We are resting here in January 2022. I like absolutely everything!!! Of course, the most important and captivating thing is the staff!!! That's 10 out of 5!!!! Very emotional! Very responsive! Courteous! Politely! Hospitable! For the rest of the items - food, rooms, service - 5! Cleaning every day! Every two days replenishment of the bar in the room! Great Wi-Fi! Pool cleanliness control is regular! Mask control! You can list endlessly, but we are very happy with everything! The only drawback is that there is absolutely nowhere to walk on the island where the Hotel is located - only taxi departure!

Pros:
1. The hotel is new.
2. There is still one on the island. Very clean, secluded.
3. The beach is wonderful, the bottom is flat, the sand is quite large, there are a lot of shells, crabs live where there are almost no people yet, different fish swim into the sea.
4. Good quality Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Including on the beach.
5. They feed very well. Quite diverse. I'm used to good restaurants, I appreciate good food. There is a vegetarian menu. Nuance: all the inscriptions of the dishes are in English. And not all dishes are signed.
6. A good water park. Three zones: for very young, for older children, for teenagers and adults.
7. Children's pool for kids under a canopy near the children's club.
8. There are three swimming pools on the street. With bars. They make cocktails. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. There is no food. Only peanuts.
9. Several restaurants. They work on certain days. You need to make an appointment for dinner in advance.
10. There are several bars in the building. Including a sports bar. In which at any time you can have a snack with fruits, sandwiches, pastries.
11. Imported alcohol. Average, but quite acceptable.
12. Two 1.5-liter bottles of water are placed in the room every day.
13. There is a gym and a SPA.

1. Sometimes in the evenings there is live music in a bar on the street on the roof of the ground floor. If the windows are facing the sea in that part of the building, then you can probably hear everything.
2. Near the airport. Planes often take off. If you sleep with the balcony door open, especially sensitive people can be woken up. But it looks spectacular when you swim, and a plane takes off from behind the hotel building.
3. Almost everyone speaks only English. For the entire period, one girl and a Russian-speaking woman met at the reception.
4. Check-in at 15:00. Check-out before 11:00. You can extend your stay for 90 dirhams per person per hour.

I categorically do not recommend the RIU hotel for racism against Russians. There are a lot of African Americans among the vacationers who insult Russians with words and gestures, put national music in the speakers, which interferes with your rest. Security and staff are inactive and stand on the opposite side from you.
If you want to relax and reboot, the hotel will not suit you. Quiet horror that awaits you on the beach and in general on the territory, you will be insulted, survive with phrases, Russians have no place in the country and the hotel.

We were vacationing in mid-December 2022, booked a room with a sea view right away. The Riu grid did not disappoint (they always have a particularly reverent attitude to the service): periodically we were asked if we liked everything, daily room cleaning, daily towel change, restaurant service, good-natured attitude of all staff. There are also no complaints about nutrition, you will definitely not stay hungry.

I liked everything in general. The location is chic, secluded, while it is a large hotel, not a guest house. The hotel is new, and this is positively reflected in the operation of the air conditioning system, elevators, cleaning of swimming pools, in general, all equipment. Rooms are well cleaned, smells good, bathrooms and toilets are clean.
There are disadvantages, but they taste and color, someone does not like the food, but everything is OK for me and my family, you can always find something interesting. Some guests do not fit into the format of a family hotel, large and noisy companies, but this is rare. For some reason, sometimes not 2, but 1 beach bar work.
There are many foreigners from Europe, Japan and America in the hotel, but there are also influx of Indians and locals on weekends.
We stayed at the hotel in March for 7 days, then in June for 16 days with a threesome with my wife and son of 10 years. In June, Dubai is something special in terms of heat, stable +41-43, hot even in the evening, the sea is hotter, at the end they began to swim steadily in the pool. Found a lot of friends for small. It's hard to tell by the prices, there's nothing to compare it with.
