is that there is little greenery on the territory, since the hotel is new. The fifth minus is a little far from the Dubai Mall, which in general did not bother me, there is a taxi, it takes 20 minutes to go. I have been there 3 times in a week and there is always a taxi at the entrance and back. So the last minus is even a plus to the price of the hotel. If it were closer, it would be +100k more expensive. In conclusion, I want to say that all the disadvantages are insignificant, so in general all human needs are closed! Sea, beach, delicious food, clean nice rooms and helpful staff! I will definitely advise my friends in this price category! 👌🏼

We rested with my husband in this magnificent hotel for 12 days. I liked the location, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, if desired, you can get to the metro by taxi, quickly and not very expensive. Wonderful service, fantastically delicious food, evening and morning programs, volleyball, water park, sauna, Jacuzzi, gym, and all this is included in your vacation without any additional charges, and next time I will go there.
